Open Question: How Will Pluto In Capricorn Affect Capricorn Children?

Ask the collective

capricorn kidsDear Elsa,

My son is 8, and a Capricorn. I have been thinking about how Pluto in Capricorn is going to affect my adult Capricorn friends, and suddenly in occurred to me what about JD, as an 8 year old this is pretty big stuff. We are changing houses, schools, divorce: all that Jazz, so big changes set the stage right away, but it is a long journey in Pluto, for a little person growing up.

What do other people think about Capricorn children in this Pluto in Capricorn era?

Astrology And Children: Sun Conjunct Saturn @ 9 Years Old - “What Did You Tell Him?”

Astrology in real life

saturnJessica asked regarding Children With Difficult Aspects In Their Chart…

“So what do you tell Vidroid about Sun-Saturn? How do you phrase it to him?”

Rather than act like what has happened has not happened, I’ve told him that he has had to grow up very fast and that I am very sorry. I told him that I thought it was very unfortunate that he has had to take care of himself and has had to live without as much support as he deserves but that he has done an extraordinarily good job of taking care of not only himself but of his sister and for that matter, he has taken care of me. He has helped me tremendously and I told him I was incredibly proud of him for this.

I’ve also told him that I don’t know why some people have lives that are harder than others or how he got stuck with one of this type but that he had done a terrific job of coping and that I was sure that his life would get easier when he grew up. I came right out and told him, I did not really see how it could be worse so it would have to get better if he could just hang in.

Astrology And Single Parenting: Problems Providing Access To Venus And Mars, Yin And Yang Energy

Ask the collective

yin__yang.jpg“I am amazed at how different it is for my son with you here,” I told the soldier. “You only had to be around for a few hours for it to become very clear how much he lacks… there is no male energy here.”

He didn’t say anything.

“For example he’s got a problem with this pack of boys. He’s struggling with that and I mention it to you and you explain this whole thing… how one chicken gets pecked by all the other chickens. You outline bullying and know how to combat it. Basically you know what to do in a pack of boys where I don’t know much about being in a pack of boys. And even if I do have some idea I still don’t know how to handle the situation as a boy.”

Mars In Aspect To Mercury And The Things That Thrill These Freaks

Astrology in real life

scalpel.jpgThe soldier, my son and I all have Mars tied to Mercury one way or the other. Mars (cut) the mouth (Mercury). The soldier is going to have his autopsy / biopsy here pretty quick.

“I told Vidroid about your biopsy and he wants to go with us,” I said. “He’s dyin’ to go with us, he wants to take off school and go to surgery instead.”

He groaned because he’s not looking forward to having his cheek cut at all. “Oh my God. He wants to go to that?”

Astrology Today: “I Don’t Like Mondays…”

My eye on the sky

Brenda Ann SpencerThe Sun in the late degrees of Pisces now squares Pluto in the early degrees of Capricorn and Mars will be in play to form a T-square soon enough. Translated, the plot thickens.

People with planets at the late degrees of the Mutable signs (Virgo, Gemini, Sagittarius, Pisces) or early degrees of the Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) can expect a difficult week so whatever your coping skills, be ready to use them.

Saturn in Virgo is in tight opposition to Mercury in Pisces so communication is difficult, especially for Virgo, Gemini and Pisces and I wish I had better news but even the Moon in Leo is bugged out.
~~
The video is for distraction - Bob Geldorf and the Boomtown Rats circa 1979, singing “I Don’t Like Mondays” This from wikipedia:

“Geldof wrote the song after reading a telex report on the shooting spree of 16-year-old Brenda Ann Spencer, who fired at children playing in a school playground across the street from her home in San Diego, California. She killed two adults and injured eight children and one police officer. Spencer showed no remorse for her crime, and her explanation for her actions was “I don’t like Mondays.”

Sun Conjunct Saturn @ 8 Years Old - On Venomous Women, Etc.

Astrology in real life

evil angry witch“She’s an evil angry witch who is never nice to children,” my son explained.

“Ooh. I guess she is,” I said. “I hope I am nice to children. I think I am.”

“Yes, you’re nice. You’re a free-wheeling mother,” he said.

Guess who has Jupiter in aspect to his Moon? Whew! ::wipes brow:: Because the other night he told the soldier I burped.

“Oh for chrissakes, when?” I asked. “How many times have you even heard me burp in your life?”

Astrology And Children: Sun Conjunct Saturn @ 8 Years Old - Perhaps Not Rejected After All?

Astrology in real life

beauty beast belleRegarding my son terrible awful day when he was rejected by the girl he liked satori wrote:

“One thing too, I was so shy about boys at that age (though no one would have known it; I was pretty outgoing) that I would have said “no” even if the answer was yes. I would have been waaay too embarrassed for someone to know I liked a boy. I’m not sure that’s something you’d want to share with him, but it is possible.”

satori, turns out you might be quite right. I did share your idea with my son who thought this might explain things because while the lovely Belle (yes, that’s her name) did openly reject him, she continues to talk to him daily.

Speaking Of The Limitations Of Astrology - Here’s What Astrology Can Do… Help Your Child

Astrology in real life

epi_location.jpgI realized I didn’t answer Jessica’s question with the last blog so here goes:

As far as my son goes, I look at his Sun conjunct Saturn and I am aware of how difficult his struggle are and I just feel if he gets this one thing nailed… if he has someone he loves who loves him he will be able to cope with the rest. The soldier and I have a similar set up and this is why I think this whole thing will be so good for all of us.

Good for the soldier and I, obviously but also for my son who will be able to see right up close how love works. Although I have been in love in his lifetime he has not been able to witness this for complex reasons which have finally been resolved. So I am thrilled at having the opportunity to expose him to what I value (love and relationship) as I know we have this in common.
