I spoke with pal and astrologer, Claire-France Perez last night. She always leaves me feeling good and usually manages to shock me as well by offering her perspective on my life which always seems inordinately advanced to me.

Now cf is an intellectual, just look at her website. But atypical of the type she has a deep appreciation for what I am and what I do which is anything but intellectual. You could compare it to a light-skinned woman appreciating the beauty or a dark-skinned woman and vice versa. In real life this is rare. You’ve got to stretch to do it.

Now I know I have asked this question on this blog a few times… “Do people change?” I won’t ask again since I already about half of you think people change but I just don’t see it. I don’t see it over a year’s time, 10 years time or even 30 years time.

Further, I think the character is set in early childhood. For example I don’t expect my son or my daughter to ever be any different then they already are. So my perspective, not only is the idea you can change someone in the short term ridiculous, I would say you’ll not change someone if you had 30 years to work them over.
