Foreboding vs Meeting Your Fate And The Gift / Curse Of Astrology

Astrology in real life

I can’t remember for sure but I think I wrote about the soldier and his / our “whirlwind”. He had a premonition of sorts one day. He saw dark clouds on the horizon, threatening. A storm was going to kick up, a big one. He felt we’d both be sucked into it… a whirlwind.

I questioned him intently but he did not have much more he could offer. It left me with this scene from the Wizard of Oz in my head.

His Scorpio Moon And My 8th House: Translating Normal People For The Anomoly

Astrology in real life

cia.jpgThis for today’s Mercury Pluto - discussing (Mercury) the shadow / psychology /death (Pluto)

“What is it that people don’t believe I was in Special Forces?” the soldier asked. Do you know when I have told someone that, not once have they believed me. Not once in my whole life have I been believed so why is that, P? What is it about me that makes it seem as if I was not in Special Forces?”

“Oh, it’s not personal. That’s just not something anyone is going to believe - You wouldn’t believe it yourself.”

Astrology And Happiness: Here Are Some Tricks - Try Denial

Catch up on this series - Can Happiness Be Taught Or Trained?

sun_desert.jpgThere are some less obvious ways happy people stay happy. Many of us use denial. Denial has a bad rap which I see as ridiculous. People could not survive without this mechanism and denial takes many forms.

Now the soldier and I have difficult lives and always have. You’re just going to have to take my word for that but regardless of that we are both very happy people. As been reported on this blog before, he can be completely content in a foxhole in the middle of a war, or sleeping on a rock.  As for myself, back when I was a homeless teenager, I had distinct awareness I was happier than most and by far.

Saturn, Neptune And The Denial Of Reality - What Happens When The Veil Lifts?

Astrology in real life

bug.gifI have a strong Saturn / Neptune signature in my chart. It is chronically and constantly in play… I have to cope with a constantly appearing and disappearing reality as as attuned and aware of this as I may be, sometimes things happen that truly boggle.

Saturn rules fear and mixed with Neptune (Saturn in Pisces, Saturn in the 12th, Saturn and Neptune in aspect, Saturn in the 10th etc.), hologram fear is always part of the picture.

On the flip side a person will deny or erase their fear and it is quite a phenomena when you witness it up close.  The veil lifting that is. The veil that separates a person from reality, that is.  Last night I was lying in bed with the soldier, chatting.

“Squash me like a bug,” I said.  “Oh no. You could squash me like a bug if you wanted to.”

Gemini Hell - Part Two - The Interaction

This is a true story, you can catch up here:
Part One - Elsa P And Her Hero, Billy: The Collision

The Interaction

aquarius real estate signWhy doomed? Well, I may have a Leo Venus, but it’s just a streak in my personality. The meat lies elsewhere. I am an intense piece of work! Venus gets her due. She may have a little fun, promenade around a few times but the rest of me wasn’t going to set up shop with Billy, no way no how.

Not that I was thinking this at the time. I was thinking about how good we looked. Then later, I’d realize he was dating my hair and boy would that piss me off.

So let me tell you something: There are a couple ground rules for dating a Leo / Leo rising man and one of them is that you cannot cut your hair. Unless he has Venus in Aquarius in which case you can cut one side of your hair. Don’t believe me? If you have a Leo man at home, try this:

The Limits Of Denial… This Is Where I Draw The Line

Astrology in real life

broccoli.jpgSpeaking of my Saturn (limits) Neptune (denial) nature, yesterday I learned it only goes so far.

I was making or trying to make the synastry videos on Monday before I headed off to one of those meetings. I got the first two in the can but struggled with the third either because I fumbled something, I was waaaay to emphatic or I was otherwise interrupted.

For example my phone kept ringing and I was not in a position where I could turn it off and this chaos was reflected in the sky of course in the form or hard aspects to my Mars Mercury conjunct. Er… try to just talk, not pound people into the ground and never mind the jarring interference and the ticking clock. This was the scenario but I finally, finally got the third video done and then went off to my appointment.

Astrology And Psychology: More On Elsa P The Hologram And The Upside Of Denial

Astrology in real life

bombed-house.jpgI was on the phone with satori, talking about my life near the end of Pluto’s transit to my Moon

“You know that astrology conference is in Denver, there are going to be all kinds of people here, astrologers I mean and some of them are going to want to meet me. Hey! Let’s go over the Elsa’s.” I laughed.

Defending Denial: Is It Really Such A Dirty Word? The Opposition Between Virgo and Pisces In Astrology

Astrology in real life

I love this topic. Denial is one of those things that has a bad rap. No one is ever supposed to be in denial even though we all are at various times about various things for various very important reasons.

This goes along with the discussion a couple days ago about coping in crisis. I have found you are often better off not knowing it all as “all” when there is so much going on because if you could did it would overwhelm the psyche.

As an example, I have recently come through intense crisis. And apparently I gained some weight in the midst of this but lucky for me I did not know it. Everyone else knew it but I blurred it out because I just could not cope with even one more thing at the time. As things eased, I was able to see myself in the mirror and get back on track but boy am I grateful this was not shoved in my face at the time.

This subject is relevant now with Mercury (logic) in Pisces, a sign accused of denial but “denial” with the judgment taken out might be called, faith in God or faith in the universe which so many recommend. Because if it belongs in your lap it will surely wind up there eventually so here is this story about the soldier again, this time with a footnote below…

Eventually the soldier found out unequivocally that his wife was cheating on him and he divorced her immediately as he always said he would. “If I were to find out for sure… but I was never sure.” Had he faced this earlier his life would have been different for sure but who says it would have been better? And what about his son? The soldier’s son grew up with 2 parents courtesy the soldier’s denial. Does Saturn in Virgo want to judge that?
