We got the tv thing working last night and I plan to come on (bad hair or no) between 11 and noon Mountain Time. See ya then… and for people who can’t be around, you will be able to watch from an archive.

I am mostly terrified because there is about a 4 second delay between when I talk and move and when it broadcasts which is enormously disorienting for a Mars Mercury type like me. Saturn in Virgo though, eh? Slow Communication!

Outside of this, goddess and Neith were around for the maiden voyage and sure enough I stepped in it when I dialed the soldier and started chatting with him on the phone, unaware I was still broadcasting.

I can’t tell you the history I have doing this. For example, once I was talking, making jokes and singing for days and days over a 2-way radio thinking I was talking to just the one person. Come to find out everyone on the frequency could hear me…

Damned Capricorn, I was never so embarrassed in my life. But this is what happens with Jupiter rising. You talk and it goes out there BIG.

The soldier:

“How’s it going today, P? You doin’ good?” he asked.

“Yeah. I’m in a tango on my blog due my big mouth. I’m spouting off again and in some trouble.” (Abuse Of Power)

“Are ya? Good, P. That’s good.”

“You like that?’

“I do.”

“Well it’s nice to hear. Real nice. Makes me think of my sister. She was embarrassed by me and my mouth beyond belief. I felt bad. She was always trying to get me to shut me up and I would have liked to do it but couldn’t.”

He laughed.

“Yeah, it is in my nature to broadcast but anyway one time I gave this speech in high school. I was like… 13. And I wrote this speech and I had to give it in front of the whole school. And of course it was provocative. I did not want to bore people so I said all this stuff I thought was funny; I just yelled it out like a crazy.”

He laughed.

“And apparently my voice was just booming through this microphone though I had no idea. I was just trying to get through the speech and my sister couldn’t stand it so she was outside in the parking lot and she said she could hear my voice all the way out to the cars… she said she it was BOOMING and she wanted to dive under a car and hide she said she was mortified.”

He laughed.

“Yeah, and I was embarrassed too, when I heard that. But it goes to show I’ve been doing this awhile. I actually started this in 3rd grade when I was 7 years old. That was my first public protest and act of defiance and it doesn’t appear I can stop.”

I was thinking about the Jupiter rising in Gemini serial killer and it occurred to me the guy was German but he took an Italian name for an alias. The ascendant (rising) is your veneer and he’d want to be “international” right? And interesting?

But then it hit me… the psychology. This guy’s first name was Don. Don, then an Italian last name. Get it? He thinks he’s the Godfather. You know. Don Corelone…

With his 8th house packed I can only wonder if this was conscious. I bet it was and I bet he thought he was clever (Gemini).

“So you ate dinner with this guy after this?”

“Yeah. I was outside with my boyfriend’s… well he was my fiance. And I was outside with his brother there, standing by the car telling him jokes. I was trying to let him know I was okay and also just keep him distracted. Because this was a living hell for him. He looked like he was going to explode, or maybe implode right on the spot. So I made jokes.”

“Like what? How do you joke about something like this?”

“Easy. As far as I was concerned the guy was a cartoon so I just exploited that. I mocked him. Did you seen the veins sticking out, I asked. I’m sorry your father is a freak. Has he always been a freak or did this just start today?”

We both laughed.

“Yeah, I got him laughing and feeling better right away to the extent I could because he was reeling. Eventually my fiance came out and filled us in on the situation.”

“And then you went in there and ate dinner?”

“Yeah. We had a pow-wow about this. We were traveling together and we had a powerful synergy which I think it unusual for a trio but it was there. So we had these various options… splitting up, all of us leaving, all of us staying, etc. And in the end we decided to maintain our united front and go to dinner.”

“Hmm.”

“See, they were both trying to take care of me. They felt bad, you can imagine. But I told them not to take a stand on my behalf because the whole thing was meaningless to me. Don’t go defend my honor because I am not dishonored. And since I was the supposed victim, once I explained that there was no injury and it was clear this was true the whole air just went out of this thing. You know. There is a bag of hot air in there… he’s your father. Do you want to eat with him or no? Do you want to fight him and if so, do you want to do it today? Do you want to drive away? You guys figure this out and whatever you want to do, I’ll do it with you.”

“I see.”

“Yeah. It was all for one and one for all. We were The Three Musketeers. We really were like that, so we just stayed like that and we all went to dinner.”

“Well that does sound like you.”

“Yeah. I am a loyal and stanch ally. I am not going to cave on you just because someone calls me a nigger or any other kind of name. I may have dimples but I am not a flake. And you better believe this guy didn’t like it when he saw the three us heading back in all nonchalant, to eat his food.” I laughed. “I thought it was funny as hell. I actually walked in and shook his hand. Hi, I’m Elsa, I said with my regular grin.” I snorted. “I had his two sons, one on each side of me and I was defying him I suppose. I guess you’re going to find out what it’s like to eat dinner with a nigger, aren’t you?” I laughed. “I didn’t say that last part, I just thought it. And that’s exactly what happened. Dinner was served.”

Dear Mom,

You are within your rights to cut off financial support to your adult daughter and her children… your grandchildren. But it does not sound like you would be within your comfort zone, so you’re caught! However, I have a trick for you. Consider this:

First off, you have Jupiter rising and you are preachy. Don’t get pissed with that Aries Moon of yours. I just want you think about this like the Gemini you are. Think about how you preach to your daughter and think about how you try to control her (Aries Moon). And while you are busy doing all this, she doesn’t have to do anything. She just rebels! Get it? As long as you do what you do, she is going to do what she does… so how about you throw her a curve ball? Set some limits for yourself. I don’t know what you’re giving her - time, money or both. But how about you tell her what it’s going to be like this:

“I will watch your kids 6 hours a week and give you $200 a month and after that you’re on your own”.

But here’s the trick: You don’t get to say anything about how she uses the time or the money you donate. When you give something it is gone like a gift. And it’s her business what she does with her resources! And if you can restrain yourself from preaching and trying to control her, what will happen?

Well at first she will probably waste them, expecting you to come back in with your old tune. But if you can resist correcting her or interfering, she will have no choice but to stop and think,”Uh oh. Mommy isn’t acting like Mommy anymore. Could it be I need to grow up?”

And then she probably will. Because she has all your teachings and preachings already. So trusting that, get out of the way and give it some time and I think you may be surprised at the result.
