This is a really good question and one that astrology can handle succinctly. Your chart does show a primarily honest person, bold and blunt as you describe. But Mercury rules communication and yours is in aspect to Neptune which gives the ability to obscure things (lie) at times, so there you go. But you are not doomed. Aware of this propensity / ability you need only find an alternative way to express this energy and you should be home free.

Now Mercury is innately tricky and Neptune rules illusion and nuance so check out one of the ways Meryl Streep’s uses her Mercury / Neptune combo:

I saw Streep interviewed years ago and she was talking about the movie, Kramer vs Kramer for which she won an Oscar. The movie is about a couple divorcing - There is a child involved and Streep stated that she makes up (Neptune) some fact (Mercury) about every character she plays. Something that is not in the script that only she knows about the character. She feels this gives her performance something extra and I agree.

So in the beginning of this movie Streep is in an elevator waiting to go down having words with Dustin Hoffman who she is about to divorce. And she stated that during the scene she was thinking the thing she had made up for this role which was the fact, the woman never loved the man. Big difference, huh?

So Hoffman is saying his lines and she is saying hers but guess what? She never loved him in the first place and no one knows this but her. Can you see how this is the same energy? I hope you can but if you learn to use your ability in this type way, not only will you not be hurting yourself, your life will be enhanced.

Sorry for the recent extreme problems with comments going through. I chock this up to Mercury (communication) conjunct Neptune (disappear) to the exact degree. I bet the problem resolves as the aspect separates and meantime I am digging you guys out of the trash as fast as I can!!

Sorry I skipped out today. I had more meetings this morning and I knew on the drive over my subconscious had the wheel. This mostly reassures me except for the Capricorn part which is always terrified.

So I did my meetings and they went okay. They actually went very well. They went tooooo well if you know what I mean and the way home I had the startling realization the meetings were nothing but a head-fake.

I have been reading the drudgereport for nearly 10 years. I became a fan from day one and have always thought I ought to look for Matt Drudge’s birth data and have a peek at his chart for a host of reasons.

First I was pretty sure I would find close contacts between my chart and his because I just like and admire him so much. Nobody can do what he does. They try to clone his site but it’s just hopeless. I spoke with HQ over the weekend and he asked me if I thought mediums were real. Apparently he’d run across some medium who said not only were they fake. They said every medium they knew was a fake.

Now I don’t know about mediums… people who specifically contact the dead. I have never met anyone who could do it, but I absolutely know people who are “psychic” and I wonder how people think this shows up in chart.

Most notable in my life… psychic beyond a shadow of a doubt would be my sister who always credited her Sun in Pisces trine Neptune for her ability. She also has Mercury in Pisces which I would think denotes the ability to get information from ethereal sources.

The soldier is also wildly psychic. He has a Scorpio Moon conjunct Neptune tightly inconjunct Mercury.
