Saturn transits age and depress you one way or the other.  There is always a reality check involved not that this is a negative thing because everyone knows how ridiculous a woman in her 40’s looks when dressed like a teenager. A reality check when it comes to her is a gift from God. The soldier and I both have Saturn transits underway and I thought I ought to start chronicling this… for a myriad of reasons.

Last night I was talking to a friend about aging, another topic that is going to come to the front big time with Pluto in Capricorn. And about 5 years ago I was in the worst shape of my life. I looked absolutely horrible. It was appalling and never mind why, I decided I’d better get to the gym and get myself together or else.

So I went to the gym and after the initial shock (the first day I almost vomited when I got off a treadmill, the room was spinning), I took the time to look around at the other women there, specifically the women who were older and I noticed something. Neith writes on the Hapless Capricorn blog: “…Besides with lots of Capricorn, you have the added benefit of growing “younger” . . . much to the disgust of the rest of us!”

Well Neith, as a matter of fact a few days ago another astrologer who reads this blog, (I am not going to name names ;-)) told me I did not act my age. She actually said this to me just like that. ::smiles::

And though I was too stunned to respond I realized a few minutes later I should take it as a compliment because I am sure it was intended that way and because if it’s true, this makes me a very successful Capricorn.

I don’t think Capricorn necessarily reverse ages like they say. Some of them remain dour to the grave. Some of them never loosen up. It is up the individual to look at all they’ve done and in the case of Capricorn, all they have endured and still must endure and decide enough is enough. I have paid my dues! I have paid them forty times over and further I think it’s my responsibility to enjoy myself so the young goats can see this can all work out!

It’s sort of like running a marathon. If you run a marathon and then want some pie, for Godsakes have the pie!

Do you credit yourself for endurance?

Dear Wife,

Yes, I have a pretty good guess. I don’t think the lack of sex has anything to do with you. I think your husband is feeling his age. He is in his mid-fifties and you are nearly 20 years younger and I think he’s slowing down.

However, I don’t know that he won’t fire back up. He’s getting hit hard with the Saturn Neptune transit to his Sun and its ruler Pluto and I imagine he feels low energy and just tired and dissipated in general. And with a stellium in Pisces, I am sure you understand.

Things may very well improve late summer when this thing breaks apart but I still think this situation is a heads up for you. Because Saturn is about to enter Virgo opposing your Venus in Pisces… and the reality (Saturn) that you are married (Venus) to an older man (Saturn) may become the issue of the day.
