Open Question: Astrology, Love And Legacy

Ask the collective

heart.jpgNow this is pure speculation but it’s been on my mind lately. Let’s say a person grew up with parents who loved each other deeply. Do you think this is an advantage to that individual when it comes to finding love and lasting relationship in their own life? Or do you think the parents love fortune is irrelevant to their descendants?

Can you back your opinion with astrology?

Stephen King’s Quote On Illiteracy And The Army vs (The Saturn) Reality

Astrology in real life

sawhorse.jpgMany of you know that my grandfather and double Capricorn, Henry built houses. He built adobe houses specifically and I built them with him.

Consequently I have never picked a man who cannot build things and the soldier is no exception.

He landed here and started drawing plans on day two.  He is now building.  That’s the beginning of a sawhorse which will be heavy-duty, multi-purpose and necessary so he can build his next ideas.

Manipulating Energy - Legacy And Inheritance: Pluto, Scorpio And The 8th House

pluto planet paperweight“Well I am his legacy,” I explained the soldier regarding my father. “I inherit his energy whether I like it or not. It is no different than you and your son. Your son is your legacy… doesn’t matter if he wants it that way because it is that way. See him on that video and whose grin is that?” I asked.

“My grin.”

“Right. And regardless who my father is or what he’s done, I look just like him. I have his hair and the guy had charisma you know. He had no shortage of charisma so I can thank him for mine. And because I am his legacy, the older and weaker he becomes the stronger I become. I believe this. His energy is passing to me.”

Your Inheritance Around Forming A Loving Intimate Relationship: Bountiful Or Bust?

Ask the collective

love puzzleJeez! Venus hit Libra and look at this blog! Yesterday’s man/woman stuff was fascinating (and somewhat unsettling) to me. But that’s okay - I’ll live.

Last night I was talking to pal about some of this stuff. She’s had some difficulty finding a partner.

“Well you haven’t had the greatest role model as far as being in a happy relationship with a man goes,” I said. “Look at your mother. Her priority is to have, preferably to have more than other people and a man is irrelevant to her for the most part.”

“He is.”

“I know. She doesn’t even care if she likes the guy. Her focus is on having more all the time. She wants as much as possible and being happy is not even in the equation.”

“That’s true. She does want to have as much as she can, the man doesn’t matter. It’s always been that way and she knows this about herself.”

“I know she does. She wants to be able to buy things, this is her deal and she’s not shy about it. But now you come along and you actually want to form a relationship with a man so where to start is like a a big mystery. They may as well be dropping you in a foreign land. Everything you have ever been taught is that men are not the thing to think about other than to get one so the neighbors don’t talk. The man is like a lawn ornament, I guess. So now here you are and you want to actually relate to a man in an intimate way which leaves you with a big puzzle, seeing as you’ve never seen it done.”

Growing up, what was modeled for you as far as male/female relationships go? Can you see this play in your life?

Pluto Transit To The Moon - Mine: Empowering My Daughter - Legacy, Scorpio and the 8th House And Oh Yeah, Death, Dying and Writing

“Empowering My Daughter” starts here - Part One

ninja little brotherMy daughter and I, talking in the car as we drove across Nebraska after spending the weekend with the soldier…

“Sometimes I wish I had your life,” she said. ‘To write about because my life is not as interesting as yours.”

“What?” I laughed. ‘You’ve got to be kidding me. Look at the characters in your life. You’ve got one… he stands there holding a cigarette in his hand, blowing smoke out his mouth and says he’s not smoking.” I snorted. “You don’t think you can write about that? And how many times have you nearly died? You’ve spent years almost dying don’t you realize?”

“I do realize,” she said. Continue reading Pluto Transit To The Moon - Mine: Empowering My Daughter - Legacy, Scorpio and the 8th House And Oh Yeah, Death, Dying and Writing

Sins Of The Father - Redux: Legacy and the 8th House - Enron

Ask the Collective

enron logoSimstim left this interesting comment on the legacy blog:

I think the ’sins of the father’ is that which causes affliction in the sons that must be resolved by the new generation in order to live a fulfilled life. The most blatant examples of this IMO is child abuse, addiction or an absentee father. Now a son must resolve those sins of the father in his own life to be liberated from them.

The comments on that blog were interesting in general because everyone seemed to parse “sins of the father” in their own way. So with Simstin, the sons pay the price of the father’s sins that are very directly perpetrated upon them. But what about the father who is terrific to his children but perpetrates against the community at large? Take the Enron scandal for example.

Say these fathers ripped off a bunch of other fathers and families. Do the sons suffer for that? What about the son’s sons? Do they have hell to pay too? What do you think?
