I have a lot of Capricorn and to put Venus in Leo square Neptune in a chart like mine is a cosmic joke… or pure cruelty depending on how you look at it.

Neptune square Venus makes whatever appeal I have unbeknownst to me most days of the week so as a Capricorn, who always feels lowly I have to take it on faith (Neptune) there is something appealing about me (Venus). But my appeal is indefinable (Neptune) which Saturn hates. Leo rules entertainment by the way…

I’m talking to the soldier here…

“Well, you’re entertaining, I’ll say that. I am endlessly entertained by you,” he said.

“Why? What do you mean? What do I do that entertains you because I have a feeling you are entertained by my stupidity. Is that it? I say stupid things and you’re amused? How come you don’t know why you’re entertained? Because it’s not like I sing and dance. I would really like to know this. I would like to know what is so funny and entertaining unbeknownst to me.”

“Everything. Everything you do or say entertains me, it always has.”

“Yes, well that’s unnerving, don’t you think? I mean I am glad you like me and all. I know you like it when I get pissed off and yell. You love that. But the rest of this, I have no idea what you find so entertaining because as far as I know I am just being there. I am alive in the room.”

He didn’t say anything.

“It’s because I eat dinner in my pajamas isn’t it? Is that it?” I asked. “Because that is a stupid thing to do? I go in the restaurant in my pajamas which makes me somewhat of a hick as if that matters on the side of the road in the middle of South Dakota. I don’t think I am the only hick in South Dakota but whatever. You can act like I am.”

He laughed.

“And then I do something else. Who knows what, but what ever it is you’re entertained? Is that it? I’m a pinball bopping around, ping, ping, ping on your buttons?”

“P, I don’t know what to say besides I have never met anyone as entertaining as you in my life. You’re non-stop entertainment as far as I’m concerned.”

“Okay, well I am glad you get off on my being weird if that’s what this is. But for the record it’s totally disturbing. It doesn’t give me a good feeling to be some kind of train wreck you can’t keep your eyes off. You’re mesmerized or something. What does that do for me?”

No comment.

“Well I guess it gets me another date,” I said. “And God knows I always want one of those. So hey. I’m just going to forget we ever had this conversation if you don’t mind. It got me nowhere but it got you entertained! And I think I see your point,” I said, screwing my face up into a pout. “I would like to win one of these you know. You’re a bit of a bastard. You could be an entire bastard and I don’t think I’d know it. I hope nobody tells me that. He’s a bastard! Yes he is, I’ll say. And I entertain him so what do you want me to do about that?”

I looked away so I wouldn’t see him grinning.
