Last night the soldier was watching various things on youtube, I was lying on the bed near the computer, and Vidroid standing by.

“Now let’s look at some Latin babes,” the soldier said.  “Come here, Vidroid.”

“Babes!  Let’s look at some Latin hunks,” I said.

“Come on, P. I’m just trying to help Vidroid with his taste in women.”

I laughed.

“Yeah. Let me show him a Latin babe, then I’ll find you a hunk, will that be okay?”

What could I say?

The soldier pulled up Gloria Estevan and he and Vidroid started dancing. Got to admit they were cute.

The soldier sat in the chair to dance while Vidroid who is a pure monkey stood on the armrests behind him, rocking out.  Later the soldier pulled up my hunk as promised.

Today I brought this up.  “You were showing Vidroid…”

“P, you just shush. You’ll thank me when he comes home with something other than a cadaver for a girlfriend. You don’t want our daughter-in-law to be one of those cadavers do you?”

I started in about how Vid was going to like whoever he liked regardless of what the soldier did or said but he was so passionate about his desire to impact this I decided it was best to leave it alone if only for the entertainment value.

Well, I didn’t know what to do. I chatted with Jesse with far less enthusiasm then usual but refused to turn to face front so my ass would not be near him before I finished my routine. 8 minutes on one side means 8 minutes on the other if you have Libra and need balance.

And this holds true even if you have a jealous boyfriend behind you who may or may not have steam coming out of his ears because am I doing anything? No I’m not! Is it my fault the machines are smushed together? No! I am a victim here, can you tell? I am a victim and a diplomat and I figured this whole thing out.

I decided when the soldier showed up to tell me he was going in the pool I would introduce him the hairdresser first and Jesse second. And since Jesse is bawdy, innocent and can think on his feet, I figured I would say something like this:

“This is the soldier. I am with him so if you see any of these gym gals around here sniffing around him you let me know!”

Jesse would be sure to laugh, the soldier would probably blush, the hairdresser would just listen like hairdressers do and there. Everything diffused. But that’s not what happened. What happened was the soldier went straight to the pool without stopping by the cross trainer so what the hell? I saw him go by with his eyes averted and felt a clutch in my chest.

Having Libra myself, I could argue either side but I can tell you for sure that I don’t change. As a matter of fact I have not changed one lick since I was 5 years old and if I had any doubt about this, I am constantly reminded.

I am reminded by the soldier, by HQ, by Scott… others, and most recently by old pal, Kathleen who surfaced a few days ago and surprised me completely when she said, “You were always telling stories. No one could tell a story the way you could, that’s why you were such a good bartender…”

You have to admit this blog is nothing but a bar and I had no recollection of telling her stories whatsoever so I guess it is just baked in.  She also said when she clicked on link and saw my picture, I looked exactly the same which I have to say is embarrassing. I would like to evolve, but it seems impossible for me to do.

Could I swing a helmet at someone today? Well, yeah. I’d may be less apt but you’d be a fool to think I am not capable. If I am out with the soldier and he dances with another girl right in front of me, I will swing the fucking helmet at him, I absolutely will. I will clear another dance floor no problem and when we are in the old folks home together, same thing.

Some old gal comes sniffing around him, there is going to be hell to pay! Mad in my veins I will glare at her, death by look and then pick up something, swing it wildly at his head and then his crotch per my usual and get away with it, also per my usual. And this may be embarassing but on the other hand (says Libra) it is better than saying this:

“I used to be fun but now I’m not.”

What I really think is that I have occurred in nature and that is it, I have occurred in nature.  An apple tree, not too likely to turn into an orange tree but what about you?

Never mind other people, have you changed over the years?

Dear Libra,

This sounds like a clear case of WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) to me. This man has a full life. His life is full of people, a job, an addiction and mental illness and it seems to me he is living it.

You on the other hand are trying to make decisions about your life based on this other person’s comings and goings and progress and/or lack of progress and it is not hard to see this is going to lead you to nothing and nowhere.

Rather than focusing on what he is doing, it would be far more productive to focus on what you are doing - which as a double Libra may be a challenge so I will try to help.

You are doing what comes natural to Libra: you are trying to partner, though you are going about it all wrong. You are trying to decide (Libra) if you might be able to take this other person and see if you can’t fashion them (read control them) into something that will be suitable as a partner, which is never going to work.

This is particularly true of a psychotic, depressed, ADHD, disappearing, alcoholic Scorpio who has a bunch of women hanging around so yeah. If you want a partner which I think you do, I would look elsewhere.

Who secretly wants to be who?

The new videos have created a problem for Libra who now has to decide something. I told a story on my last video coming up which is my natural state. I liked the result and now I want to talk (or write) about projection.

Projection is a lovely topic I know a lot about and I am pretty sure if I get started on it a series of blogs will result. So do I talk them? Or write them?

Talk them?
Write them?

I was thinking the videos ought to stand alone in case someone wants to post one of them on their blog. So “more later” is not going to work. I also like the short format for a variety of reasons. I don’t want to mess with it at the moment so that precludes me going on at length. Seems I ought to write.

But my physical presence would be helpful in making one of my main points and I do like to talk! I especially like to tell stories so now I am lost!

Does anyone have advice or perspective on this? Thanks.
