Sun Conjunct Saturn @ 9 Years Old - Better Year For Taurus?

Astrology in real life

taurus zodiac denicolaGuess where Vidroid is right now?

Yep. He’s a Belle’s house, how about that?

Both my Taurus are with the women they love after a year of patience and deprivation.

Any other Bulls seeing improvement post their (birthday) solar return?

Taurus Tries To Deal With Saturn In Virgo Diet Control

Astrology in real life

kool-aid man.jpg“You’re slimmin’ right down,” I told the soldier. “Look at you.”

“Yeah, right. Slimmin’ down. That’s why China called. Hey can you reduce your portions some so some of our people can have something to eat?”

I roared.

“Europe called too. Hey can you do something about that belly? You’re blocking the sun over here. You’re messing up our sciencitists. They thought there was an ecclipse!”

More laughing.

“And how come when I wear red, all the kids yell KOOOOL-AID, huh?”

Taurus Holding On To Stuff

Astrology in real life

yellow-legal-pad.jpgTaurus holding on to stuff, it never ceases to amaze me. Today the soldier needed a tablet, he can’t believe I live without them and he comes up with a yellow legal pad and get this:

It has notes to (and from) his ex-wife from 20 years ago.

“I’ll do the dishes tomorrow… too tired from study,” the pad says in his hand from 2 decades past.

Can you believe this?

And there is a song he wrote, he says he woke up after a dream with the lyrics in his head. He surprised himself by picking up his guitar and playing the damned thing but boy is P unnerved. What the hell?

Do you keep things?

Astrology Short And Sweet - One More On The Taurus Self Esteem

Astrology in real life

small-chocolate-cupcake.jpgOne more on Taurean self esteem, the soldier and my son. Vidroid had their birthdays last week so there has been cake and cupcakes around.

“Who got that last chocolate cupcake?” I asked the soldier. “You or him?”

“Him. I walked and he was shoving it down. You eating that I asked. Yeah, I deserve this he said.”

I just smirked.

Open Question: What Zodiac Has The Most To Teach You? For Me, It’s Taurus

Ask the collective

taurusSpeaking of pulling in people who have qualities you lack, I am attracted to Taurus. I am completely surrounded by them and it is hard to deny the impact they have on my life.

I have learned to commit from them.  I have learned to take my time, to feel good about myself and to just plain last.

Taurus is sturdy. I used to react to flies buzzing ‘round but I have learned to disregard as  flies have such a short life span.

Basically I have learned that the solid chocolate Easter bunny has appeal and sometimes change is really overrated. Most amazing, I have even learned to covet a possession (those dog tags) so how about that?!?

Do you attract people who are remarkably different from you?  What have you learned from them?

Voice Of Taurus - Self Esteem Again…

Astrology in real life

old_folks_home_marker2.jpgSome moons ago the soldier was going regarding his perspective on our relationship. He stated if we did not manage to get together at this time, he was sure we’d just be thrown (by the universe) into the same old folks home where we would meet again.  And if we messed that up, the next life and so forth.

Last night:

“Well we got together so I guess you won’t see me in the old folks home and be able to say I told you so, P.”"Oh, I’ll see you in the old folks home,” he said. “We’ll be in there except they will probably kick you out.”

We both laughed.  ”Because I’m mean?”

“Yeah.  Because you’re mean.  And I’ll be saying, bring her back, bring her back!”

I snorted.

“Yeah, you get her back in here. She’s okay.  She’s a really nice person, she just gets a little fussy sometimes,” he said.

“Good thing you’re without a flaw.  Good, good thing.”

“Yes, my self esteem is so good even I can’t damage it.”

Astrology - Short And Sweet: Taurus, Famous For Their Self Esteem

Astrology in real life

taurusThe soldier was lying around calling himself a lazy hog and bum and so forth. It seemed harsh to me so I asked, “Why do you say that stuff?”

“Don’t worry, P. No one can ruin my self esteem including me.”

Is your self esteem solid?  Got planets in Taurus?

Sun Conjunct Saturn @ 8 Years Old - Mom Sneaks A Peek At Vidroid’s Love, Belle

Astrology in real life

tooth fairyMy son pulled his yearbook from his backpack as I was dropping him at the bus stop yesterday. “Here’s this, I forgot,” he said.

I was surprised but it occurred to me immediately, “Is Belle in here?”

“Yes,” he said blushing.

“Okay, well I want to see her.”He got out of the car with a groan like a normal 8 year old (almost 9, or 10 if he is at school) boy. I pulled up the street a bit and opened the yearbook to see the lovely Belle and well…
