I clicked on Drudge and saw the DC Madam had committed suicide. I know for a fact that astrologer, Claire-France Perez knows her and thought to call her when the news broke but figured others would be doing the same thing so I waited a few hours.

But when I read she killed herself in a shed I just shook my head. A shed? A shed!!!!

I am sorry by my Italian-ness and my criminal mind thinks that is ridiculous. Upscale this and that do not kill themselves in sheds for Godsakes! I called cf.

I asked her if she thought this woman the type to kill herself - Claire-France had actually warned her of danger due the retrograde Mars (and told me the same some months ago on the phone).

As far as I am concerned the shed part of this equation is a clear communication. Claire-France is going to write about this for my blog - Stay tuned.

My kid lost another tooth last night and per usual there was hardship and trauma attached. He proudly pulled this one himself than ran down the hall to get something to put it in, tripping on the way and seeing the thing go flying and he was distraught.

See, we couldn’t find the tooth. You’d think we’d have been able to find the tooth, both of us crawling up and down the hall on our knees (Saturn) over and over but that tooth was history and he was sooooooo upset although I tried to reassure him the Tooth Fairy would still show up. What is it with the current transit of Mercury through Scorpio? I have never seen so much junk under rocks in my life! Is it because the planet is slowed down ready to go retrograde? Must be.

Dear Issues,

It is clear that you have problems and need help beyond what I can offer in an advice blog. But perhaps I can give you some clues that will send you in the right direction.

First, you have no separation with your family. I don’t care if you traveled around the world and thought yourself independent: you carry their energy. The way I like to put it is, you have swallowed them whole. They live in you.

If you question this, go look in the mirror. Whose eyes are those? Whose eyebrows? You can see the physical manifestation of this, and I assure you this merge with your family takes place on other (all) levels.

So using this analogy, you can comb your (inherited) hair however you want. You can dye your hair or shave your head… but you can be sure that when your hair grows out, it’s going to be what? It is going to be your family hair. And you cannot escape this even if it is horribly disturbing to you.

And having Libra and a packed 7th house, I sure you want it to be them not you.
And having Aquarius rising I am sure you want to see yourself as an individual.
And having your Sun conjunct Neptune in Sagittarius, I am sure you want to be a high-minded spiritual sort.

But the fact remains, you have your family’s energy. The only way you are going to be able to resolve your problems is by understanding this, accepting and integrating it… so that ultimately you can have command of it and I’ll give you an example.

It is well and widely known that I was raised by a criminal and in fact I am not an innocent. I cop to having inherited a criminal mind and I use it on a daily basis to write this blog… which I feel is a high-minded service.

You can do the same with your family’s negative energy… but not until and unless you acknowledge you have been passed this baton.

A few blogs back, the solider was talking about how you can’t shake your upbringing. He was raised in a conservative family, steeped in tradition, his family and his roots where as I was raised by progressive, eccentric and ultra-detached, Aquarians. When I went to New York, I brought two books to read on plane. Michael Lutin’s, “SunShines: The Astrology of Being Happy” and “Why They Kill: The Discoveries of a Maverick Criminologist” by Richard Rhodes. I was stowing them seat back in front of me when it hit me how spastic it was even though I am very interested in being happy and murder and mayhem.

Generally I would read about one thing or the other. I’d be on a binge. But I read the books, chapter of this, chapter of that all the way to New York and back and I don’t know. I figured this must be a reflection of the (newly) progressed Gemini in my chart because I was having no problem going back and forth between subjects. I was positively deft and felt so light and detached about it all.

“Oh! Well that’s is interesting. Let’s look at this other thing…” See? Like I’m two people, talking to each other!

And I have no Gemini at all in my natal chart… or planets in the 3rd so this is all very marvelous for me to observe.
