cameroonI was on the cross-trainer today next to pal, Denis, from Cameroon.

“Where’s your… where’s that guy?” he asked. “He’s not here today? He’s not chasing today?” He meant the Salesman.

“He’s gone, Denis. He. Is. Gone.”

He laughed. “Really?”

“Yeah, he’s actually gone. He moved back to the desert, starting today. We’re not going to see him anymore.”

“Ah, that’s too bad. It was… comic. It was comical watching the two of you.”

“I bet.”

“Yeah, he was really… he was on you like… I couldn’t believe it.”

“Yeah, and I’m going to miss him now. Because I’d decided to study him. I was studying him… the astrology. And I told him too.”

“You told him you were studying him?”

“Of course. If he’s going to bother me, I am going study him.”

“I bet he liked that. Get in real close and study this, baby,”

I snorted. “Right. He thought I might come to the desert for a little of that. He said it was only 1000 miles away,” I explained.

“What isn’t going to happen here is going to happen 1000 miles away? Is that what he thinks.”

“Yes. That was it exactly.” I explained the whole astro-twins deal.

“This is the military guy?” he asked, pronouncing military, mil-LIT-tree, because his speech is very elegant.

“Yeah.”

“Tell me about him, Elsa. Tell me something about him.”

“Okay Denis. The Soldier? I’ll fill you in…”

Jupiter and Sagittarius rule storytelling and foreigners, so my conversation with Denis from Cameroon is a perfect manifestation of Jupiter’s current transit through Sagittarius. The idea is that both people are expanded and enhanced by the act. And the story gets to travel when Denis retells it in whole or in part in the (Sagittarius-ruled) “future”.

Do you share the stories of your life with the people you meet? If not, do you have a storytelling friend?

Sure, I tell stories all the time. Not to mention going on five years of blogging and message boards all over the internet.

All the time. And I’ve been doing it since I was a very little kid bc I often had to entertain for my supper (being that I can’t sing for my supper, since I can’t carry a tune.) But I am going to cut back bc sometimes people think that when I tell a story, that it’s an opportunity for them to give me advice about my life. And it’s not! My life is not a democracy, boys and girls. I’m just here to entertain you (Venus in Gemini, Leo Sun).

Ohhhh! I just realized something. I love to tell stories of my life…..even the embarrassing ones! I like to tell all the details….the good, the bad and the ugly of my life and deeds. Having a Scorpio Moon I find this very odd because you’d think that I’d like to keep everything on the down-low. But noooooo! My Sagg Sun and Mercury must be out with the truth….and sordid details. Oh well at least I don’t bore people…..I hope:\

God, I’ve been known to spout my life story to people I’ve known five minutes -LOL. I just have a gene that requires I have no secrets – so I do try to keep everything open and above board. Not everyone is comfortable with this, so I’m learning when NOT to tell all, but my first instinct is to go for it. Funny, because the first 35 years of my life, I probably didn’t talk openly to anyone, I was so quiet and shy. I guess I’m just a late bloomer.

One of my fondest memories is of meeting a woman in France at my hotel. We spent 3 days talking. We knew everything about each other, and man did we both find it like THERAPY! Of course, we didn’t keep in touch.

I have travelled al over the world and it is a dream come true for me to meet a stranger who likes to talk, really talk. I used to try to keep in contact until I realized the beauty was in the moment.

If anyone sees Susan from NYC for me, say hi.
