I wrote this in 2004. It’s my sister and I on the phone, close to 20 years ago. We’re talking about a man I was dating and my yet-to-be-born daughter who my sister had seen psychically.

The man has his Sun, Mercury, Venus, Saturn and the Black Moon Lilith in Scorpio, some of that square Pluto rising in Leo.  More astrology sprinkled throughout.

The man is an actor and a singer and a very talented one at that. “XXXXX” is my sister’s husband at the time. I never liked him so I blotted out his name in all my stories.  He was also a Scorpio.

SaDiablo asked the same and while I am not going to tell you because I think it would invade his privacy, I will tell you the story that the soldier told me, 30 years ago.

He was about 10 years old, walking about the way he does and found a branch lying on the ground. He picked up and started walking with it, all the sudden he could see and feel all kinds of stuff. He put it down of course, but then picked it up, put it down, picked it up. He soon found he could do all kinds of things holding one of these branches and he began to experiment with it.

What he found out was that other branches sucked. It was only this one type wood that worked well so he stuck with it but then he moved. And when he moved, he moved out of the country and there were no more branches of this type wood to be found.

There are two things I know a lot about which they do not teach you in Special Forces: Astrology and body language. As most of you know the soldier is inordinately psychic and he uses a device to enhance his ability.

He lost one of these things when we visited the desert (left it in the hotel room) which was tragic because he’s had that particular piece for more about 15 years and if left him with just his one spare which he misplaced Friday night.

The spare did not turn up overnight so yesterday he had no choice but to go buy a new thing because he can’t go long without accessing this other world. He had some concern because they are simply not making the object he likes to use the way they used to (they use a different material) but sure enough he did find a new device and I am telling you he has been happy as shit since.

On Thursday we were cookin’ here. We have a swamp cooler that fits in the window and apparently the switch broke because it would no longer run on the high setting. “What is that?” I asked the soldier. “It seems pretty queer to me. It runs fine on low, and I flip this up and it continues to run but still on low? How did we lose our high setting and don’t you think it’s strange? Seems to me it would work at all but it just plays on low regardless.”

He explained it was probably the switch gone bad. He called it a 2-way blah blah and said he could probably replace it or if not, fix it somehow. That was late in the evening.

“I’m shaky,” I said. “I’m getting nervous and jerky, I feel shaky.”

“Do you feel like you did after we met the first time and I was coming over for dinner that night?”

I gasped. ‘Yes! Oh my God, it’s just like that. It is that, how did you know? Can you feel this? Can you feel what I feel right now?”

“im,” he said which means yes.

“I’ll be damned.”

“Yep, that’s what that is.”

“It’s not that’s comfortable. I feel really, really shaky. I feel almost sick. I am shook.”

I was telling the soldier a story, he was holding his antenna (psychic) which he does sometimes. He did not seem to be listening to me all that much. I ignored his inattention until it was just totally obvious he was elsewhere.

“What is it?” I asked.

“Nothing,” he said, red-faced.

“Liar. Why are you lying to me?” I asked.

“I’m not lying to you,” he said, lying.

I spoke with HQ over the weekend and he asked me if I thought mediums were real. Apparently he’d run across some medium who said not only were they fake. They said every medium they knew was a fake.

Now I don’t know about mediums… people who specifically contact the dead. I have never met anyone who could do it, but I absolutely know people who are “psychic” and I wonder how people think this shows up in chart.

Most notable in my life… psychic beyond a shadow of a doubt would be my sister who always credited her Sun in Pisces trine Neptune for her ability. She also has Mercury in Pisces which I would think denotes the ability to get information from ethereal sources.

The soldier is also wildly psychic. He has a Scorpio Moon conjunct Neptune tightly inconjunct Mercury.

My son has a grand cross in his solar return this year and has really been under the gun. He surprised me last night when he said, “Ever since my birthday…”

He went on to explain how particularly hard things have been since he turned 8 and all I could do was nod and commiserate because facts are facts. He then surprised me by telling me he had been having prophetic dreams.

He said he dreams something and two days later the things happens. He expressed a sort of ambivalence over the situation. On one hand I think he knows this is special, on the other hand most of the things he is dreaming that wind up happening are bad. Pretty heavy for an 8 year old, I’d say.
