gemini dogsMy son is in New York with his father, my daughter and I are at home. She’s 12… Gemini.

“Yeah, I miss my brother,” she said. “I miss my Fat Albert my bro-bro.”

I wheeled around. “Your bro-bro? Fat Albert?” I laughed.

“Yeah, that’s what I’m callin’ him now. I think he’ll like it. Do you think he’ll like it?”

“Oh yeah. He’s amused by you.”

“Well I was thinking I should get him some candy too, for when he gets back. I’m going to buy him a bunch of it. He deserves it. And I was thinking I could hide it under his pillow so when he lays down he can find it with his head.”

I laughed.

“Does that sound like a good big sister?”

“Yep. He’ll be very entertained, I’m sure. No one would do that for him but you.”

“Okay, then it’s decided. I’ll ride up to the store today and get it for him. Bunches and bunches of candy because that’s what he likes. I miss the little boy, you know? I really do miss him. My little brother, Bro-bro. Bro-bro the Fat Albert that I love.”
