I am still writing the double Scorp that popped up, taking full advantage to speak openly, with total candor. It occurred to me today I have heard people say, “I don’t have any secrets.”

I doubt this is true, everyone has a skeleton somewhere but I am pretty some of us carry far more secrets than others.

Also do you think there are different qualities of secrets - say a dark secret (Pluto) as compared to something you have obscured (Neptune) or are these the same thing?

Capricorn would probably have the worst time because they are the most concerned for their public image. I think Scorpio would fare best.

The betrayal would sting Scorpio and the perpetrator would be amputated completely and permanently from the life. But I don’t think they’d be all that bothered over what came out. Because I don’t think you’d get at Scorpio’s actual dirty laundry. Their stained things, maybe. But their actual dirty laundry? Forget about it.

So is the very clean Hugh Grant… who was caught cheating on his model girlfriend with a whore, Divine Brown. Whoops!

How are these for examples of secret lives?

And don’t go jumping on this because there are other, classier examples. For example, Virgo, Sophia Loren. Years ago when a reporter yelled at her, “Hey Sophia! What are you doing with that old man?” (Carlo Ponti)

The other night the soldier said he preferred to avoid knowing my secrets, they disturb him. I wrote about that and some others commented they also preferred not to hear other people’s secrets.

Now I can understand because there are some things I don’t want to know anything about, details around my lover’s ex-lover would be an example but a bonafide secret? Man, what could be more tasty than that?

Yeah, I love knowing secrets and I am fortunate as people tell me plenty of them. I just love knowing things I am not supposed to know - Going places I am not supposed to go, etc.

Someone emailed me a link to an article… the title of the email was, “Blah blah blah sent from this person,” a name I recognize and trust.

I scanned the article and mailed back a thanks and then told one of my secrets.

” And matter of fact I used to do this for these people undercover. No one knows this,” I added before I hit send and sent the thing to the newspaper which was the return address.

Ha ha ha.

Thank God no one cares about my secrets… um, do they?

I hope like hell whoever doesn’t write me back! Eeeek.

I am not sure I got this into the Soldier and P story but there was a point when we were kids I really wanted to know what Special Forces was. I had no earthly idea and most oddly, either did the soldier.

Now that may seem hard to believe but it was the case. He just turned up one day and said this was what he was going to do. He said that it was what he wanted to do and what knew that he had to do but he had little explanation as to anything else, like why. He could not seem to communicate how this even got in his head and most particularly he could provide no details as to exactly what a Special Forces soldier was or did.

Dina - our perceptions are so different. I talk about my life non-stop on this blog. I keep some things secret (or private) for a variety of reasons which generally speaking, I reveal.

“Christmas-y ones.” He named two movies. I can’t remember which but both rated G. “And then I started watching Mary Poppins but I fell asleep for that one.”

“I watched movies too,” I said. “Not Christmas type - movies from my secret life instead.”

Interesting. I am only partly aware of why I keep so much from the soldier. If I told you my reasons they would be valid but they would also be surface like the tip of the iceberg. And I don’t think I am going to have time this lifetime to visit this at any depth but I can tell you this: The things I keep from him are strange and I keep them from him and only him.

Now this is a Venus Neptune thing - I conceal my tastes from him. I never pick a movie for example. We watch his movies only (80% war and 20% love stories). He would be happy to watch any movie I’d choose but I refuse to choose a movie for what it would reveal.

In contrast, my ex, the AMF and I would watch movies all the time. We’d see two or three a week at least and I would pick virtually every one of them. Go figure.
