The Stellium In Capricorn… Personally Speaking: The Little Match Girl

Astrology in real life

The stellium does fall in my 12th house and I feel, Little Match Girl-esque. A 12th house full of Capricorn is a Saturn Neptune exchange. I already have a strong Saturn Neptune signature natally now exacerbated by the current sky and it’s really something to behold.

I can kiss reality goodbye, that’s for sure but what about that Little Match Girl? What does she do exist so that others may think and feel things that have nothing to do with her?. And what is her problem anyway? Her problem is not defined. Her reality is not defined.

Reality surrounds her (it’s cold!) but it is irrelevant even as it takes her life.

Pluto Transit To The Moon - Mine: Hard To Kill

Astrology in real life

reeve-nothing-is-impossible.jpgYesterday I wrote about Christopher Reeve, a man so buoyant that even when he’s dead, he’s still - UP. I mean, it’s just impossible to think of the guy and end on a down note.

Lupa came on and said that like me, she could access happiness via focusing on the feeling of the sun on her skin and credited her natal Saturn in Pisces (A Saturn Neptune exchange).

Well my daughter has Saturn in Pisces. She also has Jupiter in Sagittarius trine a 9th house Moon and I am telling you that girl is not going down. Anyway you turn it, she is a streak across the sky and it occurs to me with Pluto retrograde applying in aspect to my Moon that my daughter is one of those people (like Christopher Reeve) who never really die. Oh, maybe in a 100 years but you get the idea. My daughter is UP.

henryShe is up and even when she is down she is actually up, I think she gets it from her Mom.

(Her Mom gets it from Henry.)

Does he look dead in that picture? Of course not.

Up! Up, Up, Up!

Are you hard to kill or do you know someone who is? Give us the astrology…

Saturn, Neptune And The Denial Of Reality - What Happens When The Veil Lifts?

Astrology in real life

bug.gifI have a strong Saturn / Neptune signature in my chart. It is chronically and constantly in play… I have to cope with a constantly appearing and disappearing reality as as attuned and aware of this as I may be, sometimes things happen that truly boggle.

Saturn rules fear and mixed with Neptune (Saturn in Pisces, Saturn in the 12th, Saturn and Neptune in aspect, Saturn in the 10th etc.), hologram fear is always part of the picture.

On the flip side a person will deny or erase their fear and it is quite a phenomena when you witness it up close.  The veil lifting that is. The veil that separates a person from reality, that is.  Last night I was lying in bed with the soldier, chatting.

“Squash me like a bug,” I said.  “Oh no. You could squash me like a bug if you wanted to.”

Ungrounded Woman Wonders How To Get In Her Body: Saturn Return In Virgo

Dear Elsa,

You’ve been talking about Saturn moving into Virgo and the health-conscious aspect of it. I have the hardest time all of my life getting in the groove with an exercise program, or feeling at all ‘at home’ with my body. I have natal Saturn in Virgo and well… I’m pretty sure that’s the only earth in my chart.

I was wondering what you recommend to us folks with very little earth in our chart who are having a heck of a time finding a way to feel grounded in our bodies and to exercise. I feel like something is seriously wrong with me on this front.

Saturn in Virgo
United States

virgo bottleDear Saturn,

The idea something is ‘seriously wrong with you” is harsh criticism and a textbook manifestation of Saturn in Virgo. Yes, Saturn in Virgo is the only earth in your chart - which means it is enormously important you be put in touch with it which is what this transit will accomplish.

And I wouldn’t worry about how this is going to occur because it’ll just happen and when it does, rejoice. Because denying this part of you is as bad for your soul as denying creativity or emotion or sex drive or anything else.

Specific to exercise, it can be gotten in many forms. Forms like dancing. Dancing is fluid and expressive and a great body is byproduct of that. There is fun exercise (roller skating) and exercise that is meditative (walking or yoga). There is exercise where the challenge or sense of accomplishment is the thing (mountain climbing). Point being you don’t have to focus on exercise, per se. You can sneak up on it or let it sneak up on you.

Good luck.

Astrology and Edgar Cayce’s Learning By Osmosis

Astrology in Real Life…

edgar cayceEdgar Cayce came up when cj wrote on the Confused Control Freak blog:

Elsa, puting the book near/under your head to get the info via osmosis is straight from Edgar Cayce! I do it myself sometimes, I think it works. Edgar Cayce slept on his books as a boy and learned his schoolwork that way. He quit after awhile, I forget why, probably thought it was cheating or something.

Well here is his chart, you can see a larger version and read his bio on astrologyweekly.com

I looked for this because I wanted to see if he had a Saturn Neptune exchange and he does. He has Saturn in Pisces (Neptune’s sign) conjunct Mercury so the idea he could learn and absorb information via magic is no stretch at all.

And the reason I wanted to check this is because I know that people learn astrology from me and it’s something that just happens. I can’t count how many people have told me they stumbled on my blog (I have kept one since 2001) and contacted me with these type stories….

“At first I thought you were crazy but then…”

“I used to read because I hated your guts but then…”

“Well I liked your stories but I couldn’t stand that you put astrology in them but then…”

All these people wound up learning astrology as does everyone I meet in real life. They don’t intend to. As a matter of fact most the people I meet in real life are dead set against astrology but a year or two down the road the words have become part of their vernacular and they are really quite shocked.

So I am a Saturn Neptune type and I think this is why this happens. Sit next to me and unbeknownst to you, you’ll learn what I know. I will also learn what you know by the way. It’s very cool.

Anyone else experience this?
