Saturn Is Conjunct Venus - Are You Worthless As A Parent?
Astrology in real life
Last night I was talking to the soldier about writing his son. “Yeah, I tell him I love you all the time. I tell him allll the time. He probably doesn’t know what to make of it. Some woman loves his dad? How the hell could that happen.”
“Well, P, he probably thinks you’re crazy.”
“Yeah, maybe. Or maybe he thinks you’re the crazy one,” I said.
“Well he probably takes that as a given.”
“Oh. Well at least we’re colorful. That’s got to be something..?”
“Yeah, we’re colorful all right. Lot of good that’s gonna do him. They’re colorful…” He sneered and I laughed.
I was going to tell him how important I think entertainment is but I changed my mind because I was imagining us both colored with crayons and I was so entertained I forgot.

Leo In Their Own Words…
Leo is associated with creativity, drama, ego, heart, children, etc…
A grownup is a child with layers on.

“To me, the whole process of being a brushstroke in someone else’s painting is a little difficult.”

The unique thing about bodybuilding is that when I compete it is just me on a stage alone. There is no field, no bat, no ball, no skis, no skates. All other athletes have to use equipment, like a football. But I don’t use anything in competition except myself. It’s just me up there. Me alone. No coach. No nothing.
Arnold Schwarzenegger
“I’m the King of the World!”
James Cameron
I spent a lot of time with a crown on my head.
Halle Berry
As an architect with big hair who likes to paint things a golden yellow and is very loyal to friends and family (when I’m not yelling at them) I’d just like to point out that it’s just a coincidence that I’m a Leo.

Astrology In Real Life: Leo Quotes
Leo In Their Own Words…
Leo is assocatied with creativity, drama, ego, heart, children, etc…
If you have this enormous talent, it’s got you by the balls, it’s a demon. You can’t be a family man and a husband and a caring person and be that animal. Dickens wasn’t that nice a guy.
Dustin Hoffman
If they ever do my life story, whoever plays me needs lots of hair color and high heels.
Charlize Theron
“I can’t think of anything outside of having the gift yourself and creating yourself. I can’t think of the next better thing to do than being able to put it back. Creative expression, I think, is vital to the success of any society. … A society without art will die.”
Robert Redford
I love luxury. And luxury lies not in richness and ornateness but in the absence of vulgarity. Vulgarity is the ugliest word in our language. I stay in the game to fight it.
Coco Chanel
I LOVE LOVE LOVE my leo ascendant! Doesn’t that say it all?

Speaking Of LEO - Let’s Talk About Them, They Love That!
Astrology in real life
When I think of Leo the firs thing I think of is hair so on that note:
Moon Maintenance Plan: Hair Secrets From The Heavens by Susan Larsen
And I just want to point out that Alfred Hitchcock was a Leo and how dramatic was he? And how confident! Theater, man. What would we do without it?
And what about “The Greatest Show On Earth!” Too much ego in that you think?
How about we all go PC and call our productions “Good Show But No Better Than Yours!” It’s ludicrous. The sun SHINES in Leo.
For that matter the Sun itself is Leo ruled and no one is going to be around for long if that thing burns out.
I cringe at the idea of a world devoid of Leo energy. That girl in the gym who works out in full makeup, dripping in gold jewelry and drapes her jacket onto the crosstrainer next to her as a if were the cape of a queen? What is that if not entertainment for Godsakes?

Pluto Transit To The Moon - Mine: Home Invasion
Astrology in Real Life…
CD writes one the Pluto Moon Transit Home Invasion Blog:
“What I wouldn’t like about it (besides having to do housework) is that they are coming in with an *agenda* - that they are coming into my home but they are not necessarily on the side of the truth, but on the side of ratings…”
CD - It’s a good point and one I have considered. However Frontline is a pretty even-handed program. They seem to do a good job presenting a story in as real a life way as possible.
Where the ratings come in for them, (I think) is in choosing people to profile who are naturally provocative. So while I would expect to be contrasted against someone with a different approach I would not expect to be edited in a way that would be egregious to me though I am aware this could happen.
Another interesting wrinkle… if you read my story “Little Mike” it involves another “home invasion” and ironically I was watching a Frontline type show at the time. I just find this kind of thing striking.
“Little Mike” was midget… the camera followed him around allowing the viewers a glimpse into his life and it’s various challenges and I was mesmerized by that show. And there was no agenda. Little Mike himself carried the whole program and the audience was left to draw their own conclusions which I strongly feel will be the case with this program.
Oddly enough this is another reason I am compelled to allow this. If Little Mike can do it (my God but he was a dour character) surely we can. We are much happier people and sort of bulletproof anyway, if you know what I mean.

