For awhile there I was writing about feeling very dog-ish. I used to include this option in polls -> “Elsa, I have evolved beyond the animal kingdom”.

In contrast I am very aware of acting in a way that primal and ultra organic in many if not most circumstances. I couldn’t say if this is good or bad, it is just my way and the tendency certainly shows up in my chart. This weekend - It was intense. We saw a couple movies, we got those old pictures, etc.

I was wondering if you had ever done a blog on MARS SQUARE, OPPOSITION OR INCONJUNCT PLUTO? This has been my most interesting find to date in this subject. All the men so far with this aspect are congenital adulterers and the female counterparts have been abused physically and sexually molested in their lives. I know of a few women with these apsects who go through one man after another and never learn to be faithful until late in life..and some never do.

One I know who is in her 60’s constantly has at least three men she is seeing (if not more) and this has been going on for since her teens. Astrology has been a research project for me since the late 60’s and the karmic and spiritual parts have been the most rewarding as it gives us reasons why we are here and what for to overcome…

t-carat writes in regards to the soldier’s asserting that men act differently when women are around as opposed to when they are by themselves:

“They don’t want to get into a crummy fort, they want to get into where the decisions that affect the world are made and where the money is.

If a man can’t work and be himself where women are he’s been living in a cave for the last 2-3 decades…”

t-carat - in soldier’s case it’s been a lot longer that 3 decades he’s been living in a cave. Try many, many lifetimes, but here’s the thing:

I am not sure that relationship between men and women has actually evolved… or that it even can evolve. Women binding their feet years ago in China, did so to attract a man. These days they get breast implants and shoot their faces full of botox and I don’t see the difference. A woman gets money and power and her crotch still aches for a man.

Looking around in 2007, it may appear things have changed, but have they really? From the soldier’s (historical) perspective they have not changed at all. Estrogen is estrogen and testosterone, testosterone. We can dress it up in various ways but does that actually alter anything beneath the surface?

Do you think the interaction between men and women is primal / hard wired or do you think it’s on the move?

I was talking to a pal:

“I have a friend who thinks along the lines of old souls… new souls,” I said. I wrote about this on my blog and people got pissed. I guess they don’t like people judging that. Who knows. I really have no idea why it bothered people but it did. To me, it just seems this is something she knows. And although I don’t know anything about it, I don’t see why it would not be valid. People don’t know the same things, right? It seems to me we would have different information. For example, I know some things and I just know them. So why wouldn’t she know what she knows?”

“I don’t know.”

“Me neither. So I think I’ll be here again. I think I’ll have another life but have no idea if I have ever been here before.”

“Briefly.”

“Briefly?”

“You died as a kid. You were only here a short time. You were here, not long at all.”

“I was killed?”

“No. Sick.”

“Sick?”

Do you believe in past and future lives or do you think this is a one shot deal?

People got pretty cranky the last time the idea of “old souls” and levels of evolution came up on the blog here, Old Souls, Lightweights, Blank Slates.

However I still discuss this with one of my friends who thinks in this paradigm. And the things she has to say seem both accurate and simple when she says them, so I still this this is something she knows.

“I don’t know if you remember,” I said. “But you told me once you thought *this person was more (spiritually) evolved than *this other person.”

“I don’t remember saying it, but I agree with that. I think that’s right.”

“I see. And then I’m somewhere in there. And you think *this person is more spiritually evolved than I am, right?”

“Yes, I do. But you have more answers than he does,” she said.

“I don’t know about that, but I agree on the evolution. Personally I don’t think I am evolved at all. I am nearly completely raw. I mean, I was just on my blog and what am I doing? I’m writing about chasing and craving men and iron,” I laughed. “That’s my big thought for the day. I just want to know one thing. Where is the testosterone and how can I lay my hands on some?”

She laughed.

“Yeah. So I can’t be very far along having thoughts like that. However I am very good at being the person I am. And people who are evolved? I support them. I sustain them even.”

She was listening.

“I think I must be a jester, or something. I am the muse to the King. And where would the court be with no jester? I don’t even want to think about it. I don’t think you can have a court with no jester? How can you?”

“You can’t.”

“Well that’s what I think. So people like me are enormously important. You can’t do without us as far as I can see. Good luck to you, living with no muse. Have fun with that. Try to survive if you can! And I don’t know it this is right or not. But whatever I am, I’m a very pure version. You know. I broadcast loud and clear and I am satisfied being this person.”
