Open Question: Your Opinion Of Energy Vampires Or Thieves

Astrology in real life

thief-yellow.jpgs said on Using Other People’s Energy:

“Cold-blooded is all I can say about lack of reciprocity. Vampires of the spirit. Have to add that, too.”

I thought this was interesting because I’ve never considered people who do this do be cold-blooded though they may be. What I have always considered them to be is foolish, short-sighted and sort of the epitome of stupid.  It just seems if someone is in a position to help you it makes no sense to take a lousy five bucks off them rather than establishing a relationship that can (and probably will) be sustained because it is mutually beneficial.

It reminds me of something Henry wrote once, that is that a thief has to keep moving all the time. They can never stop because they get discovered while an honest man can stay in one place.

This is another thing I imagine will come to the front with Pluto in Capricorn. Integrity = power.

How do you see the energy thief?  What do you think drives them? What are they thinking when they take the five bucks?

Astrology, Power And Using Other People’s Energy To Achieve Your Goals - My 8th House And Pluto In Capricorn

Astrology in real life

treadmill.jpgI agree I am strange unless you understand astrology in which case it can be made apparent I am merely a grand example of a packed 8th house. I am someone who consciously uses the energy of others and offers energy so others can do same.  It is in this vein that I post so much about the soldier who is a rich source of energy of various types.

Now he’s got a Cardinal T-square involving Mars, Mercury, and Saturn which he puts to good use. He is phenomenally studied and disciplined and if you’ve need to focus your energy; your skills can only improve via exposure to him. (swearing below break)

Astrology, Anger, Depression And The Expression Of Your Mars Energy

Astrology in real life

marsLynn Hayes of the Astrodynamics blog writes on People Who Hate Me, Guessing Reality:

“I’m just impressed that you find time to go to the gym.”

Thank you, Lynn but for a person like me the gym is non-negotiable. As many know, my sister is also an astrologer,we have both studied since we were pre-teen and she caught on to this Mars of mine, 25 years ago. Her exact words were, “Don’t let that shit back up on you.”

Open Question: What Planet’s Energy Do You Feel You Represent In The World?

Ask the collective Submit your own open question

zodiac astrology dressYesterday I had a consultation with a Pisces client and while she identifies with her Sun sign, she is a Capricorn rising with ruler Saturn part of a stellium in conjunct her ascendant and anyway you turn it, this woman is a Saturn figure. She is an parent / authority figure, plain and simple.

Other people are very Plutonian. You can’t get anywhere near them without being changed on a cellular level.

Others are strongly aligned with Jupiter. They cheer and expand you. They take you places you have never been… encourage you towards adventure.

Neptune types teach you to dream and escape the mundane, Mercurial people teach you think, something underrated, I’d say.

Moon types nurture and Venus types offer comfort, art, beauty and relationship.

Mars is a brave hero and solar types show us how to shine and be vitally alive.

Which of these energies do you feel you most represent?

Wasting Another Person’s Time And Energy… Wasting Your Own

Astrology in real life

christmas treeSpeaking of wasting another person’s energy it just occurred to me that people who waste my energy invariably waste their own. I guess we could call these people “sinks”.

My first husband, a mega Scorpio and an electrical engineer introduced me to the concept of “sink” and “source” when it comes to energy about 20 years ago. He explained there was only so much juice coming from a socket in the wall.

“There’s enough to light up a Christmas tree,” he said. “But if you keep plugging things into that source, the lights on the tree are going to dim.”

I took this in at the time and have kept a close eye out for “sinks” ever since because I want to be a brightly lit tree not something bled out by leeches. And sometimes I get contacted by someone like this (a sink) who wants a consultation.

This is rare by the way. These days with the blog and all, virtually everyone who contacts me knows exactly what they are looking for but on occasion I get a time waster. A time waster is someone who wants to go tra la la around every issue. They say, “That’s interesting” a lot and stay way, way aloof and detached and you know what I think?

I think, why don’t you go masturbate or something?

Ha ha ha.

Or sit in therapy for the next 12 years, and waste someone else’s time?

And I don’t think this is cold. It is just not my style to take someone’s money and get nothing done. If you come to me the tumor is coming out. It’s very simple. If you don’t want your tumor out, then stay away from the surgeon!

Do you respect a person’s time? What about your own? Do you think these things are connected?

Manipulating Energy - Death And Money: Pluto, Scorpio And The 8th House

dollarI continued to explain to the soldier, my position on the exchange of energy that takes place when someone dies…

“The idea you inherit energy is no different than when someone dies and someone else gets their money which is something everyone understands. Think about it. Some rich guy dies and his money goes out all over. It goes where it goes and ultimately people are empowered by it. They get richer.”

“Yeah.”

“Okay, well money is just one form of energy, isn’t it? And it’s not even particularly valuable if you ask me. I mean, it’s money but there are other things / forms of energy I think are preferable.”

He stared.

Manipulating Energy - Legacy And Inheritance: Pluto, Scorpio And The 8th House

pluto planet paperweight“Well I am his legacy,” I explained the soldier regarding my father. “I inherit his energy whether I like it or not. It is no different than you and your son. Your son is your legacy… doesn’t matter if he wants it that way because it is that way. See him on that video and whose grin is that?” I asked.

“My grin.”

“Right. And regardless who my father is or what he’s done, I look just like him. I have his hair and the guy had charisma you know. He had no shortage of charisma so I can thank him for mine. And because I am his legacy, the older and weaker he becomes the stronger I become. I believe this. His energy is passing to me.”

Manipulating Energy: Pluto, Scorpio And The 8th House

Astrology in real life

knife“Well I think energy is energy,’ I explained to the solider. “And it’s neutral until it’s directed. This means a person can go ahead and stab me if they like, but as I always say, if you do then I get your knife.”

“That’s fine, P, except people who stab you don’t usually leave their knife they take it with them.”

“The actual knife, yes. But what good does that do them? The exchange of energy has taken place. The event happens and I now have that energy… which is neutral until I direct it and what I do with it is my own affair. It is my own business.”

He stared.

Astrology In Real Life: Use Your Energy In A Positive Way - Yeah, But How?

Astrology in real life…

venus at her mirror Vel¡zquezSay you’ve got a problem. And let’s say you’ve got the hang of astrology or perhaps you consult an astrologer and they isolate some problem or pathology to a specific aspect in your chart. Now what?

Well if the astrologer is me, they will tell you the energy is yours and that energy is neutral until directed, meaning you can find a positive way to channel it. And I haven’t written specifically on this topic so I thought I’d start.

Astrology And Aptitude: Using Your Energy Effectively

Astrology in real life…

dice thrownI told someone today that I felt like dice thrown. The dice land some kind of way and that’s that. Your natal chart. “You get what you get and you don’t throw a fit.”

Last month I was talking that group of administrators at my daughter’s school and I learned something new. I found out that children with normal IQ’s were wholly capable of outperforming their peers with higher IQ’s simply by applying themselves. I got the idea this not only happened, it was usual and it’s not hard to imagine why.

The super smart kids know they are smart and may opt to glide on that. Meanwhile the other kids extend an effort and wind up not only catching up but surpassing their brighter peers.

And I think this idea can be applied to astrology. I see so many chart with promise that is not realized. This is disturbing, isn’t it?

Do you feel you use what you have on hand?
