That’s my car. I got in a wreck about two years ago as Jupiter and Mercury squared my Mars (twisted metal) Mercury (transportation) conjunction.

Now I got hurt in that accident and I thought about suing. And in fact I knew if I did, I would win because I always win in court, and I mean always. However, I don’t like it! I hate court and with Venus (money) square Neptune (listless), I am decidedly unmotivated by money, so what to do?

Because if I have to sue, I will. By that I mean, if the universe insists… makes it clear to me I have some kind of karmic duty to fight in court then I’ll do it but this is definitely not my desire. So I consulted the Fairy Network.

The Fairy Network is what I call my friends, collectively. Because the insurance guy was a jerk, which is his job, of course. For example, he called me after the accident. I was in pain and chaos, a car-less single mother, and he chatted me up.

“Ow, I bet that hurts,” he said. “I was in an accident like this once and I know how bad it is,” he said, commiserating.

“Well, yeah. Yes, it does hurt,” I said.

“Have you ever been in an accident before?” he asked.

“What?”

See? He’s building a case! Here I am all disoriented and he’s trying to get a history. Something he can blame my injuries on in case we go to court…

::sigh::

This is me, talking to a Fairy:

“So what do you think? He’s a jerk, but I really don’t want to sue. It’s just too much trouble. Oh brother, I don’t care if I win. Who wants to go through all that?”

“Well if you don’t want to sue I am sure you can get something out of them.”

“Like what? Give me a number.”

“I don’t know.” But apparently she did because she gave me a number.

“Okay, that sounds good. That would be a fine number as far as I’m concerned so I’ll try to get them to give that to me and we’ll see how I do.”
