The soldier is in the gym training for his debut at the fight club as well as recovering from spending the last year + stuck in an 18 wheel truck. The other day he ran in the gym, this is something he does not do anymore for the most part due his legs.

His legs are full of shrapnel and bullet holes, never mind 200 jumps from planes into combat (Mars) will take a toll on your knees (Saturn) especially when you land like a Taurus / Rhinoceros.

“Was it good to run?” I asked as we left the gym. “Did that feel good?”

“Hell no, I hate to run. I have always hated to run. Sound pretty funny coming from someone who used to run 14 miles a day,” he said.

“Oh, I didn’t know. So why are you doing it? Is it the most efficient way to lose weight?”

“No, it’s the most efficient way to get your wind up so you can fight.”

“I see,” I said realizing the obvious connection.

“The most efficient way to lose weight is to not eat,” he added.

I just shook my head at these simple facts.

Many of you know that my grandfather and double Capricorn, Henry built houses. He built adobe houses specifically and I built them with him.

Consequently I have never picked a man who cannot build things and the soldier is no exception.

He landed here and started drawing plans on day two.  He is now building.  That’s the beginning of a sawhorse which will be heavy-duty, multi-purpose and necessary so he can build his next ideas.

I never finished writing about the big fight I had with the soldier and the truck wash and the gay man and the blonde but we were talking about it a couple days ago. Mercury (communication) in aspect to Saturn creates difficulties in this arena.

Yesterday evening I was sitting in the soldier’s truck after he’d backed it down a long narrow residential street with children around, and through a narrow gate, cock-eyed. We were planning to unload and then go down the street and reload. I’ve helped him do both but never on the same day and I was happy wondering how much work it was going to be.

The soldier has a Saturn, Mars, Mercury T-Square and a sort of tenuous relationship with his boss. You may remember I suggested he apologize to him once which he did and this is what led him to start drawing rhinos with balloons tied to their noses and leaving them lying around.

Now I think he likes the guy… sort of. But he’s very much like a woman who has PMS and I don’t mean that to be insulting. Some women do have PMS (you know who you are) and some men have problems of their own, don’t they? In this case, the guy really does seem to go crazy every few weeks. He just gets hysterical and the soldier? Well after a year of observation he’s sick of it.
