It came up in the comments twice this week, the fact I am typically ahead of the game. For example having started in 2001, I am almost positive I am the first astrology blogger in the world. I used to sell stuff on ebay… this back in the dark ages before they had fees. I sued my boss for “sexual harassment” before most had even heard the term, more than a dozen years before Anita Hill and I could on and on. I don’t mean to be ahead of the game, I don’t try to be ahead of the game, it is more like the game finds me and when it does it’s so compelling I play it!

I was thinking of something which made me think of something I heard Janice Dickinson say once in an interview. That is that the first thing Sylvester Stallone does with his dates is send them to a surgeon for body modifications… namely breasts which reminds me he is a Cancer but besides that the thing that gets me about Janice is she is an obvious truth teller and it’s not that common is it?

This led me to look for her chart and it turns out she is an Aquarian with a Sagittarius Moon. It is the Sadge Moon doing the blurting and she has the ruler of her Sun and Moon (Uranus and Jupiter) conjunct so nothing would suit her better than to blurt the shocking truth.

If you want to take it further, the conjunction is in Cancer so how about the shocking truth about Cancer, Sly Stallone? Ha ha ha, I love astrology but here is the question:

Do you know any obvious truth tellers? Add the astrology if you know it.

The soldier:

“How’s it going today, P? You doin’ good?” he asked.

“Yeah. I’m in a tango on my blog due my big mouth. I’m spouting off again and in some trouble.” (Abuse Of Power)

“Are ya? Good, P. That’s good.”

“You like that?’

“I do.”

“Well it’s nice to hear. Real nice. Makes me think of my sister. She was embarrassed by me and my mouth beyond belief. I felt bad. She was always trying to get me to shut me up and I would have liked to do it but couldn’t.”

He laughed.

“Yeah, it is in my nature to broadcast but anyway one time I gave this speech in high school. I was like… 13. And I wrote this speech and I had to give it in front of the whole school. And of course it was provocative. I did not want to bore people so I said all this stuff I thought was funny; I just yelled it out like a crazy.”

He laughed.

“And apparently my voice was just booming through this microphone though I had no idea. I was just trying to get through the speech and my sister couldn’t stand it so she was outside in the parking lot and she said she could hear my voice all the way out to the cars… she said she it was BOOMING and she wanted to dive under a car and hide she said she was mortified.”

He laughed.

“Yeah, and I was embarrassed too, when I heard that. But it goes to show I’ve been doing this awhile. I actually started this in 3rd grade when I was 7 years old. That was my first public protest and act of defiance and it doesn’t appear I can stop.”

With Mercury forming a T-square with Jupiter and Uranus I have also been thinking about religious freedom. I cop having taken it for granted all my life but I don’t feel this way anymore.

These days I am acutely aware what a privilege it is be able to write (Mercury) and freely (Uranus) publish my beliefs (Jupiter). I understand if I were living somewhere else I could get my head cut off for this.

Besides that, it’s true. I have the great good fortune to write this blog and I can only hope it continues. What about the Taliban rounding up the women and the girls in Afghanistan? No education for you! ::sighs::

All the books will tell you Uranus signifies unexpected change and reversals. If you happen to be the one with the rights and freedoms, I would say it’s unnerving. What would you say?

A pal came to the surprising conclusion this week, she has no ‘tribe”. Tribe being a Jupitarian thing.

It looks on the surface as if she’s part of certain culture but her feelings run counter to feelings of her people… her family and the people who look like her, and consequently she stands alone and this came as a revelation to me.

On the flip, courtesy my Pluto Moon transit (excavate your roots) I am becoming aware I am very connected to my tribe, which has been largely subconscious and this has also been a revelation.

She can’t get away from the fact she is unlike her people. I can’t get away from the fact that I am!

What are your general thoughts on “tribe”.

I took my own advice this weekend and traveled to meet the soldier. It was a last minute plan on both our parts which fits with Jupiter (travel) square Uranus (unexpected). We only had about 36 hours notice of the trip and about 24 hours together but this did not stop us from managing to wind up at someone’s Catholic wedding.

Not that we knew them or anything. Not that we planned it or anything. Not that we could have anticipated it in any way shape or form, and not that we had even one thing to do with it, but there we stood in the back of the cathedral not daring to look at each other, but glancing over anyway and this couple solemnly said “I do.”

Jupiter rules religion… Uranus acts like a bolt of lightning. We know it means something but we have no idea what.
