When I wrote today’s advice to the (self-proclaimed) asexual, I didn’t expect a debate but we have one and it’s lively. I guess Venus in Libra loves a debate and with Mercury in Scorpio, it may as well be about sex!

The question being tossed around is this: Is the lack of interest in having sex pathological? I don’t think it is. I have met people like this… in fact I wrote a whole chapter in my book about one of them and I vividly remember that guy. There was nothing wrong with him at all. I spent a lot of time with him. I looked him in the eye. I even met his mother and just plain wasn’t interested in sex.

He wasn’t gay… I checked that out and ultimately I just had to learn that not everyone is me! Just because I am inordinately interested in sex does not mean other people match my fervor and in fact it makes sense that people like me and people like that guy or the gal in today’s blog balance each other (Libra) in nature.

As for this causing problems in relationship, obviously it does. Both extremes cause problems, I can tell you firsthand. Because while I have been kept for my sex drive, I have also been left because of it, so there!

I guess I consider this a manifestation of Mercury Rx in Scorpio (things hidden about past intense communication). Also Jupiter in Sagittarius - the truth will set you free! Or telling your story, same thing.

The soldier is up to something. He’s been asked to do something that can’t be done which is his forte. I have watched him for awhile now and I’m catching on to his process. He has more than one plan for example. He makes several contingency plans and he works things out way ahead.

He called today to run his elaborate plan by me and I didn’t like it. I thought it was too risky with not enough reward so I made a pointed comment. He called me back ten minutes later.

“Okay, I’m going to scrap that last thing, P. I decided I can just be stupid instead. You know. I’m a dumbass. Anyone asks me something, I’ll give ‘em my hayseed routine.”

I laughed.

“Yeah, it’ll work. I got these tattoos so I’ve got to be stupid.”

“Well you have that accent too. You sound like an idiot.”

“Yep, I’m a southern boy so I don’t no nuttin’. Those northern boys think we’s all stupid anyways so it shouldn’t be too hard to pull off. I’ll just tell ‘em I din’t no no better. I ain’t from New Yoke or anything. I ain’t from a city so I don’t know nuttin’. I’s just some idyit from down ‘round, Tennessee so I didn’t know all this. You mean it goes like that? Ohhhhhhhhhh. I thought it went like this. Thanks for letting me know about that, jeez.”

I laughed.

“And then I’ll scratch my head or sumthin’ and they’ll never figure it out.”

I don’t fret too much about Mercury retrograde. I avoid signing things and avoid purchases for non-essentials, especially clothing for myself or my children because I have learned it always has to go back, each and every stitch. But this time, it’s a freak out.

Most of you know my bank (Netbank) died last week. The bank that took them over (ING) is big, likely pretty safe but just doesn’t offer what Netbank did when it comes to services so I have been in a mad scramble to first make a decision about staying with them (made) and then scramble to switch this stuff over before Mercury goes retch. What is it with the current transit of Mercury through Scorpio? I have never seen so much junk under rocks in my life! Is it because the planet is slowed down ready to go retrograde? Must be.

In whatever case, I am having a good time. Your criminal mind against mine? ::laughs:: Bring it on!

And backed up toilets aside, I should also mention Mercury is inordinately well-aspected which means if you can suss out which communications to trust, information that heals you is right, right there. But at the moment you have to pluck the nugget of gold from the mountain of crap so you know what Nike says. Just do it.

On other fronts, today someone (a man) drove alongside the soldier on the highway (Mercury), soliciting him for sex (Scorpio) on the cb. ::smiles:: I swear, that boy can’t leave home.
