Love Stinks!

I was talking to a pal last night, she’s dating an Aries. You have to challenge Aries or else. This blog is full of women (and men) writing about how their Aries lover has lost interest after they have offered their total devotion. Aries hates that!

Aries is the God of War, not love. Put Venus in one of the Mars-ruled signs and it starts to cook. It gets hot. Mars likes to fight. Venus in Aries makes war of love and love of war and this is the story I told this gal last night…

My sister is a Pisces with Venus in Aries. One day her husband answered a knock at the door of their home. It was a saleswoman and as my sister’s husband stood talking to her, my sister got a vibe she didn’t like.

Being a dancer, the front room of their house was a studio with a hardwood floor and catching this vibe, she picked up a chair and without a moment of hesitation she winged it across the room aimed at his knees.

The chair went sliding across the floor and went BAM into his shins, nearly knocking him down like a bowling pin and though he wheeled around in a flash of anger he wound up with this stupid puppy dog, “I love you” look across his face. He then shut the door on the saleswoman without comment, and this turned into foreplay for the two of them and do you know who told me this story?

He did. He had an Aries rising. Aries hates a wimp and he was braggin’ on his woman for not taking any shit.

Dear Gemini,

No I never feel like I am failing my chart and I don’t think you are failing yours. You have chart ruler Venus in Aries (the sign of its detriment) square Saturn, so it’s no great surprise you encounter strife and struggle in relationships. This aspect would also make you prone to feeling you are failing, so there you go - your chart is working just fine.

The Venus Saturn also explains your weary feelings along with your Moon Neptune in Scorpio which is going to see the tide go out from time to time regardless of what you do. So the real problem here is the horoscopes you are reading.

First, not everyone who says they can read a chart can… and secondly you can’t just apply these bits you read here and there and think they ought to apply, because there are just too many things to take into consideration and I can equate this to hair.

A lot of people have black hair but it is all the same? It’s not. Black hair is long, short, kinky, straight, fine, coarse, etc. Some people have a head full; others have just one hair left, others have Mohawks and so on and on. Now if you read on the web that all black haired people are going to (or should) part their hair on the left and comb it over, is this going to be accurate? It’s not. It is going to be ridiculous.

I say if you are going to use astrology, get it right and get something out of it. In this case you are using astrology to feel bad about yourself which is a lousy application. It could easily be supporting you but which tack you take is entirely up to you.

Dear Aquarius,

You can get anything or anyone you want in life? I am afraid I disagree with you. There are legions of people out there who have lost a friend or a lover, wished for and wanted them back… and failed to have this manifest. The other person has something to say about it.. The other person has free will and as an Aquarian, you should inherently understand this. That people are going to do what they want, that is.

This guy apparently wants to fantasize about butterflies. He might like to see them flying around his beloved’s head… or perhaps they are in his stomach, I don’t know. But he does not want to be in a relationship with you, at least not the one you imagine.

Now here’s a tip: you have Venus and Mars in Aries. You also have planets in Capricorn, Saturn in the first and you wish to control things, especially others. So now you want to get this guy to do something, and I would not be the least bit surprised if this were at the root of why you lost him in the first place.

People don’t like to be controlled and manipulated (Pluto in Scorpio in aspect to Venus and Mars) so when they meet someone controlling and manipulative, they tend to make like a butterfly and fly away.
