Yesterday was tough. The day started at 4 AM and ended for me about 2AM this morning. The soldier didn’t fare much better, his day ended about midnight. He pretty much starved all day due the surgery on his mouth, had to do without pain medication because he was driving (”A little pain never hurt anyone.”) and when he finally got stopped he realized he had a black eye. Turns out he had a bungee cord snap back and hit him in the face. I guess we should count him lucky he’s still got an eye but at the end of the day with his cheek swollen and his shiner, he literally looked beaten.

I was talking to my pal and astrologer, Claire France Perez about suffering. She thinks love means suffering and pointed out that I do quite a bit of it.

“I suffer?”

“Yes.”

“Okay, yeah I do,” I said.

And my sister (who has a Grand Cross in her chart) had a theory that the suffering of some allow others to avoid suffering. She was specifically talking about people with difficult charts like hers in comparison to people with charts full of trines.

I just stared at the time, but have come to agree with her. What about you?

Does one person’s suffering ease another’s?

My son has a grand cross in his solar return this year and has really been under the gun. He surprised me last night when he said, “Ever since my birthday…”

He went on to explain how particularly hard things have been since he turned 8 and all I could do was nod and commiserate because facts are facts. He then surprised me by telling me he had been having prophetic dreams.

He said he dreams something and two days later the things happens. He expressed a sort of ambivalence over the situation. On one hand I think he knows this is special, on the other hand most of the things he is dreaming that wind up happening are bad. Pretty heavy for an 8 year old, I’d say. Cartooning is an interesting form of writing. You have to get your message across very succinctly. But there is an even shorter form.

Do you have someone in your town… a business or in this case a church who maintains an outdoor sign which a changing message that is snappy? Most towns do and we are fortunate here to have a several very good sign writers.

So today, I drove by the church with the good sign, it’s two-sided and whatever it says is always clever on one level or another. So today’s sign said:

“WANT TO WORRY LESS?”

I drove by (on my scooter) and glanced back to read the back side:

“PRAY MORE”.

Jupiter laughed at that.

Here’s the grand cross in that:

Worry is Virgo, praying is Pisces so there is that opposition.

Also involved in today’s cross is Venus (your desire… less worries) and Jupiter (the sign is in front of a church)!

I have no intention of going to church but if I ever did, I would pick the one with the amusing sign, I think. Or the one with the most songs and the least rules.

Dear Fixed,

Well it sounds like he is lying to me! If in fact his friend was using his image to flirt with women and getting him in trouble with his girlfriend in the process, don’t you think he would be over to his friend’s place making him stop?

And what kind of friend would do that? And further, what kind of man would have a friend who would mislead women by putting a false picture out there in the first place?

I am sorry but your man sounds like a lying dog to me. This falls under the classification, “If you have to ask…” I think the odds he is telling you the truth are about 1% and chances are, you are only onto the tip of the iceberg here.

And because you do not have the chart of someone gullible or easily deceived,I think the reason you are still with this man is a simple one: you have a fixed grand cross in your chart and you don’t like change! So I have no idea what you’re going to do but I definitely think this guy is up to… who knows what. Probably as much trouble as he can find.

“He’s stuck to you like mistletoe to oak.” That’s what my pal at the gym, Denis from Cameroon said today regarding, “The Salesman”.

“What?”

Denis twisted himself up. “You know how mistletoe attaches to oak? Once it does, it won’t let go.”

I got a mind picture. “Yeah. Well I’ve noticed that and I’m glad I’m not the only one. I’ve told him no, many times. Lots of time. Nothing stops him. I am pretty sure I could hit him with a truck and he’d still keep coming…”

Denis laughed and I went into the astrology. See these men, astro-twins, Salesman and my Special Forces ex have a T-square in their chart. Charts, since it is the same T-square. And the n node fills in the T-square, and guess who’s Mars Mercury is conjunct their n node? Me.

So that means the madder I get, (Mars Mercury) the more I cuss, the more I swing motorcycle helmets at them… the more I assert myself (prettily) in the gym, the more I look like “her” to them. The more I look like their destiny.

So as you can see, it’s hopeless. Any action I take (Mars). Any communication I make (Mercury) reinforces their resolve. Isn’t that a hoot?

Actually, you and your boyfriend are not in limbo. I think you are totally and utterly broken up.

As for his replying when you contact him, it sounds as if he is a polite man. You know. His mama raised him right and he is trying to not be rude. You, on the other hand show him no such courtesy, and this is what needs to change.

Now you have a Taurus Moon that is involved in a FIXED grand cross and what you are is stubborn. And you can be stubborn for as long as you want but it is not going to alter what is real. This man does not want to be your man! It is you that is initiating everything at this point. It sound to me like he is responding begrudgingly so first love or no, if you have any class or consideration for him at all, you will relent.

So to answer your question, no. Don’t wait, because I think he’s already gone. If I am wrong, when you drop off, he’ll pursue you and then you’ll know.
