The other night the soldier said he preferred to avoid knowing my secrets, they disturb him. I wrote about that and some others commented they also preferred not to hear other people’s secrets.

Now I can understand because there are some things I don’t want to know anything about, details around my lover’s ex-lover would be an example but a bonafide secret? Man, what could be more tasty than that?

Yeah, I love knowing secrets and I am fortunate as people tell me plenty of them. I just love knowing things I am not supposed to know - Going places I am not supposed to go, etc.

Dear Virgo,

I don’t know what you should do. If you like being the woman some guy feels up behind his girlfriend’s back, well then you’re in! But if you think this is love or something like that, then I would say you’re deluding yourself.

You have a stellium in Virgo with Pluto involved. You are no doubt attracted to the taboo of this situation along with the idea you don’t actually have sex so you keep your “virginity”. But you are past 40 and Saturn is in Virgo, which begs you to grow up, define yourself and face reality.

Is this the kind of adult you want to be? If so carry on. If not, knock it off. Your judgment is the only one that counts.

In spite of my bridge story confusing people, I liked hearing what people had to offer on the Words Of Wisdom - Saturn Types Weigh In blog, plus I got my ya-ya’s and want to try this again… this time let’s see if some 8th house / Scorpio types will talk. I’ll start.

In the gym today I was thinking about how I always end up in the shadow… and how comfortable I am there. If I am going to hang with someone it may as well be a tabloid reporter, a Special Forces solider… more than one. I have written about criminologist, genius and shot-in-the-chest by a whore, Inspector Arie for one and there are others. Point is I am looking for (and offering) to stuff that is hidden or buried deep and not commonly known. The examples are endless, and here is another:

When most people go on a cruise, they go on a cruise. When I go on a cruise I wind up in the guts (the bowels, actually) of the ship, taken there to be interrogated. By an ex-Scotland Yard investigator no less, I don’t mess around.

My daughter was with me that time (Pluto rising in Scorpio). I was nursing her as I calmly, happily and confidently talking into the reel to reel tape recorder. I was born for this after all; I ate that guy’s lunch and I bet he’s still thinking about it.

“You hear from here lately?” I asked.

“Oh yeah. She texts now and then and she left a voice mail… last week sometime I guess. She wants me to call her but I haven’t called.”

“Too busy?”

“Yeah I’m busy but I also haven’t called her. I’m afraid to call her after talking to you,” he said.

Just back from a workshop with Glenn Perry PhD… sort of a spur of the moment thing. Since having children, I don’t attend local astrology meetings so I am out of the loop as far as what is going on locally but I happened to hear of this workshop and couple days ago and immediately decided to attend.

I wanted to go very specifically to see Perry and I could have cared less what the workshop was about. Reason being, the chapter he wrote in, "Sexuality In The Horoscope".

Conversation from my coffee date, except this time we’d met for dinner:

“So in that story, (Little Mike) I was trying to convey something,” I said. “Um… well when you hear on the news about a story like this. A man breaks into a woman’s house and gets in her bed. You have no idea what goes on in that bed. You just assume certain things. Really, I don’t think most people think about it at all. They don’t consider it because it’s something never told. Reading about something like this in the paper, people think, oh. That happened. And the next question is, did they catch the guy or not?”

He agreed.

“Right. Nothing else. What happens in the middle of that is very mysterious. The whole thing is secret. Whatever went on, or goes on during something like this.. no one reports it.”

“That’s true.”

“Yep. It’s just blotted out. And since this happened to me, I wanted to see if I could transfer my exact experience of that to the paper. I was going to try to write down the exact truth of what happened, without regard to politics… or anything at all. If people think I’m stupid… let them judge. It was a challenge at the time. I wanted to see if I could do this. And I did. So people can read that if they want to know about something that’s mysterious… well there it is. They can read it. One person’s experience anyway. Because I know that I like to know things that are mysterious. I mean, why not? I can’t think of anything better to do then know things I’m not supposed to know.”

And what is your Pluto / 8th house / Scorpio situation? Any ties to Mercury?

Dear Scanning.

Yes, absolutely. The astrology is very clear. Uranus transits bring impulse to experiment. The 8th house in a birth chart represents sex among other things and Uranus is currently going into your 8th house. On top of that it will conjunct your Mars (more sex) in Pisces so you’re going to try some new things!

But I don’t want you (or anyone else with an impulse) to worry one bit. So I am going to tell you a story about how this works. Because I have Uranus tied up with the 8th house in my natal chart, and I would know.

When I was 17, I was already a very sexual person. This is my nature. And one day the No-Tel Motel opened in my town. It was a motel where you could rent a room by the hour and it had these porn movies piped in. And this was unheard of back then! This was a pure scandal and the motel was on the news, morning, noon and night. People organized and began to picket the place and when they threatened to burn it down, well that was it! I had to go there. I just haaaaaaad to.

See, I was curious. I was from the desert and I had never seen porn or movies or anything. I grew up without a tv! But also I just wanted to cross a picket line! Uranus wants to defy! Uranus wants to do what Uranus wants to do so after three days of watching this on the news, I couldn’t stand it anymore, so I called up the soldier.

Briiinnnnng! Briiiiiiiiing!

“Hey, man. You know that No-tel Motel?” I asked. “Have you heard of it?’

“Yeah.”

“Well I’m going. Wanna come?”

“Do I want to come? Did you just ask me if I want to…”

We roared laughing and a few hours later we met outside the motel and crossed the picket line together, me with the biggest grin you could possibly imagine. And we rented this room. And you know what?

We turned on the porn and it took me all of two minutes to decide it wasn’t for me. Borrrrrrrrrring! Why would I watch other people have sex when I could have sex myself? That made no sense.

But anyway, here’s the point and it’s a good one. I was 17 when I did that. It was an experiment and anything could have happened. I could have gotten addicted to porn. I might have learned I was a lesbian. I could have turned into a porn star, starting having sex with animals, etc. etc. etc.

Instead I found out via this experiment that while porn is uninteresting to me, taboo is. I also learned that I preferred to focus on an actual flesh man and would be having sex with anyone, anywhere and any time I wanted… picket lines or otherwise, and I remain this way today.

And this is the purpose of Uranus transits. You are supposed to try everything so you can find out what you like. So please. By all means get out there. The only thing that’s going to happen is you’ll find out who you are and this is the best thing in the world. So I say, go out and play! No sense wasting another day.
