Sun Conjunct Saturn @ 8 Years Old - Family Patterns

Astrology in real life

sun saturnThe friend who betrayed my son earlier this week has apologized and restored the friendship. I am skeptical since this boy has a distinct pattern of becoming very close to my son and then dumping him coldly.

It has never made sense because they hang out together at one house or the other 7 days a week so I always wonder what this kid thinks he’s doing. He is entirely compatible with my son. I have never witnessed conflict of any kind so I have no idea what this kid is acting out but apparently it is something. And I think he is fortunate because my son can transcend but what a baffling situation.

Sun Conjunct Saturn @ 8 Years Old - Mom Sneaks A Peek At Vidroid’s Love, Belle

Astrology in real life

tooth fairyMy son pulled his yearbook from his backpack as I was dropping him at the bus stop yesterday. “Here’s this, I forgot,” he said.

I was surprised but it occurred to me immediately, “Is Belle in here?”

“Yes,” he said blushing.

“Okay, well I want to see her.”He got out of the car with a groan like a normal 8 year old (almost 9, or 10 if he is at school) boy. I pulled up the street a bit and opened the yearbook to see the lovely Belle and well…

Sun Conjunct Saturn @ 8 Years Old - Some Of This Stuff Is Heart Wrenching But…

Astrology in real life

saturnLast night my son was reminiscing and he told me about a time he had no friends…

“So I drew some friends, cut them out and pinned them to my shirt,” he said.

I was stunned. “Did that work? Did it get you some friends?”

“Nope,” he said, not sounding sad.

We were talking about the argument he’d had with his best friend at school. His friend told him he did not want to be friends anymore but I reminded my son he’s been through this with Jesus before and I thought sure they would make up within a couple days.

“You’re at each other’s house almost everyday. I am sure he is going to miss you,” I said.

Happy to report he got off the bus today and said I was a wizard… in fact the friendship was repaired but here’s my point:

Sun Conjunct Saturn @ 8 Years Old - The Pimple

Astrology in real life

vidroidMy son has an honest to God pimple on his face and he is claiming puberty. Don’t tell me he doesn’t want to be grown up.

Personally I was ready to hit the road by the time I was 8. Every single thing I did at that age was geared to this end. I wanted to grow up, get out, go on adventures and think my son is geared the same way.

Can you Capricorn / Saturn types relate? How about you Jupiter / Sagittarius types?

Sun Conjunct Saturn @ 8 Years Old - Venus In Gemini: Do You Have Any Fries?

Astrology in real life

gemini dogsYeah, my son is deep and serious minded but he does have Venus in Gemini.

“Yeah!” he said, telling me a story in animated fashion. “And he was my fri!”

“Your what?”

“He was a fri of mine.”

“A what?” (no Gemini here)

“My fri! That’s like a half a friend,” he explained.

I snorted.

Do you have any fries?

Sun Conjunct Saturn @ 8 Years Old - On Venomous Women, Etc.

Astrology in real life

evil angry witch“She’s an evil angry witch who is never nice to children,” my son explained.

“Ooh. I guess she is,” I said. “I hope I am nice to children. I think I am.”

“Yes, you’re nice. You’re a free-wheeling mother,” he said.

Guess who has Jupiter in aspect to his Moon? Whew! ::wipes brow:: Because the other night he told the soldier I burped.

“Oh for chrissakes, when?” I asked. “How many times have you even heard me burp in your life?”

Astrology And Children: Sun Conjunct Saturn @ 8 Years Old - Believing In Love, What’s The Tooth Fairy Got To Do With It?

Astrology in real life

tooth fairy“Well, he’s 8 years old,” the soldier said regarding Vidroid. “He doesn’t know what we know. We know he’s going to get older, grow up and meet his girl someday. There is a woman out there for him, you know it and I know it.”

“I do know that.”

“So do I but what does he know? What’s he got to believe in? All he’s got is the Tooth Fairy at this age, so okay. He’ll believe in the Tooth Fairy then. The Tooth Fairy is a beautiful girl and she’s magic. She makes you feel good. She’s what you’ve got so you believe in her..”

Astrology And Children: Sun Conjunct Saturn @ 8 Years Old - Rejected By A Girl

Astrology in real life

saturn“Oh, it’s terrible,” I said, “Vidroid got rejected by a girl at school today. A girl he likes.”

The soldier groaned.

“Yeah, it was bad. Apparently his friend was trying to fix him up. He said, hey. Vidroid likes you. Do you like him? And the girl stood there. Er… no.”

“Gah.”

“Yeah, he really felt bad. He was decimated. He feels like shit… he feels horrible.”

Sun Conjunct Saturn @ 8 Years Old - Valentine’s Day

Astrology in real life

valentineWith his Sun, Moon and Ascendant in Venus-ruled signs, Love Day is a big deal to my son. He has made elaborate plans to deliver his valentines to his peers.

“Do you have a valentine this year?” I asked this morning.

“No, I’m a bachelor right now,” he said.

“Um… you like it?”

“Yeah, it’s okay.”

Sun Conjunct Saturn @ 8 Years Old - Venus Ruled But Beware The Scorpio Mars

Astrology in real life

barbie valentineI should be embarrassed by this but instead I am amused which just proves I am a psycho-mom I suppose. But my son who is a Taurus with a Libra Moon and rising (all Venus) went to his friend’s house yesterday to do his Valentine’s Day cards for school. Why do them alone, right? Libra.

I picked him up later in the evening and he comes running out to the car with “Jesus”, his partner in crime.

Getting in the car he gleefully informs me that while he is giving away Spiderman with pencils valentines this year, the boys who he really, really, really hates are getting Barbie and Bratz valentines, which he got off one of his friend’s sisters.

Psycho Mom laughed slightly and wondered what to do. Tell him it’s not nice? He knows it’s not nice that’s why he’s planned it. I know my son has a long fuse… the boys must deserve it.

But in the morning, sanity prevailed. He is opting to give the boys nothing rather than the girl valentines and I am sure this is the better choice though it’s worthy to note he’s got this in him. Reminds me of someone else I know… now what was her name again?
