Pluto Transit To The Moon - Mine: Hard To Kill
Astrology in real life
Yesterday I wrote about Christopher Reeve, a man so buoyant that even when he’s dead, he’s still - UP. I mean, it’s just impossible to think of the guy and end on a down note.
Lupa came on and said that like me, she could access happiness via focusing on the feeling of the sun on her skin and credited her natal Saturn in Pisces (A Saturn Neptune exchange).
Well my daughter has Saturn in Pisces. She also has Jupiter in Sagittarius trine a 9th house Moon and I am telling you that girl is not going down. Anyway you turn it, she is a streak across the sky and it occurs to me with Pluto retrograde applying in aspect to my Moon that my daughter is one of those people (like Christopher Reeve) who never really die. Oh, maybe in a 100 years but you get the idea. My daughter is UP.
She is up and even when she is down she is actually up, I think she gets it from her Mom.
(Her Mom gets it from Henry.)
Does he look dead in that picture? Of course not.
Up! Up, Up, Up!
Are you hard to kill or do you know someone who is? Give us the astrology…

40 Years Old And Never Bothered To Decorate Her House: Astrology-Based Advice
Dear Elsa,
I grew up in a family of 6 kids, big house, great holidays, etc. My situation is this: as an adult, I have never had a pulled-together house. I am in my 40’s and this has held true through 2 marriages and my current stint as a single parent. It isn’t simply varying periods of disorganization or disinterest in decorating, but having the bare minimum of both furniture (some castoffs) and functional objects. Money is not the problem.
Every house I’ve lived in looks like I just moved in. I can truly say that I don’t know anyone who is like this; some newlyweds and college kids are better off! I’m almost afraid of having a house that is too “established” and settled. None of the places I’ve lived since leaving home felt like a place I wanted to put down roots, although I’ve lived in the same city for the past 18 years!
Am I very kooky? How can I pull my house together so I can have people over and dinner parties and all the rest? What is going on with this?
Homeless
United States
Dear Homeless,
You are asking the wrong person because I live just like you. And I just knew when I was plugging in your data I was going to see a Jupiter Moon contact and sure enough, there it is! I’ve got the same and I can tell you exactly what is going on. We only feel at home when we are moving! “Papa was a rolling stone… wherever he laid his hat was his home…”
I can tell you unequivocally I feel more at home at the gym then I do my own house. I feel more at home in a hotel room I plan to stay in for one night, etc. I feel more at home in the car and consequently, I don’t invest in making a home “homey” though I feel similar to you and think I should.
As to how to address this, I have had little luck. I traded astrology with an interior decorator once and while she did wonders with my house, it did not take me long to revert back to form. I have tried and tried and hope to try some more in the (Jupiter-ruled) future while I have simultaneously come to the conclusion, this is just how I am.
As for children growing up this way… well they probably do suffer but they are also paid. At least they get to walk on the carpet, yes? At least their friends can come over and let their hair down. At least they have a hell of a lot of fun with a Jupiter Moon mom so…
Other people may have ideas. I hope they do but as far as I am concerned this song below is the Jupiter Moon (Sagittarius Moon) anthem…

Sun Conjunct Saturn @ 9 Years Old - His Mother, She’s Like A Curse
Astrology in real life
Today I dropped my son at the bus stop for his last day of school. I was singing on the way, something like this:
“I love, Love, LOVE you! I Luuuuvvvvvvvvve, la la luvvvvvvve you!”
I don’t sing very well but never pay attention to this unless it is called to my attention which is what happened this morning when I pulled up at the curb and stopped to let him out. There was one girl there, waiting for the bus.
“That’s not Emmy is it?” I asked, understanding she is now getting off the bus with him, one stop ahead of her usual. Might she show up in the morning too?
“That’s not Emmy,” he said, putting his hand on the door handle. “Now, Mom. Is there anything else you want to say before I open this door and be humiliated?”
I stared. I was stunned and then broke into a grin because he was grinning himself, slightly. “Do you mean you wouldn’t rather I not sing for that girl.”
He nodded.
“Okay then. Gotcha. It’s safe - You can open the door.
He got out and I drove away thinking, this is a curse. He’s a Sun Saturn (take me serious!) with a Jupiter Moon mother (rollicking good times) - What’s the boy to do?
Do you have a similar curse in your chart?

Sun Conjunct Saturn @ 8 Years Old - On Venomous Women, Etc.
Astrology in real life
“She’s an evil angry witch who is never nice to children,” my son explained.
“Ooh. I guess she is,” I said. “I hope I am nice to children. I think I am.”
“Yes, you’re nice. You’re a free-wheeling mother,” he said.
Guess who has Jupiter in aspect to his Moon? Whew! ::wipes brow:: Because the other night he told the soldier I burped.
“Oh for chrissakes, when?” I asked. “How many times have you even heard me burp in your life?”

Astrology And Children: Sun Conjunct Saturn @ 8 Years Old - Believing In Love, What’s The Tooth Fairy Got To Do With It?
Astrology in real life
“Well, he’s 8 years old,” the soldier said regarding Vidroid. “He doesn’t know what we know. We know he’s going to get older, grow up and meet his girl someday. There is a woman out there for him, you know it and I know it.”
“I do know that.”
“So do I but what does he know? What’s he got to believe in? All he’s got is the Tooth Fairy at this age, so okay. He’ll believe in the Tooth Fairy then. The Tooth Fairy is a beautiful girl and she’s magic. She makes you feel good. She’s what you’ve got so you believe in her..”

Violet asks on the “We Need Somebody To Burn” blog:
“Yet Elsa despite this horrible/ugly response towards you, you still helped that family with its “missing son” issues. How is this possible? What are the limitations of your heart? And no disrespect at all here, but do you see yourself as having martyr like tendencies? And for you, what is the purpose of those inclinations?” Continue reading Does Neptune On The Midheaven Make A Martyr? Bigots and Family Dynamics La, La, La

Astrology As A Tool: Exploiting What Is Promised In The Natal Chart
Astrology in Real Life
Today I have to go to a major meeting at my daughter’s school. I will be meeting with eight authority figures, and I am going to have to just sit there regardless of what they say. In other words, I can exert no control over the meeting.
Because I felt I was too close to the situation to access it and because I felt confident they were the professionals I made a decision a couple months ago to put the course of her education in their hands and now I have to follow through. And they have been investigating since and will share their findings with me today in what appears to be a very formal meeting. No matter what they say, I know I will be deeply impacted, of course I have Pluto transiting my Moon so what do you expect?
But this is not about me, it is about my daughter. And one of the reasons I decided I could do this was because of her chart.
My daughter has a 9th house Moon (education) trine Jupiter in Sagittarius (major benefit, more education) and I feel very simply that her education is guaranteed. It is protected. And I admit this is a leap of faith. It is a gamble (Jupiter) but it’s calculated. And I call something like this in a chart, a “natal promise”… or “what you get for free.”
Everyone has something that comes easy to them. You can see it in their chart and you can see it in their life. It’s enormously helpful if you can identify these things because you case stop worrying about them! Use the energy for something worthwhile. So what about you?
What do you get for free?
