Speaking of Mercury in aspect to Saturn, the soldier has been doing mindless work all week which he usually doesn’t do and he is going absolutely insane. Someone quit and he is covering from them… apparently it leaves him 3 minutes bits of time, sort of like and assembly line which is not long enough to do a calculation. “A piece of math” this is. Apparently a piece of math takes more like 5 or 6 minutes so he’s wholly screwed because it’s a 10 hour day and he desperately needs something to think about.

The first day he made a list of every movie in the world he would like to see. I have the sheet here, dozens of movie titles on one sheet of paper in his neat script.

Full Moon, Lunar Eclipse aside, with Venus (in it’s detriment) conjunct Saturn and Mercury in Virgo, I am getting nothing but news of people getting reality (Saturn) shoved down their throats. This is limited, there is not enough of that, you’ve got to work harder, longer and for less… in short, you have got to clutch it up and oh by the way - NO WHINING!

We can hope for some relief via the lunar eclipse but this Virgo situation is serious. I found myself calling the one person I speak to frequently and while she did not pick up, my intention was to either find out she was doing ok (a spot of good news for my inner circle) or alternately to make sure all the bad news was in because I am telling you it is not a good day to have your phone ring!

1) Why won’t he fly?

I think you are sort of new around here. The soldier was in Special Forces for many years. He has (well) over 200 jumps into combat but hates flying. He has a fear of heights actually. Being a Taurus and likes to be on the ground.

He loves to fight though. He loves battle in every way shape or form so much he willing to jump out of a plane to be in the middle of one but now that his fighting days are over he’s got no motivation to get on a plane and it is well understood by those who know and love him, if he’s traveling, it’s by car.

Mercury rules the hands among other things, and Mars rules metal, sharp objects, burns etc. Anyone who has Mercury in aspect to Mars is most likely going to have stuff going on with their hands. For example my hand was so badly burned one time, there was a threat of amputation.

The soldier has shrapnel in his hands and the other day I turned his hand over and saw a prominent black line, like a large dark splinter across the surface of his palm. “What is that? Did you get some sort of splinter?”

“No, that’s shrapnel. It moves around.”

I just heard from a pal who got ambushed at a function she attended. Apparently there was another woman attending who had it in for her… started taking pot shots.

She didn’t get very far before my friend (Pisces with Mercury in Pisces) had what she called an “intuition”. Her intuition told her that this gal had these comments scripted. Yep. She had her insults pre-loaded and figured in advance and when my friend realized this she was able to mitigate the damage in her mind.

Now when she told me this, I was just stunned. For one thing I have never had this type intuition but I bet this happens all the time. People planning attacks like this, that is so I thought I should post this so others like me might be informed. But I was also interested because I would never, ever plan my comments.

With Mercury in the 9th (cowboy) conjunct Mars (impulsive) whatever I am going to say is going to come out in the moment - say now / pay later.

This led me to consider what the scripting gal’s Mercury might look like and while I don’t know, planning always smacks of Saturn and/or Capricorn.

So what do you guys know about this? Ever script your comments? Ever realize a person’s comments are scripted?

Althera - I see your point and I do realize I am exposing myself for public comment. But my point was that people with boundaries (control of their minds and communications) are apt to be the ones with better information.

I am talking about Saturn (discipline) mashed with Mercury (the mind). You read in astrology how people with planets in aspect to Saturn have difficulty with that area of of life but often work hard to overcome and master the thing and I think this is true.

Compare to someone with Mercury in aspect to Uranus. They may be genius but if no one can understand what they are saying, what good is it?

Do you feel you have control / command of your mind? Where is Mercury in your chart?

Last night I was talking to the soldier regarding his new job. He likes the people he is working with, he says they are good people however he has nothing in common with them outside the job.

“If they really knew me, they wouldn’t like me,” he said.

“Yeah, I know the feeling…”

This may sound depressive to some but we are anything but.

“Not that I give 3 shits…”

“Yeah, I know that feeling too,” I said. “I could care less myself.”

I think this scenario may be very common and could it be related to having Mercury mashed up with Saturn? Some keep our mouths shut knowing if they open them, people won’t like what they have to say? I know this is often true in my case so I always wait for an invitation .

Notice there is no impact on the ego (the Sun). This a thought process or just plain knowledge (Mercury).
