I don’t doubt this. How can a miser be happy? It’s the difference between Jupiter and Saturn. Saturnine people would be well advised to cultivate Jupiter qualities and with Jupiter transiting Capricorn now is the time.

Shaina, I get it. There are people who are supposed to be compassionate but are anything but and this reminds me of a story. I once knew this gal, she was a triple Pisces and she was a friend of mine. She worked in the healing arts and she was enormously kind and helpful to me. She was kind and helpful to all kinds of people, however she treated her boyfriend terribly.

What I’ve noticed is that people who habitually give always seems to have something to give while people who do not give seem bereft.

This is seen astrologically in the fact that Jupiter and Saturn balance each other. There is an old adage out there, that says if you want to feel better (Saturn / depression), do something for someone else (Jupiter / generosity). Since we’re talking Jupiter, the bigger the better.

Do you see a connection between giving and good cheer?
