Mercury in Aries vs Mercury in Libra: Freakish Timing

May 14th, 2007 @ 10:17 am by Elsa

Astrology in Real Life…

dartsMercury rules timing and the soldier and I have Mercury in opposition…. 180 degrees apart. So we decided to do this, to try to collide sort of like two darts trying hit the same dot on the map. I was coming in on a plane, then driving… he was driving.

We knew we could get to the same city on the same day for some amount of time but outside of that, it was a total crap shoot. I booked my flight and with 1 day notice so I didn’t have anything to say about “when”. I had no choice but to pick the only reasonable fare in between getting my kids to school on Friday and Mother’s Day, so I did.

I didn’t know exactly where we’d meet until the next day but when that day arrived we could see things we synching up.

However, when he told me 4 hours before my flight, precisely where to meet him (side of the road at a truck stop) I’d have never dreamed I would pull in just 5 minutes before he did. Can you imagine? I had to make 2 flights, rent a car – that’s timing! But it gets even more incredible.

I pulled in and parked at the truck stop and seeing as it was nice in Minnesota, I rolled down the window and what do I hear?

I hear BAND OF GOLD screaming… just blaring from loudspeakers where the truckers fuel and wash their windows. And you tell me. What do you do about something like this?

It things like that, that freak me out about love. Such synchronicities make me feel that love is fated, but I end up being the only one feeling that way, while the guy I was with thought otherwise.
Example: I dont know if you guys read Michael Lutin but two weeks ago he had this whole post about Venus-Pluto and fated/innapropriate relationships, there was a song about hearing someone’s voice, and seening him across the room..etc..etc..and that week , after months and months of seclusion, I go out and I bump into my ex 4 times in one week! needless to say that got me all reved up in fantasy land and I was back at square one, feeling positive that he must be for me! he on the other hand was distant, courteous and blase…ughhhhhhhh

I would definitely take it as a sign, but then, I believe in signs. ;)

My view on something like this is just god smiling down and helping out with the memories that are core deep.

lol! how interesting. it’s like the two little notes that pop up in movies whenever there’s a killer shark nearby. “nun nuh, nun nuh…”
