Since we are on the subject of synastry (or at least I am) I have thought about this:

The soldier has his north node in Libra in the 7th. With Aries south node in the first… well he is very good at being a soldier. He claims he has been at it for many, many lifetimes and his claim is credible so what’s it going to take to move him towards evolution?

Well my Mars Mercury conjunct lands on his node and what do I do? I constantly yell about manners and being civil, which I admit is ironic since my yelling is beyond merely RUDE. However he is a soldier and he thinks yelling is a fine way to train men.

“My question is: if you have Venus/Neptune and AMF had Venus/Saturn, what happens with the Soldier since he has Venus/Saturn?”

max - I dunno. The situations are very different. The AMF had Venus conjunct Saturn in Scorpio in the 8th. That’s pretty severe. Also his Venus Saturn was in hard aspect (wide orb) to my Venus in Leo.

In contrast the soldier has an inconjunct from Venus to Saturn which is much milder. He also has a sextile between Uranus and Venus and an opposition to Jupiter. His Venus is also tightly sextile mine. So how’s this for an interpretation:

The Saturn plays in that we were separated for an entire Saturn cycle - 28 years. Is that enough delay for ya? Also the commitment we have is profound.

His Venus/ Uranus aspect suits my Uranus in the 7th house(Venus) and Jupiter? Well I was going to make a video about that but suffice to say we both “believe” in love.

Couple this with the easy aspect between the two Venuses and I think we’re looking pretty good.

Now see, that is the kind of thing I would yell at the soldier and he would not know what in the world I was talking about. Seems perfectly obvious to me what I am saying but he would be standing there as he says, “like a hog looking at a wristwatch”. And it would progress like this:

“A dog? What do you mean, a dog?”

I never finished writing about the big fight I had with the soldier and the truck wash and the gay man and the blonde but we were talking about it a couple days ago. Mercury (communication) in aspect to Saturn creates difficulties in this arena.

If you have this in your chart you may feel something is wrong with how you converse. The soldier has these planets in aspect along with Mars (that’s the fight part) but we also have Mars, Mercury and Saturn mashed up between our charts so this is always, always our number one challenge and actually the only one we face…

“Why do we fight like we do?” he asked.

I have heard (and agree) that if you pay attention the first time two people meet, the whole relationship can be told. The energy between the two people mixes that fast and here’s an example.I just found out I was yelling at the soldier on our second date as well. We met for about 10 minutes, I left then sent my roommate to invite him to dinner 10 minutes later.

2 hours after that he was at my apartment eating dinner and 10 minutes after that I got pissed off and kicked him out of the apartment.

We were planning to unload and then go down the street and reload. I’ve helped him do both but never on the same day and I was happy wondering how much work it was going to be.

TripleCappy - You will definitely do better matching people using astrology then you will without it but we are talking about finding THE ONE (I think). And one quirk throws the whole thing off. For example, say there are two astro-twins with whom I am highly compatible. They are exactly the same except for one has dark hair the other, a blonde. Well guess what? You better give me the dark haired one or I am going to pine into eternity so you can see astrology only goes so far. And there is also free will to consider.

The other thing that doesn’t change in my experience, is the way people relate. They synastry is the synastry and although you can grow the synastry is still the synastry.

The soldier and I are one example. We conjure the same feelings in each other as we did when we were kids but he is hardly the only example. My old friend, Kathleen? Same feelings I always had about and around her. Leon?

Well I left Leon’s house in tears more than once. He’s a little older than me and he’s keen and very cutting. He is not malicious but he can really slice you and at 19, I was impossibly sensitive and it would come very suddenly and unexpected. See, we would spar all the time. We would play cards, Leon and I sitting across from each other, our insults flying back and forth the evening’s entertainment. We’d have our respective partners on the floor laughing their heads off and then all the sudden, he’s go too far and I’d be hurt.

This will be an experiment. Last year the soldier and I really started drifting together and eventually the thing gained momentum and then became magnetic the way it is now.

We are both pretty sure once we get together there will be no separating us. I am committed but he thinks this will be true for many, many lifetimes and also that we have nothing to say about it. (A Pisces Perspective)

I don’t know but can’t say I disagree considering I am willing to clobber anyone who gets near him and I am not sure how that feeling would ever stop it is so strongly constellated.  If we had met when we were 4 and 5, I am sure I’d have been kicking sand in the sand box, threatening people with my pail.
