Mercury (and Venus) in Virgo are tightly square Pluto and the rest of the sky is benign in comparison. Communications are manipulative but a negative connotation to that should not be assigned or assumed.

It is possible that a person’s manipulation of you is desirable (Venus) depending on the person. For example if your body is in a knot, a chiropractor can do some pretty nifty magic via manipulation. It reminds me of when I first got in contact with the soldier in 2003. Pluto was transiting my Sun then and I was having a hell of a time.

This is textbook astrology. Breakdown (Pluto) in air travel (Sagittarius) caused my communication (Mercury) blackouts. Anyone else seeing more of this?

I am getting ready to make a video, it’s the kind of thing that will piss off more people than it will please so I asked myself, why? Today’s Mercury square Pluto offers the opportunity to become aware of and accept your own motivations which may or may not be noble and I’m taking advantage.

I don’t do it because I want to be provocative or controversial although this may be the result. My motive is much more selfish, I simply want to get to the next (a deeper) level and to do that I have to shuck off this other stuff. So while may seem…whatever you care to project (I think I am Oprah is a common one) what I really want to do is get smarter and this is the only way I know how to do that.

I would go on to say, this is so important to me I don’t care the damage it does my reputation. I am already an astrologer and it’d be hard to damage a reputation beyond that.

Can anyone relate?

Mercury is applying to square Pluto and things are hopping around here in some spots. In other spots there have been total black outs. For example over the weekend my blog was down for half a day and there was nothing I could do about it

Today, I some how dropped half my bookmarks and cannot figure out how to find the link that allows me to add things to the Astro News at the moment so again another black out.

The grounded Moon in Taurus is further stabilized by a trine from Saturn in Virgo and Leo is pissed. Leo is a fire sign, it prefers to be a blaze of glory and here is all this mucky, yucky, dense, earthy… well you know. What wants reality in their drama for Godsakes? It’s a f’ckin’ tragedy!

Outside of that, Mercury is in exact aspect to Pluto which explains all the talk of death on this blog the last few days. If there is something you’d like to get to the bottom of, now is a good time to probe.

Turns out around here at least, the Mercury Pluto opposition (along with the Moon in Scorpio) rules the day. Talk of sex, hidden knowledge various things stimulating and disturbing.

The soldier had me read a passage in a book this morning, one that he’s mentioned and referenced many times. I got the book months ago but if you’ve been reading here awhile you know I don’t open a box just because he sends it. At least not right away I don’t. I have to let this stuff cool off and that’s what this book has been doing sitting next to the bed for the last six months.

In whatever case, today he put it in my hand to read after reading it himself as I bootled (wrote the last blog).

“Just read this part right here,” he said with his fingers grasping a 10 page section.

The soldier and I watched Die Hard last night which believe or not, I had never seen. He stopped the movie repeatedly to explain how technically accurate it was as far as how an operation is actually planned and executed. Specifically familiar with every weapon used in the movie, (and calling himself the Special Forces weapons sergeant of all weapon sergeants) he explained whoever wrote the money had done their homework to the nth degree.

For example Bruce Willis has a beretta in the movie, a gun the soldier does not prefer but he says one of it’s features is an ambidextrous safety. You can use either hand to engage or disengage the safety of the gun and he pointed out how Bruce Willis kept changing hands to highlight this.

The Moon is in Scorpio and Mercury opposes Pluto which indicates an air of paranoia. Last night the soldier I was asking the soldier what he thought of various things which is routine. “Is this a trick question?” he asked me repeatedly.

Thankfully when I told him it was no trick question we moved along but you see the energy out there so here’s the song of the day: Elvis - Suspicious Minds.

It is impossible for me to know for sure what is going on here. Your man may be pulling away from you or playing some Scorpio “torture” games but it does not necessarily seem this is the case to me.

His question, “Why would you want to be with someone who would intentionally hurt you?” is a good one and it may very well be genuine. I know I would ask the same thing if I meant no harm and someone I was dating claimed I was hurting them but continuing to date me. He is essentially challenging you to look at your own behavior, which is actually a good idea.

A good idea but potentially disturbing and so you feel disturbed and I don’t blame you but look here:

Leo Sun aside, you have Mercury conjunct Pluto in the twelfth house and it is a safe bet that you go deeper than you think you do. You have the Black Moon Liltith conjunct your Moon as well (think dark feminine) and I think this guy may be tapping into parts of you that you are divorced or disconnected from, which is a Scorpio forte.

His bafflement over this situation might also be real because I don’t care what they say, a lot of what Scorpio does is unconscious so I hope you get the gist of this.

You can certainly run and if you don’t meet another Scorpio, then all good. But if you do continue to attract this challenging energy then it might be a clue you explore your darker thoughts and feelings and for the record, astrology suggests this is the direction in which you are headed.
