Open Question: Is The Apocalypse Coming? What Do You Think Will Happen In The Next Few Years?

Ask the collective

the_four_horseman_of_the_apocalypse.jpgLast night Busted posed some questions on the Paul Newman blog in regards to Venus Neptune type stuff. That is Judge Roy Bean was in love with Lillie Langtry who he’d never met. I thought the questions were interesting but responded saying I could not get my mind on it because the soldier and I had spent the day “making plans for the apocalypse”.

Del asked if I knew something others did not and I said, no. “I just like to talk about this stuff and so does he.” And when I initiated the conversation it went like this:

Heads Up To Virgo In 2008-2009 - Birthday To Birthday, It’s One Hell Of A Year Ahead

Astrology in real life

VirgoVirgos are going to have one hell of year.  By year, I mean solar year, from birthday, 2008 until birthday 2009.  Reason being most will have Saturn conjunct their Sun in their solar return but even more compelling, ruler Mercury will be in Libra conjunct Venus and Mars.

Now translated, I’d say this is going to transform all Virgo’s into leaders over the next year. These solar return charts are very Cardinal and if you are a Virgo you will be taking charge and further it will be your responsibility to do exactly that.  You just don’t get dealt cards like this by accident, you must play them.

On top of what I have already mentioned there is support for the Sun and Saturn from Jupiter in Capricorn and anyone who is willing to work is going to be rewarded and probably richly.

As to how you will feeeeel about this, that depends on the Moon in the chart (the day you were born) along with you basic nature so it is variable but that stuff up there is correct and hard core - Mark my words.

Can any Virgos feel this coming?

Outtakes and various other sundries

Carl writes:

“If you are a McCain supporter, you might want to skip this post … completely.

In my opinion, John McCain’s electoral chart(s) are … well … pretty awful. The bad aspects are glaringly and unequivocally bad. It is hard to “go easy” on McCain. Even a restrained reading comes out sounding pretty bad…”

Astrology, Violence and the Collective’s Defense Against Reality: Predicting Pluto In Capricorn

Ask the Collective…

saturn reality checkOkay, let’s change the subject! Did you know there is no such thing a (violent) crime of passion? Up until 1980 it was widely believed that people went crazy and committed violent acts. They were out of their mind and this thing happened. They killed someone or whatever. Many people still believe this and if I ever sit on a jury with one of them I will be able to disabuse them of this notion because I am familiar with the Lonnie Athens work.

In the late 70’s Lonnie Athens ran around and interviewed violent criminals in prison and one of the things he discovered was that they knew exactly what they were doing. And I admire Athens. It’s not anyone who can just waltz into a prison and get these dudes to talk to them with any kind of candor. As a matter of fact, Athens risked his life for this research which he published in 1980 in his book, "The Creation Of Dangerous Violent Criminals".

Turns out the thought process that leads a violent criminal to commit the act does not vary from criminal to criminal. When talking about their crimes, the offenders all sound like this:

“Well at first I was just going to do x,y, and z, bust him/her up a little…”

and then they shift, finding justification for what they are about to do:

“But then she did a, b, c… “ or “But then I started thinking about last week or last month…”

And they come to their conclusion.

“And at that point I decided I should just kill him/her…”

neptuneIt is shocking how utterly cognizant these people are of what they are doing, especially when you contrast it with the “crime of passion” idea which it turns out is a big myth!

I imagine (Neptune) that the idea of people committing violent crimes in some kind of altered state it is our collective (Pluto) defense (Saturn) against reality (Saturn).

I also think as Saturn moves out from it’s opposition with Neptune, we will become aware of these type defenses and when Pluto goes into Capricorn they will fall.

What do you think?

Saturn in Leo Transit Through the 7th House: Mathematics Of Marriage and Composite Charts - Predicting Divorce

Just Blathering…

zodiac game horoscopeStill on this topic, with Saturn transiting my 7th house (relationships), I am learning about how people relate. And I didn’t mean to, but I came across the name, John Gottman who is a psychologist who wrote among other things, “The Mathematics of Marriage”.

Now this guy studied the hell out of relationship in an effort to be able to predict who would divorce and who would not with very limited data.

And he came up with a super effective formula. If he listens to a couple talk about *anything, for an hour, he can predict with 95% accuracy if they will be married or divorced within 15 years. If he listens for just 15 minutes, he can still predict this with 90% accuracy.

Now eventually he got so good at this, he found he could eavesdrop on a couple eating dinner in a restaurant and have a pretty good idea where they were headed.

In short, he found that marriages have a sort of DNA. In other words, the way we relate to another is hardwired! And in terms of astrology, this is very interesting.

I thought of the composite chart as the DNA of a relationship. Because it’s my experience if you are hooked up with someone, the composite chart is inescapable. For beginners, a composite chart is a chart of the relationship between two people.

And I just thought it was cool science is making now making the same kind of claims astrologers are punished for. That is, that these things are predictable! And I don’t know why this makes people so uncomfortable.

Personally, I’d just as soon have this guy listen to me talk to my lover and tell me in advance the relationship was going nowhere! That it was not going to satisfy!

And if he said, “You two are very fortunate,” I would like that as well! In whatever case, I think this is enormously interesting and what do you think?

How do you feel about a guy being able to predict the future of your relationship after sharing lunch with you and your partner?

What about an astrologer looking at a few charts and doing same?
