Astrology And Fashion By Zodiac Sign ~~ Annalisa

Outtakes and various other sundries

After a career in dance and modeling, not to mention producing couture fashion shows, I have made all sorts of discoveries regarding astro signs and dressing. What are you dressing? Your rising? Your sun? Your moon? A stellium? Or a combination of a few places in your chart? My own formula for dressing is at the bottom of this piece.

Aries:

If an Aries can be bothered with fashion at all, it’s going to be power dressing or dressing for action. Pants wearers more often than not, they often throw on what is there and what is clean, (let’s hope.) The fashionable sweat suit set is not wasted on them neither are yoga clothing, tights and the like. Speed is key.

If an Aries can gain power from dressing they will dress very carefully to gain that advantage and a good example of this is Bette Davis. Most often an Aries will attempt to stay thin or be thin from running and knocking down doors. I suggest Aries consider what will take them to the next level they are trying to reach and dress accordingly. I also suggest that they dress better than they are because the throwing on of clothes can give the wrong impression quickly.

Saturn Opposite Uranus: People Divided - Might Bloggers Be Boycotted Over Political Ads Served By Google?

Ask the collective

mccain-obama.jpgI first time someone told me they were disturbed by a political ad on my blog (for McCain) I was surprised. But now it has happened 3 times (most recently on Astro Dispatch - check it out).

In all three cases the person who complained said the ad (all of these were McCain ads) interfered with their ability to enjoy content. I am just blown away by this.

Do people know that google serves the ads - the blogger does not select them? Will people boycott their favorite blogs over an ad served by google?

Fascinating and terrifying.

What do you think?

Pluto Direct In Sagittarius - Speaking Of Obsessive Beliefs, The Violent Polarization Over The US Election And The Horrible Effect On Libra

Astrology in real life

libraIt’s killer out there for someone like me. For one thing I have gifted / cursed with Libra and I have no choice at all but to see both sides of any issue. If you have Libra yourself, I expect you understand but if not try to understand there are people out there who find it almost impossible to pick a side. Family feud? Libra see that both Mom and Sis have a point. Further when people like me encounter your extreme position we feel pretty near compelled to counter it. To move you toward the opposite pole in order to balance things.

Well let me tell you something. Pull a Libra move today and you’re liable to get nuked. People think what they think and if you say anything even remotely counter it, they immediately grab a hammer and begin beating you with it.

Astrology, News And Publishing Post Pluto’s Transit Of Sagittarius

Astrology in real life

obama.jpgThis morning I updated the soldier on the news around Obama’s choice for Vice President. As I mentioned, we both think the choice of VP is going to be critical in the election.

“Hilary does not seem to be on the screen at all,” I said. “As to what is being reported.”

“Hmm.”

“Thing is, we really have no idea what is going on. They do not report in actual news. The job is to put something up there that provokes people, and whether or not it’s based in reality is irrelevant. Just churn something out and next day, do it again. It’s come to a point where it’s pointless to read the news, it’s pretty much meaningless.”

“It’s as bad here as it has been in the UK and their press is notorious…”

This is where I think we are post Pluto’s rout through journalism (Sagittarius). There is no way to get real news at the moment. There is no standard, ethics or any other damned thing.

Do you agree or no? Is there a news source you trust? (And by the way, who is your pick for VP to Obama?)

Open Question: Who Will Win The 2008 US Presidential Election?

Ask the collective

obama-mccain.jpgThe soldier and I were discussing the 2008 Presidential election the other night and yesterday I spoke with Jacquie Bigar on the subject. Now I know one astrologer who feels that Obama will win by a landslide but the soldier, Jacquie and I all feel the choice for Vice President is absolutely critical in this election. So here is 3-part question:

What pairing would make the strongest democratic ticket? How about the republican ticket? And ultimately…

Who Will Win The 2008 Presidential Election?
