Jupiter in Sagittarius Square Uranus: Are You Part Of A Tribe?
Ask the collective…
A pal came to the surprising conclusion this week, she has no ‘tribe”. Tribe being a Jupitarian thing.
It looks on the surface as if she’s part of certain culture but her feelings run counter to feelings of her people… her family and the people who look like her, and consequently she stands alone and this came as a revelation to me.
On the flip, courtesy my Pluto Moon transit (excavate your roots) I am becoming aware I am very connected to my tribe, which has been largely subconscious and this has also been a revelation.
She can’t get away from the fact she is unlike her people. I can’t get away from the fact that I am!
What are your general thoughts on “tribe”.

I’m not exactly sure what you mean by “tribe” but I don’t really think that I feel connected either — if we’re talking about family, not at all, and if we’re talking social tribe … well, people would point and say I was a hipster. And I guess I am. I just feel like “me”, right?
I feel disconnected from any group. I have moon conjunct jupiter & pluto, so I really shouldn’t feel that way so much, so removed from peers… but venus is opposite most of it. I’m thinking maybe my job in this life is to create my own tribe.
The first part of my life was very lonely. There was no connection whatsoever with anyone else, in my family or outside. In my late 30s, when I had finally become comfortable being myself, I started to meet new people who simply were themselves too. They became the best and dearest friends I could ever have wished for. They are my teachers and healers, my brothers and sisters, my sounding board and safety-net: my tribe. Without them I wouldn’t have survived my strange life.
I have Uranus square Jupiter but I also have Jupiter Conjunct the Moon (family life) so yeah I have a deep connection to my family whether for better or worse and yet I’ve always been seperate in my way.
I have a Leo stellium Jupiter/Moon/Mars/NN in the 11th house (Jupiter is technically within the 1st degree of Virgo at 0°15’03). Anyway the whole thing is square 3rd House Uranus in Scorpio.
I’ve been swimming upstream my whole life. People generally warm to me easily even though they have difficulty understanding me. I also draw alot of interesting unique eccentric type people into my life. I wouldn’t call it alienation, if anything in my chart points to alienation it would be my Saturn in the 12th, and Saturn is sextile my Uranus. I think my Uranus points more to my need for absolute freedom which from what I’ve learned when personal freedom is taken to an extreme personal freedom can become a prison in itself.
I also have Neptune square AC and Uranus sextile AC, so there are other aspects that point to this thing with lking me but having trouble pinning me down.
I have never, ever had a tribe. I just have a collection of amazing individuals whom I would lay down my life for and the amazing thing is, I know they would do the same for me. I do wonder what it would be like to have a tribe, though.

I’ve been feeling less and less connected to my tribe – I’m not like them and I never will be – it’s time to accept it and leave peacefully with it.
(wow, it seems that I have an opinion on everything you ask! lol)
