The Secret Lives Of Virgo: They All Have Them! Appealing or Otherwise

Just Blathering…

loren sophiaSpeaking of the secret lives of Virgo, disgraced politician, Mark Foley is a Virgo.

So is Michael Jackson.

So is the very clean Hugh Grant… who was caught cheating on his model girlfriend with a whore, Divine Brown. Whoops!

How are these for examples of secret lives?

And don’t go jumping on this because there are other, classier examples. For example, Virgo, Sophia Loren. Years ago when a reporter yelled at her, “Hey Sophia! What are you doing with that old man?” (Carlo Ponti)

“None of your business!” she yelled back.

Venus in Aspect To Pluto: “Somebody Kill Me Please”

Astrology in real life

Since SaDiablo inspired me with her comment on the Betty video, here is another song for Venus square Pluto, “Somebody Kill Me Please”. Notice Mars is in Libra and he says please!

For the record, this one of the songs the soldier has for how he felt when we broke up as kids. He brings it out when I tell him he left me and I pretty much shut up. You can get a hit on Jupiter in Capricorn here too - This guy’s misery is funny!

Venus Square Pluto: Betty Everett - Getting Mighty Crowded

Outtakes and various other sundries…

With Venus squaring Pluto some are finding themselves in relationship triangles. This does not mean it’s nasty, for example the soldier, his son and I are triangulated at the moment with good result. However some of you are not faring as well so take this lesson from my gal, Betty if you need too. And keep in mind the other entity is not necessarily another woman. Could be porn… cocaine, his mother… you get the idea. ;)

Scott Leather Writes: On The “IT” in “ART”

Outakes and Various Other Sundries…

Scott writes:

steinwayA common dilemma facing all artists is how much effort do you put in regarding the details at the expense of the underlying communication of the work? Or, in other words, one can get so caught up in perfecting every detail that one loses sight of the original intention and energy of the
work.

In my field of classical piano playing, this is a very common malady. There are literally scores of competent musicians out there that can do a respectable job of performing what are frightfully long and complicated works. Performing these things requires extended study for most of us, difficult memorization and intense practice and concentration to perfect.

“Don’t Call Me Buckwheat!”

Ask the collective

A few blogs ago, Tam called me Libra prompting me to play Tam this song of one of my favorite artists of all time, Garland Jeffreys, Don’t Call Me Buckwheat. If you don’t see the humor in this you are wound way to tight for this blog but anyway my son went back to school today. I have a couple more days of catching up and the I am going to get back on videos and I am going to start by defending Libra! For now, you can listen to Jeffreys and there is a question below…

What should they NOT call you?
(and let’s hope you don’t describe your 7th (projected) house.. ::snicker::)

The Saturn Return Of The Soldier And P - Love And War: Humbling… Crystalline

Astrology in real life

twin red-hearts.jpgThe soldier and I watched the war movie over the weekend, nothing like hearing the blow by blow from someone who was there. “What were you thinking here?” I could ask this kind of stuff and get an answer. Plus he’s so candid. He does not give me the pc version but the real version and by the time the movie ended I was somewhat stunned and I was very freakishly humbled.

Now this might sound like I am some sort of arrogant over-inflated freak but if it does, I don’t think you get my meaning. Of course that right there might serve as more evidence of my arrogance so some of you can see I am damned if I do, and damned if I don’t but I feel like doing… offering this, so I am going to.

Mercury in Aries vs Mercury in Libra With Mars Involved: “Hit The Road, Jack!”

Astrology in real life

Speaking of dumping, last night I was pitching my usual bitch about how the soldier left me and married someone else he’d known for of 2 weeks! If you wonder why this keeps coming up, it’s because it keeps coming up.

For example those pictures. There we are and a blink later, there he is married with child. It’s whiplash, there is just no other word for it far as I am concerned but he has a different view or in this case - song. According to him this is what happened. “I was just like poor ol’ Ray,” he said.

He’s right of course. He is right and I’m right too but anyway, it’s a good song with good astrology. Bossy commitment-phobia anyone?

Open Question: Music That Soothes Your Soul

Ask the collective

henryWhile writing the bit about the soldier and his martial music, it occurred to me my grandfather, Henry also used to listen to music in the morning specifically to set the tone for his day.

Henry was a peaceful man who did not raise his voice even once in 50 years. With five planets and his north node in Sagittarius, he was a contemplative man focused on spiritual and philosophical things in the habit of taking an hour each morning to sit in the “sun room” of his house each morning and listen to an hour of classical music before heading outside to work sun up to sun down in double Capricorn style. He said the beautiful music soothed his soul and to look at him, you’d have to believe it.

I think the soldier gets the same effect listening to his martial music…. he’s just got a different soul, is all. So what about you?

What kind of music soothes your soul?

Living With This Much Testosterone: Don’t You Wish Your Boyfriend Was Hot Like Mine!

Astrology in real life

It’s been awhile but I mentioned the soldiers love of what he calls, “martial music”. He loves fighting songs and sometimes likes to have them with breakfast. That is he will turn on something rousing to have with his coffee and he almost looks in a trance as he listens… “Get’s you blood pumping, eh P?”

He says this with his eyes wide and a grin spread across his face. His whole body seems to want to jump up and stand at attention and while it does get my blood pumping, the music is not the cause. It’s the fact I live with this much testosterone that gives the thrill and I thought I’d show you what I am talking about.

This is one of his favorite pieces of martial music. He regularly puts this on. He plugs in the movie and fast forwards to the song and I have to say when he starts his day this way he generally has a good one.
