Mars makes a dramatic entrance into Leo accompanied by the Moon. Alllll right!

It’s a freakish relief to see Mars leave Cancer, the sign of it’s detriment where has been stuck for months. On top of that, he lands in a fire sign which makes me think of something stupid, why do you suppose they say “Fight fire with fire?”  Why not, “Fight fire with water?”

Hmm.

The collective mood improves as the the Moon in Cancer contacts Jupiter and enjoys a trine from Uranus.

The Sun in Taurus is also trine Jupiter so all in all we’ve got quite a bit of optimism out there… always appreciated.

The Moon in Cancer opposes Pluto in Capricorn. Some sense the underpinnings are unstable and see their security fears surface.  Others deny or project their fear.

Meanwhile, Mars is about ready to kick out of Cancer - HOORAY!

I hope you had fun eating like a hog the last two days because now the Moon (stomach) is in nervous Gemini and squaring Saturn. Sound like we best get back to work to me.

We’ve still got 6 bodies in Earth signs so a second day of feasting is indicated. Sorry all you Air signs but fact is you do have a body, just look down with your head, verify and head to the refrigerator or the grocery or some restaurant where they don’t skimp on portions!

Satisfaction is what you’re after. Food, sex, tactile things.

The Moon conjunct Venus in Taurus as part of a Grand Trine in Earth. All together we’ve got six bodies in Earth signs so for Godsakes eat something would ya?  Have a meal, says the Italian mother in me. You look like a stick and a bag of bones!

The impulsive Aries Moon moves out from Saturn and into a square with Jupiter and people really want to break out.  Saturn is direct - Let’s get this show on the road.

Mercury has also left Taurus for it’s home sign Gemini and while this helps unstick movement considerably there is still the square from Saturn to deal with. Just know impediments that are here today will be gone tomorrow.

We’re all going to pivot here as Saturn goes direct but rather than bursting through the gate like the Moon in Aries would prefer, we will all be taking off more like a herd of turtles. ::smiles::

This because Mercury is in slow Taurus headed to square Saturn.

And I would tell you to just forget about leaping ahead or jumping the gun if it were not hopeless but with the Moon in Aries you are going to act impulsivly so go right ahead and jump… right into the mud.  Or go ahead and jump… only to find out short turtle legs can’t jump worth a damn.

Saturn has been retrograde for some months slowing or postponing progress all together. The planet goes direct tomorrow - this is like the day before the big (long distance) race and this Leonard Cohen song came to mind:

Venus has left Aries, the sign of it’s detriment to land in it’s home sign, Taurus. This should dramatically reduce conflict  especially since Venus forms a Grand Trine in Earth with Saturn in Virgo and Pluto in Capricorn.

Lovers (Venus) who are deeply (Pluto) committed (Saturn) will be particualarly soothed but anyone can access this energy.

For example a deep (Pluto) tissue (Saturn) massage from a woman (Venus) would be heaven on earth on a day like today.

Working (Saturn) to create something beautiful (Taurus / Venus) would also get you into the trine. Pluto would pull it’s strings on a subconcuous level.

Taking responsibility (Saturn) for your patterns (Pluto) in relationship (Venus) is yet another way and you get the idea.

There is other jarring crap out there and some depression but you know me - if there is a day off on offer, it’s always a good idea to take it expecially in this current climate.