ElsaElsa - The Astrology Show… And Update
Behind the Scenes @ ElsaElsa
To update the TV show, it has not been forgotten. We tested some software that would allow me to broadcast and though it seemed to work very well, I guess it didn’t work well! Because it sucked up all the CPU on my computer leading HQ to conclude we needed to use a web-based… whatever it’s called. We need a web-based solution.
Now this was with Mercury retrograde and you have to figure it was just as well we didn’t launch even though I looked good that day and as I suspected I have not looked that good since.
So having hit this snag, coming up with the web-based solution has been the next task. It has been being developed and from what I understand we will be testing it later today. So that’s that.
Now meantime, I have all kinds of idea for this thing, many of them wild. It very much feels like when I started blogging in 2001. I was blathering something fierce back then and oh my God, I am still doing it.
And this is how I feel about this show. There is no end to my ideas for it, in spite of having no idea what exactly it is I am going to do. I imagine it depends on what you do, huh? I am such a co-dependent…
Which is something we could talk about, huh? Is being co-dependent the end of the world. I don’t think so! I could state my case and you can state yours, and you other person can state yours, and you other person can state yours… we can all argue and make jokes about Libras and that’ll be it! Today’s amusement! La, La, La, Libra!
All you Aries could come slaughter us. Get blood all over our doilies… ha ha ha!

ElsaElsa - The Astrology Show… Ideas!
Outtakes and Various Other Sundries…
I was talking to a pal, she’s a Pisces.
“I had an idea for your show,” she said. “You could have a segment called, ask a Pisces.”
I laughed.
‘Yeah and I could do it. I’m a Pisces,” she said, brightly.
“What would it be like?” I asked. Continue reading ElsaElsa - The Astrology Show… Ideas!

Venus Saturn / Neptune and the Hapless Capricorn, Me
Astrology in Real Life…
Speaking of the current Venus Saturn conjunction opposing Neptune, last night we tried to get the show going. I don’t like to see myself or hear myself but yesterday I looked freakishly good.
I have no idea how this happened, but I was thinking that if we got the thing up and running I would have to immediately explain…:
“I know I look good, but don’t get used it because I don’t actually look this good. In fact I have never looked this good in my life and I don’t think I can do it again so Godsakes don’t expect it.”
::smiles::
But as it turned out, Mercury is retrograde and we ran into a mysterious snag and I was somewhat relieved. The last thing I want is to look better than I actually look, you know?
Or maybe you don’t know. However, this is how it is.

ElsaElsa - The Astrology Show
Outtakes and Various Other Sundries…
Well I’m excited! I am going to have a live show here pretty quick. TV, on the internet, this is, except it will be interactive! Which means I’ll be able to talk to you and you to me.
We can talk about anything we want. You will also be able to each other (live) and eventually I will be able to bring some of the characters I have written about for years and you can talk to them as well.
For example today and last night there has been talk of the soldier in the comments. I have gotten email as well, so how about he comes on and you guys ask him questions directly, hmm? He would never get on camera, however I am pretty sure he would sit next to me off-camera and answer your questions with his TWANG! He loves to provoke, right? And he has Venus in Gemini you know. He is positively glib.
And cf can come on. Get her going and there is nothing like it in the world. And what about quirky Albert? You guys want to meet him? Well you’re going to be able to.
I have no idea exactly how this is going to work, but with a little luck we’re going to have a super quirky fun and funny show… pure entertainment but with depth and the substance and totally ad-libbed!
So today, I am pretty sure I am going to get to see how this works and from what I gather we should be up and running very soon. So what should I call this? ElsaElsa - The Astrology Show? What do you guys think?
