Mercury in Aries vs Mercury in Libra: The Box… And The Story In The Box
So what’s it’s been? About six weeks? I finished watching media the Soldier sent me last night. He warned me about 100 times that some of the stuff was graphic and considering it took him 3 years to get the nerve up to send it, it seems I consumed it fairly rapidly and I sure am glad I did.
You have to understand, I knew this man when I was a teenager. And he was teenager too! He was 19 when I met him and though he already had a rich history, the idea of joining Special Forces, or more succinctly, the idea of trying to make Special Forces had not quite crystallized.
In fact, he spent most his time playing his guitar and singing me John Lennon songs if you can believe that. But eventually something shifted deep inside him. And once that happened, this yearning emerged. It was as if his destiny had come to call and once it did…
Well every day he became a little clearer about what he thought he wanted. He became a little more focused. And I watched this transformation.
“It’s occurred to me…” morphed to, “I’ve been thinking about…” turned to, “I really think I am going to…” and finally, “Elsa, I am going to have to do this…”
I watched him start to build up his body. He was skinny when I met him. He was very nearly a nerd, he was so smart. Although he always had the ability to break a jaw.
But anyway, he started to move and once he got going… well he gained momentum and then more momentum and then more and more and more and more. And pretty soon he was on a mission. He just had all this velocity around him… it was incredible. Eventually he became unstoppable. Something like this happens and you just have to get out of the way
And I have witnessed things like this all my life. People tend to meet me during times of crisis or intense change. I figure I am there to assist and I absolutely do.
But I also wonder if I’m there because I am a storyteller. I think so.

Have you ever seen someone transform right before your eyes? Alternately, have you ever had someone assist or support your transformation? Where is Pluto in your chart?

Pluto is the 9th house, in Libra. Many of the transformations I have witnessed in my life in other people have been spiritual…I have commented in the comment section before about my Mum going from fundamentalist Christian to “spiritual freedom seeker” (she’s an Aries Sun with an Aquarius Moon) studying other religions.
Something I became aware of before I was 12 years old was the term “Spiritual abuse.”
I am super interested in all things religious, though I wish I lived in the Classical Greek world when mixing things up in terms of deities was far more acceptable than seems to be now.
Wow, Viviana, I bet with Pluto in yor 8th house you see transformation all over the place!
kashmiri,
Yes, but i don’t notice it alot, maybe because it’s that common. I had to think a bit before I answered. I see alot of light forms of transformation, like people having insights.
Also people do change alot. Especially when their younger i think. I change alot from time to time.
Pluto has been transiting my sun, neptune, mercury, mars, midheaven and now moon since 1995. I have transformed, many, many times but it’s funny because I don’t feel much different, or look any different, but when I think about the periods in my life where I was living a certain way, it doesn’t even feel like that was me! I wouldn’t be that person, would I? It’s very weird to think about it and I’ll be glad when Pluto gets the hell outta Sagittarius. I finally want to know who I am! I never really have. In the natal chart, I have Pluto in the 7th, in Libra, sextile Mercury, Mars and Neptune.
Most of the transformations I have seen have been religious (as a child) and educationally. Otherwise, people don’t change much around me.
storyteller, yes. and record keeper. someone has to not just witness, but document these intense changes.
he keeps telling you things you don’t remember, but it seems like it’s useful for him to be able to review these past events with someone who was there, who can help him suss the inter-connections.
Im constantly transforming myself and assisting others. I always seem to find myself in intense emotional situations with others because of this
Im definetely not surprised by this though and need this in my life to feel whole in sense. It seems only natural since I have a tight stellium in the 8th including an exact conjunction with Pluto and Venus which are a degree away from my Scorpion Sun. I am very much a secret keeper and people always seem to tell me very private deep things. I do feel they are somehow compelled to tell me such information because they feel in sense I already know (whether I do or not).
When you learn such personal facets of someone it seems that there is no alternative but to transform and grow.
At the moment transising Pluto is conjucnting my exact mars neptune conjuction which is in tight trine to that 8th house stellium. There is plenty going on my life, much intensity, much sickness but what I believe (neptune) is keeping me alive(mars) is music (neptune) (in every sense of the word) I have completely immeresed (Pluto) myself in it. Its always been a big part of life but I have really become aware of this aspect in my chart at work at the moment
(amongst other things).
