Ok, so start off I’m female and I’m very gay – like, superhero gay. Scary, butch gay — but that’s not the problem.
I am almost 20 and since 9th grade, I have had an on and off girlfriend who I love with everything I have. In November we were in an “on” period and I decided if I wanted to hold onto her forever then hell, let’s get married. So, I proposed.
She didn’t take it well. She started spreading rumors about me and really hurt my reputation with our friends and just about everyone else we both knew.
So, now I’m in a terrible place and I don’t know what to do. I do still love her and want her as a wife, but I am sane enough to know it will never happen. I’m so close to fleeing town and leaving my loved ones and friends behind because of her…. help? Thanks, hun.

Can you find something to call yourself besides “scary”? Please? Because if you’re scary, then I’m probably scary and I don’t want to be scary. I want to be Elsa. And yes, this relates to your question.
There is nothing you can do about what your girlfriend or your friends think in the moment, except know that whatever they’re thinking now is going to change. And meantime you have needs.
With all the Aries in your chart, you have a need to act independently and be heroic for one thing. So while they’re all doing what they’re doing, what are you going to do? How are you going to direct your energy?
Aries is a soldier. And soldiers need a challenge. They need something to fight for. So if I were you, I would think along these lines. What are you going to DO! Aries need to act. What’s scary, is when Aries gives up. So please. For the love of God, go find a butt to kick. How about your own?
Get back in your power, why don’t you? Lift some weights. Take kickboxing. Go run! Do something (that you were born to do) and I bet you see these problems will solve themselves.
And don’t you dare flee! Since when do Super-heroes flee? Gah.

Thanks Elsa. I suppose I do need a kick in the butt, and who better to do it than me?
For any that are interested (ha!) I think I’m going to stop playing with the idea of becoming a journeyman in welding and go do it. I won’t have to leave town but I will be super busy and, I think, happy with it.
Marly, Kashmiri, thank you too. I appreciate it. Before all this I really did think that she’d make a great crime-fighting partner. It didn’t turn nasty until after I asked. I can see that she is (or at least has become) a little runt.

Ah, don’t like being scary, Elsa? How about imposing, formidable, strong or competent? Lot’s of people find that pretty frightening when they’re all found in one person. 
If this is the kind of person she is – the type who will spread malicious rumors about someone who only wanted the best for her – then ~why,~ exactly, do you want to be tied to her forever?
Not to sound cliche, but, seriously, you have *years* to make this decision! And, believe it or not, a lot of people change dramatically between where you are now and 25-30.

Correction SaDiablo, I -wanted- to be tied to her forever. She -was- a sweet girl. She has since ruined that with the malicious rumors and hate. My opinion of her has dropped more since I wrote Elsa.
However if the girl could see what she’s doing and find a heart I would consider being friends again. But she would have to work very, very hard to win me back.

Sweetheart, why would you want someone as a wife who spread rumors about you? Wouldn’t you rather have a wife who was sensitive to your feelings and valued you as a human being? In order to be heroic, you also have to see things clearly. This woman deliberately and maliciously hurt you. Superheroes need sidekicks who are worthy. This lady does not sound worthy. My two cents.
