“How is she?” I asked satori.

“She’s tired. She’s tired which is somewhat better than vomiting I guess.”

“Did you see her or talk to her?”

“Texted her. These kids don’t talk anymore, they text.”

“Yeah.”

“Yeah, I can’t see her because I’m sick,” she reminded me. (The girl’s immune system is down and she can’t be around anyone sick, or have uncooked food, flowers etc. in her room.)

“Oh yeah, I forgot.”

satori and I on the phone the day she found out her friend has leukemia, it was satori’s birthday. The girl was checking into the hospital the next morning for a 45 day stay and satori was going to go visit her.

“What do I say?” she asked. “I don’t know what to say.” It was her birthday and she had a big date. So incongruent with all this.

“Well I doubt she has had time to adjust. Just show up and don’t bring a bunch of stuff because it’s too soon for her to have assimilated she’s not going anywhere for more than a month. She just cannot have figured this out probably. She’s only had a day and a half, so don’t go in with a bunch of magazines and books. Too much reality.”

“Yeah.”

That right there is my friend satori’s solar return. Check the Mars Pluto opposition across the ascendant and descendant axis and the shocking 8th house. On her birthday she learned a gal she is close to (19 years old) has leukemia. satori is very close to this gal… the girl looks to her as her second (ultra-cool very together) mother. My 8th house is trying to support and prepare her SR 8th house.

“Well I don’t think you’re going to see a good day in awhile,” I said. “More than a month. I figure if they put her in the hospital for 45 days she is probably on a precise treatment program. You know. It’s dictated by the insurance company (8th house). So she is already sick and now they are going to make her sicker and kill her immune system. Just brace yourself is all because I think it will be very bad. I don’t see how it can be anything but considering her age.”

It’s very strange. I have an inner circle of friends, it’s small. During the time I wrote the cancer diagnosis story two of my inner circle had people in their inner circle diagnosed with cancer. We are all just stunned.

On the Pisces front as I mentioned earlier today if your birthday right about now, you are going to have a slew of planets in one house in your solar return. My friend satori fits the bill and yesterday I asked her where the planets landed in her solar return. I was in the car or I’d have looked myself and she gave me this Pisces answer, “8th or 9th, I’m not sure.”

Today she learned a friend of hers has leukemia. The girl is 19 years old! satori is a mother figure to her and it’s just a devastating shock. Her symptoms were swollen gums and sleeplessness if you can imagine that.
