Sun Conjunct Saturn Has To Earn Their Self Esteem… Or Be A Jerk!
Astrology in real life
One of the reasons I fight these issues around, Vid is I think the quality of his life depends on it. I am pretty sure he agrees with me although this is still very harsh in practice.
Vid has his Sun conjunct Saturn. This means he has to earn his self esteem. I think this is true for all but certainly true for Sun conjunct Saturn.

Sun Conjunct Saturn @ 10 Years Old: The Lie
Astrology in real life
My son, Vidroid is a year ahead in school. He was once rejected for being 7 so took to lying about his age when he was 8. He lied for two years.
While I don’t approve, I do understand and our family was in such crisis at the time I knew he was just trying to deal with his problems. My son has phenomenal character so I supported his lie when necessary. For example, I called his teacher on this birthday to make sure when they sang to him in class, the sang the wrong age. This year he switched schools.

Sun Conjunct Saturn @ 9 Years Old: The Kid’s Got Boundaries
Astrology in real life
Today we went out to get something special for Vid’s girl he likes. This is his gal pal from 1st and 2nd grade. The soldier teases his about Belle all the times… says he needs a t-shirt that says I HEART BELLE in pictures. You know. I picture of and eye, a picture of a heart and a picture of a bell. Vid snorts… pays him no mind. It’s Melanie who has his heart now so we went shopping for the girl.

Pluto Transit To The Moon - Mine: More Of The End Game / Saturn Conjunct Sun @ 9 Years Old
Astrology in real life
And here’s a strange thing but I think it’s happy. Long term readers know I sprung a therapist on my son at the peak of my daughter’s illness. Under relentless strain trying to care for my daughter I knew my son was falling through the cracks so I contacted the school counselor and asked her to help.
She agreed, called him into her office and boy was he mad at me! He didn’t a counselor, see? He didn’t make the decision and long story short it was a big mistake and now two years have passed.

Neptune: More On The Projection… Mistaken Identity, Etc.
Astrology in real life
After writing (in the comments) about how at times people mistake me as something or the other and then become incensed when it’s revealed to them I am not who they think they are and reading the responses I got to thinking some more about this.
The one gal I was referencing who went absolutely insane over my lack of hatred for of strippers and whores and the men who frequent them, clearly thought based on reading my blog for a month or two (?) that I was akin to her. You know. She thought she could rely on me to be a kindred spirit and I think we were to a large extent. To a very large extent. But then we hit on this one issue and she just went ballistic.

Sun Conjunct Saturn @ 9 Years Old - “I’m So Old..”
Astrology in real life
I was dropping Vidroid at the bus stop this morning all disheveled courtesy narcotic drugs. Pulling up at the curb I mindlessly told him to have a great day only to have him laugh out loud.
“I’m so old and you still call me such stupid names,” he said.
“Stupid names? What did I call you? Did I just call you a name?”
“Sugar,” he said, rolling his eyes with an amused grin. “It’s okay, Mom. It’s not stupid. That’s not a stupid name.”
See how nice my kid is to me?

Sun Conjunct Saturn @ 9 Years Old - Mediation Breakthrough With Dora Interlude
Astrology in real life
Now keep in mind Vidroid is a Sun Saturn in the 8th house kid and when he initially sat us down he said he was a therapist. He then changed his mind (Libra) and said instead he was a cop.
In whatever case, he was the authority figure and he had one hell of a lot of power assimilated.

Astrology Today: Violent Polarization
My eye on the sky
The Moon is in Scorpio is in easy aspect to the Sun and Saturn in Virgo which offers the opportunity to infuse your work with depth of feeling. There is a marked seriousness here though, make no mistake.
Jupiter is also exactly trine the Sun and Saturn so commit to your plans to the future and ready yourself to take the first (or the next) steps.
I can’t sign off without referencing the Venus, Mercury, Mars conjunction in Libra because it’s just so remarkable. This country (the United States) is violently polarized at the moment and that Libra is just shakin’ like a leaf unable to pick a side.

Vidroid And His Quirky Aquarian Friend: Worse, Much Worse
Catch up here - How My Son Became A Man
Vidroid started 3rd grade and when he did, something inside him had shifted like a gear. Whatever gear he had been in before he was now in 5th and he was driven to stay there. I really have never seen anything like it. It was as if he woke up one day and decided he was going to kick ass. HE decided he was going to raise his bar as high, High, HIGH as it could go and this is how he was going to live from now on. From day one of 3rd grade, Vidroid was a model student. (swearing below the break)
