Moon, Mars and Saturn conjunct in Virgo.

Sounds stupid but if there were ever a day this applied, this is it.

The Sun and Venus are conjunct in Cancer - Family! The Moon is in Leo and if you’ve not see Little Miss Sunshine, well 7 year old, Olive has one of the biggest hearts you’ll ever run across. Meet her family…

Mars is conjunct Saturn which is akin to having Mars in Capricorn where it is exalted.

It’s an excellent time to commit to making an effort. People who join their forces will be strongly supported and backed by a trine to Pluto. Simply put, if you’ve got a mountain to climb, now is the time to start.

The Moon opposed Pluto overnight (United States) so some of us may wake to find our mood disturbed.

If you want to milk it you can but you can also shed the feelings pretty readily as things improve as each hour passes and the Moon is new (and conjunct Venus) later this evening.

The sky (and consequently life) is hard to parse today when it comes to the individual. There is a Sun Venus conjunction in Cancer while the Moon and Mercury are conjunct in Gemini.

Put together we’ve got 4 of the 5 bodies that are considered “personal” in signs that have little to say to each other. Er… the Sun and Venus want to hole up at home family. The Moon and Mercury crave a social whirl.

It’s like cooking home food for your family while you have a superficial chat on the phone with a near stranger. Somethin’ ain’t right in the milk!

Just a quick note - I was writing the forecasts for the next 5 or 6 days and if you’re struggling today (I know for a fact some are), you can expect things to improve here pretty quick.

If this were a weather forecast it would be a week of smooth sailing for the most part.

Way things have been and the way they are headed it really seems prudent to me to milk a series of days like the one coming up for all it’s worth.

Anyone need a break out there? (It’s comin’!)

Things are sluggish as the Moon in Gemini squares Saturn and we cope with all the planets in retrograde.

Mars is trine Pluto and heading into a conjunction with Saturn in Virgo so people will in be getting things done, it’s just not likely to be very satisfying.

The Moon in Taurus is purported to be peaceful but considering it’s headed into square aspect with fiery Mars in Leo, your nap may be challenged.

On the flip, waking a sleeping dog may provoke the beast.

Jupiter, Chiron, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are all retrograde now so keep that in mind as you try to progress. Essentially it means a there will be a lot of looking back as you go forward… also going to have to bat clean up in certain areas in your life.

As a real life example, the soldier has obviously gone through and entire life change over the last year. He went to school, and drove a truck for a year to be able to get to me. He’s moved across the country and a dozen other things.

We are going forward not but last night he sat down to write a long letter to his son in Iraq to catch him up on the events of the last year. It took him 2 hours to write, but this has got to be done.

So that’s the flavor of these next weeks. Sort of frustrating for fire signs which see little reason for “reverse” and maybe Capricorn who prefers to be achieving at all times. Frustrating but freakishly important and necessary.
