“That does it!” he said. “I am going to have to put together my own show with my own clothes. It’ll be great, P. I’ll have these big pots of molten steel pouring out of buckets as a backdrop.”

“Yeah?”

“Yeah. And I’ll have all this heavy equipment around. You know. Big hunks of steel. Big machines and jagged shit. Tractors and stuff. Maybe a machine gun or two.”

“I have to figure out my clothes for this trip,” I said, Venus in Leo contemplating options in costuming.

“Me too,” the soldier said. “I have to decide about my clothes as well. I have to figure out if I should bring white socks or white socks with gray patches.”

He is always a man and always a soldier - he knows exactly who he is. He does not know who I am but is pretty confident we have never met before and thinks I am pretty new (but does not know this for sure).

He says he has never been loved before in any of his lives and is amazed someone loves him this life and he is not sure why this came about. It is and was unexpected and his only thought on this is that perhaps he has finally paid enough of his dues. Prior to this life he did not think this possible and overall it is a puzzle to him why this would occur.

Getting beat up in many ways by Saturn’s opposition to Venus in Pisces however I can see how some things are getting straightened out. Now I have Venus in aspect to Neptune which would indicate tastes that morph and the relationship I am in has a lot to say about the direction. I have changed relationships in the last year or so but my wardrobe has not caught up. Venus Neptune is notorious for confusion and under the current sky I feel pressured to focus on this and figure it out (Saturn in Virgo).

“Well I have no need to look that good anymore. I was walking around like I belonged in a painting all the time and while I am glad I learned to do that, I just don’t have the need anymore.”

“I understand.”

I was talking about my days with the AMF who was a painter. He really taught me how to put clothes together.

satori caught this one. I was talking to her about shopping today, I caught a glimpse of myself in very harsh light and egads! I have degraded!

Not to say I feel bad because I don’t. I feel okay about aging, it was just that saw I saw it all at once and I was telling satori it was just as well. You want to find this stuff out before you buy new clothes rather than after so you can make adjustments.

“Yeah, you just have to be very careful what you wear when you’re old. You can still look good (Venus in Pisces) but you really have to scrutinize everything you put on (Virgo) and remember your age (Saturn).

“Is there something in the sky?” she asked. “Because I had this same conversation with someone else today…”

So yeah, there is something in the sky. Saturn in Virgo says mind your age if you want to look good (Venus)!

It was also a good day to see my age because with Venus in Pisces, transcendence is easy to achieve.

“I want you to say goodbye to my yellow purse,” I told the soldier last time I saw him. “This is going. You won’t see it again.”

“Ah, P, do you have to?”

“I do. I am tired of this. I like a yellow purse but I am sick of it now.”

“I think you should have a yellow purse AND yellow pants.”

“Well you don’t get to think about this. I am sorry but I am not having this purse any more and I figure you liked it so I wanted to warn you…”

Today I went shopping and there are big yellow purses EVERYWHERE. I have had mine for 2 years - I hate when I have to find a new quirk and I know you Aquarians can relate. My mother (double Aquarius) used to be entirely frustrated when people started doing what she was doing but if you go far enough out there, then you can be safe for a good number of years.

As an example, there is the Aquarian in the gym who wears a dish towel on his head. So far that guy is safe.

Back in the 80’s my sister sent me this book, Obsession: The Lives and Times of Calvin Klein. She is interested in fashion but besides that she thought Calvin Klein an interesting study in Scorpio.

Calvin Klein has Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars in Scorpio which is plenty for anyone and if you want proof just look at his body. Does he not look like an actual scorpion? You see this with anyone (man or woman) who has a lot of Scorpio especially as they age. It’s almost spooky.

As to his other Scorpio qualities… well someone had the balls to kidnap his daughter in 1978. Major mistake, kidnapping a Scorpio’s child. Klein was up all night smoking cigarettes and pacing in Scorpio style and then insisted on delivering the ransom money himself in what turned out to be a successful sting operation.

My sister also pointed out he never had an original idea in his life. (Scorpios use other people’s energy) All his designs were adapted off someone else’s innovation and you also learn in the book, he has a business partner who he cannot do without. As I recall they had already been partnered for a decade before Klein became famous, this reflects the loyalty of a Scorpio’s inner circle.

Anyway, it was the picture that prompted me to write this because just look at that Scorpio body and posture. Next time you see that out there, you’ll know.

The soldier read Kate’s article, you might be able to imagine his reaction. He played both her date and the waiter, “Marco”. Later we were talking about the shoulder pads women wore in the 80’s. The “Dynasty” look.

“What was that? Women trying to assert themselves?”

“I guess. I have never seen that as the way to have power as a woman. That stuff is coming back by the way. Clothes with origami shapes. Pointy clothes.”

He groaned. “I don’t understand why women do that. They’ve got the p***** and they have been running the world since the beginning of time. Any man is going to do whatever it takes to so he can get the p*****. How can women not know this? They have all the power, they always have and I am sure they always will.”
