I know most would be curious as to why I am writing on my blog the day after I got married and it’s simple. The soldier has to leave tomorrow (or Monday it we are extra lucky) and he has some things to do that require complete attention before he goes so he’s doing that and I am doing this and he’s done we’ll go back to hibernating until he has to leave.

“I like the guy and I respect him,” the soldier said. “And he ought to be glad of it because I like and respect almost no one.”

“True.”

“But he doesn’t seem to realize what a loyal bastard he’s got on his team.”

“No, I’m sure he doesn’t. He’s probably never met anyone loyal in his life and has no idea what it is.”

I actually believe that last statement. Loyalty is not only undervalued, it is damned near unheard of.

The other day when I was looking for the date of my divorce so I could get a marriage license I came across a folder of astrology charts from the early 90’s. That was when computer programs to calculate charts came out but I didn’t own one. At the time when I met someone I made a trip to the metaphysical bookstore and a dotty old fashioned DOS chart print out.

On topic, I have the chart of the main tabloid reporter who covered the JonBenet Ramsey case. This was after Nicole Simpson was murdered and you may or may not remember it was the tabloid breaking all the news in that case. They really gained status at that time, routinely publishing things that were later proved true and this guy was front and center in that. (He is a Capricorn rising so quite credible)

I contacted the soldier in 2003 who immediately started telling me stuff and I mean he wasted no time at all. After containing virtually everything throughout his life, he offloaded pretty much all his stories (in raw form) in about a month’s time.  At the end of that month I was standing there, holding a bag the likes of which I’d not seen… in awhile.
