Pisces Moon Spotlights Hodgepodge in Horoskop by Deirdre Tanton

There’s a local little newspaper around the corner from where I live where I do freelance layout sometimes. There are articles about local politics, or which church is getting new bells, and if the University plans to renovate or move. Most pertinently, though, there are also weekly horoscopes, and I was curious about them.
On my first day at the newspaper, I sneaked a peek at the “Horoskop” file and found 52 weeks worth, each sign having three sentences, all neatly laid out on one big page. The weeks in Germany are commonly assigned a number, and right now, in case you don’t know, we are in Week 34.

Heads Up To Virgo In 2008-2009 - Birthday To Birthday, It’s One Hell Of A Year Ahead
Astrology in real life
Virgos are going to have one hell of year. By year, I mean solar year, from birthday, 2008 until birthday 2009. Reason being most will have Saturn conjunct their Sun in their solar return but even more compelling, ruler Mercury will be in Libra conjunct Venus and Mars.
Now translated, I’d say this is going to transform all Virgo’s into leaders over the next year. These solar return charts are very Cardinal and if you are a Virgo you will be taking charge and further it will be your responsibility to do exactly that. You just don’t get dealt cards like this by accident, you must play them.
On top of what I have already mentioned there is support for the Sun and Saturn from Jupiter in Capricorn and anyone who is willing to work is going to be rewarded and probably richly.
As to how you will feeeeel about this, that depends on the Moon in the chart (the day you were born) along with you basic nature so it is variable but that stuff up there is correct and hard core - Mark my words.
Can any Virgos feel this coming?

Virgo - You hate being a hardass. You avoid having to tell people the harsh truth or make difficult, unpleasant decisions. This is one of the reasons you’re happy to leave someone else in charge and just do all the labor to make their ventures successful. Sometimes, however, you’re stuck doing this kind of dirty work, too, and must let someone know they’re being cut because of poor performance. “Why me?” you may wail, but you already know. It’s because you’re simultaneously kind and effective. You’ll get the job done, but in a much more compassionate way than anyone else would. You can’t shirk dishing out the “killing blow,” but at least you can make it as swift and painless as possible.

ARIES - Whether you believe that the human heart is the mystical seat of profound emotion or you look upon it as pure cardiology, examine your vulnerability in that area. You can obsess over an impossible affair. That could be fun. Maybe get crazy over the baby thing. Or start taking acting lessons or cutting your first Ep at 50. How about a drop or two of Botox? This eclipse deals with youth and your need to hang on to it.

Paul Wade writes:
“Your astrological year, from your birthday in 2008 through to your birthday in 2009, promises to be an eventful one, during which you can address and reconcile some of those issues that have proven so problematic recently. Events impact mainly in two areas, affecting firstly the regular running and routine machinations of your everyday life with your working day strongly emphasized. Here you can expect the changes that took place during early 2008 to continue, while secondly, your relationships with other people, both on a personal and a professional level are also in the spotlight. How strongly others feature is the most important thing to remember about the coming twelve months…”

Open Question: Why Do Astrologers Say All Virgos (Insert Other Sun Sign) Will Find Love In 2008?
Ask the collective
Dear Elsa,
I know. Another sex topic but you can’t say I’m not consistent. Plus Scorpio moon is coming.
What common aspects in our charts would signal meeting a new lover?
All the yearly horoscopes say for Virgo’s this is the year for you to find new love etc. How do they know that? Obviously not everyone in that sign is going to fall in love. So.. it must be certain planets knocking boots with other planets and passing over your chart right?
Wondering Virgo
Open Question - Her Husband Won’t Take The Time To Share Her Passionate Interest
Dear Elsa,
What if you know something really important that you want to share with your partner but they refuse to listen. Something like watching a certain interview or video. Nothing that requires too much work.
What if you ask them to do something (nothing that would harm them of course) and they said that they did not want to do it and that they would never do this thing that would give you and them some common ground to tread upon.
What kind of relationship is that? Is it even a relationship?
I love this person and would never want to cause them discomfort or harm but their lack of “awareness” is absolutely detrimental to our health as a couple.
What would you suggest in a situation like this?
Stalemate
United States
Dear Stalemate,
I am not sure you will like my read on this because it definitely reflects my bias but considering you are Sagittarius I know you appreciate other perspectives so here is mine:
I would let this go. I don’t think you can force someone to learn something or have an interest in something they don’t have an interest in. For example, I always wind up with engineers… people like math and like it a lot. My first husband actually stalked me with a math book. He followed me around the house with the book cracked open, he just wanted to show me how interesting this all was and when he wouldn’t stop, I took off out the front door and headed down the dirt road with 5 planets in Scorpio in pursuit.
