Astrology And Movie Reviews: Sagittarius, 9th House Jupiter Titles

Outtakes and various other sundries

chariotsfiredm2610_468x340.jpgContinuing on the astrology-themed movie series (see Scorpio titles here), how about some Jupiter-themed titles? Jupiter rules outdoor sports, higher education, religion, luck, storytelling, etc. Personally I love feel good movies and can think of several titles.

Astrology And Movie Reviews: Scorpio, 8th House, Pluto Titles…

Ask the collective

bequiled.jpgI wish we could have a movie of the month club but can’t see how it could be done. We can compile a list of movies one would associate with each of the planets though so let’s give it a whirl starting with Scorpio, Pluto and the 8th house.

These movie picks should involve sex and psychology… perhaps betrayal, double cross, you get the idea. Please leave as many details as you can (without spoilers).

Fighting For Freedom And Survival

Astrology in real life

A few weeks ago the soldier and I watched a movie, I thought it was great.  Matter of fact I called satori and told her I thought the movie was near perfect. I liked it’s tone, the casting, the costuming and the story was haunting to me.  The movie is, Defiance and I can’t seem to stop thinking about it.

I considered writing about it last week and checked the ratings and reviews on the movie out of curiosity. I guess I wanted to know if anyone else was bugged out by it or what they thought about it or whatever. I was fairly surprised to see the fairly low ratings and the reviews which were decent but qualified so I let the writing idea go at the time but I still can’t stop thinking about this movie so here I am.

1 Minute Astrology - Love, Courting, The Limits Of Synastry And Italians, Their Blood And Their Thunderbolts

Catch up here -> Elsa P on synastry

plutoThis is from 2008, I have a new one for tomorrow.

I watched this video a few times today. I am memorized by it because I can remember what I was feeling as I was making it. I was in the middle of my Pluto Moon transit and I’d been crying for days.

Crying was usual but you have to just keep moving through so I made this video. It is a continuation on my series on synastry and the limitations of astrology but I took a different tack as you’ll see. I think the it came out rich, emotional and earthy but I am not sure this is apparent.

Movies, Love and Neptune

Astrology in real life

I heard from one of my oldest friends this morning. She’s slowly coming back into my life, I think. She is truly one of the best women I have ever known in my life and she’s had a rough row over the last 20 years. I have had a rough row myself.

Astrology, Movies… And Neptune

Astrology in real life

Do you even know there are tags on this blog? There are almost 7000 posts here, all of them are tagged and I was thinking today that my favorite tag, just right off the top of my head would be movies. I just flashed on the idea if I were to go back and read all the movie posts I would probably be happy. Next I thought of Bagdad Cafe.

If you’ve not seen this movie and decide to, I doubt you will be disappointed. It is one of my favorite movies of all and the story of it bears repeating.

His Scorpio Moon and My 8th House Under The Scorpio Moon - Suffering

Astrology in real life

Last night, the soldier and I were watching The Count of Monte Cristo

“We like these classics because we have classic lives ourselves,” he explained

“What do you mean?”

“You don’t think our lives are classic?”

I shrugged.

“Well they are. You have to get into the grit of life,” he said. “We have experienced that.”

His Scorpio Moon and My 8th House Under The Scorpio Moon - “In Cold Blood” and The Composite Chart

Astrology in real life

We watched, In Cold Blood
this weekend, I liked it pretty well the first time I saw it but less this time because I knew that in the future, actor, Robert Blake would kill his wife.

There is a point in the movie that I noted both times I saw it where they state the the two people who killed the Clutters would not have been capable of doing the deed alone. The narrator states something to affect it was their energy put together that allowed the crime to happen.

“That’s astrology,” I told the soldier. “When you put two people together, their energy does mix - it creates something like a third entity. That’s the composite chart, where you put the two charts together and make one.”

Valkyrie Box Office: Negative Impact Due Tom Cruise’s Reputation?

Astrology in real life

tomcruise460.jpgSaturn rules the reputation and the public image. Leo is an actor and last year as Saturn transited Leo, I said that I felt actors with poor reputations for whatever reason would see their careers suffer. Over the weekend the soldier and I discussed Tom Cruise…

“Just what did he do?” he asked. “He jumped on a couch or something?”

Astrology And Movies… Venus Neptune Again: Gone With The Wind

Ask the collective

belle-watling.jpgThe soldier and I watched Gone With The Wind this weekend, you may be surprised to learn that prior to Saturday, I’d never seen the movie in my life. He was. This movie came up in my astrology class, so we watched it and I enjoyed it immensely. Most the way through it, I told him I felt most aligned with the madam in the movie, Belle Watling.

“I’m the whore,” I said. “I most relate to her.”

“P, you do not. You are not a whore!”
