I guess it is hard for some people to understand how someone like me who does not like attention could write a blog like this. Fact is this is actually a NON attention job. I mean, I work at home and do one on one consultations. I am complete unseen save the videos which are not real.

I mentioned on the boards I avoided the big astrology conference in Denver last year for one reason and one reason only: I knew I’d be recognized. Had I been able to go and fly under the wire I’d have been there but those days are gone.

I am doing the year ago posts and came across this… one of my very early videos (circa August 2007) It’s about a client I never had.

“Yes, if I lose another friend ultimately you will be blamed. Yep. Not at first. At first they will be mad at me but then they’ll think about it. Yeah, I liked that Elsa and I had not problems getting along with her until HEEEEEEEEEEE came around! Heeee ruined her!”

The soldier laughed and I smirked.

“Yeah, it’s just human nature. It’s not their fault so it’s got to be mine but eventually I get thrown up… I get elevated somehow and they look for someone or something to blame. But in this case, they won’t be looking very long or very hard because you’re standing right here,” I said with a wink. (swearing below the break)

Y’all know how much I love to talk about the Hall Of Mirrors and the Pisces, Neptune saint / sinner phenomena is related and just as interesting. Yesterday I did the video about how I would defend myself and my family using violence. Typically this kind of aggressiveness is frowned upon, particularly if it’s a woman. I wrote about this in the comments.

When I took that self defense class, stories were told of women who fended off rapists in real life. Maybe they talked their way out or in one case there was a local woman who used one of the techniques taught in the class. She got the guy off her when he was already on top her, raping her and you might note that this meant she was clearly acting in self defense.

Now those women were held up as heroes but what about the woman (me) who sees the man in her bedroom, knows he intends to harm her and shoots him in the head before he can act? I guess she’s a cold-hearted bitch. I guess she is hard core, she’s probably crazy and this makes no sense.

Yesterday I walked into the living room just as the soldier who was watching TV, burst out in a loud guffaw. “What is it?” I asked. “What are you watching?”

“Our life,” he said. “It’s our life on here.”

I never watch TV but I walked around to glance at the screen. 50 First Dates was on.

“Oh yeah,” I said. I am sorry about that.”

The other night, “closure” came up and soldier said something unusual which he does from time to time.

“I don’t know what closure is,” he said. “Who gets closure? You almost never get closure. If you do get closure then fine but I’d never go looking for it. I’m going to try to get some closure. The concept makes no sense. I don’t know who comes up with this stuff…”.

Now as a Venus Neptune type, I know exactly what he means. Nothing ever ends. There is no way to close anything because you never know when a person is going to pop up in real life, your thoughts, your dreams, in conversation, in a poem, in a song…

But I had never heard it stated so plainly and thought it was a boon so I’m sharing the bounty. It seems that looking for “closure” is aka wasting your time so I am done with that as of today.

“I saw Dora see herself in the mirror the other day and she was taken aback,” the soldier said. “She couldn’t believe what she looked like.”

“No?”

“No and when she saw me come up behind, she really knew it was her and she looked even sadder. Who is that googly-eyed dog?”

“Oh no.”

“Yeah, she always thought she looked like, Lassie. She thought she had hair flowing in the sky like, Lassie, he said,” waving his fingers alongside his face. “She was none too happy, I’ll tell you that.”
