Astrology, Violence and the Collective’s Defense Against Reality: Predicting Pluto In Capricorn

Ask the Collective…

saturn reality checkOkay, let’s change the subject! Did you know there is no such thing a (violent) crime of passion? Up until 1980 it was widely believed that people went crazy and committed violent acts. They were out of their mind and this thing happened. They killed someone or whatever. Many people still believe this and if I ever sit on a jury with one of them I will be able to disabuse them of this notion because I am familiar with the Lonnie Athens work.

In the late 70’s Lonnie Athens ran around and interviewed violent criminals in prison and one of the things he discovered was that they knew exactly what they were doing. And I admire Athens. It’s not anyone who can just waltz into a prison and get these dudes to talk to them with any kind of candor. As a matter of fact, Athens risked his life for this research which he published in 1980 in his book, "The Creation Of Dangerous Violent Criminals".

Turns out the thought process that leads a violent criminal to commit the act does not vary from criminal to criminal. When talking about their crimes, the offenders all sound like this:

“Well at first I was just going to do x,y, and z, bust him/her up a little…”

and then they shift, finding justification for what they are about to do:

“But then she did a, b, c… “ or “But then I started thinking about last week or last month…”

And they come to their conclusion.

“And at that point I decided I should just kill him/her…”

neptuneIt is shocking how utterly cognizant these people are of what they are doing, especially when you contrast it with the “crime of passion” idea which it turns out is a big myth!

I imagine (Neptune) that the idea of people committing violent crimes in some kind of altered state it is our collective (Pluto) defense (Saturn) against reality (Saturn).

I also think as Saturn moves out from it’s opposition with Neptune, we will become aware of these type defenses and when Pluto goes into Capricorn they will fall.

What do you think?

United Astrology Conference - UAC 2008 In Denver: God Help Me… Or Jupiter, Apollo, Whoever You’ve Got!

Outtakes and Various Other Sundries…

star trek uhura transporterI was talking to pal and astrologer, cf perez today about feeling lousy for no reason. This is how it is for Saturn Neptune. Your depression has no basis in reality and either does your bliss! Get it? I can feel bereft for no reason at all. I can also feel like I am walking around with God on steroids, totally taking care of me and I have no reason for that either/

Lucky for me I run about 90/10 away from depression, but anyway we were discussing this. And cf was reminding me how we are part of the collective and we take on and take in whatever is going on. And there is so much going on. And it’s especially gloomy in Denver right now. It’s cold! Astrology and Ted Haggard: Pluto’s Transit Through Sagittarius… Followed By Pluto’s Ingress Into Capricorn in 2008

Astrology in Real Life…

haggardNow regarding disgraced evangelical, Ted Haggard this is another manifestation of Pluto’s (the shadow side) transit through Sagittarius (religion). And with this long transit winding up, most people are relatively unfazed with this sort of news.

We’re all saturated with this by now. We are no longer surprised over pedophile priests and the like, the way we were with repressed memories of incest (shadow side of sex) towards the end of Pluto’s transit through Scorpio. And you can see how this is healthy for the collective.

pluto symbolFor example; prior to Pluto’s transit thought Scorpio… well incest has been going on since the beginning of time. But no one spoke of it! The Pluto transit turned up that rock and now we all know. Not that there are perps around every corner, but that this kind of things takes place with x frequency in the collective.

And now, it’s the same thing with religious leaders. Just because you’re a priest… so what? You could be the most heinous bastard around! And airing this stuff out, helps!

capricorn 2008So anyway, pretty soon (2008) Pluto will leave Sadge for Capricorn and guess what that means? The shadow side of the government, for one thing!

And I don’t mean the government you don’t like! I mean the all government, everywhere.

Like AIDS spread with Pluto in Scorpio. It spread all over the globe! And with Pluto in Sagittarius it’s the shadow side of all religion, not just the religion —-> over there that has nothing to do with you.

So for those who like to pay attention, like me… you can see one thing fading out, while the next comes in. And you may think you understand the corruption in government but I guarantee whatever you can see is the tip of the iceberg. Because with Pluto, this is just how it is.

Stay tuned because this life is never boring.

Astrology and the Proliferation of Porn: Pluto in Sagittarius

Just Blathering…

sagittarius horoscope zodiacThe wide variety and copious amount of pornography available these days I would also chock up to Pluto in Sadge. When Pluto moves through a sign, we see the shadow side if the things it rules. It’s the publishing (Sagittarius) of that which is private (Pluto), on a wide scale (Sagittarius). Taboo sex (Pluto) is especially large (Jupiter). Publish the shadow side. Broadcast it!

And along with the other manifestations of Pluto through Sagittarius, none of this is new. The performance enhancing drugs (shadow side of Sagittarius ruled sports) the doctored photographs and the plagiarism….and the made up non fiction books, ala “Million Little Pieces” (shadow side of publishing) and pedophile priests (shadow side of religion) are not new. This has just come to the front at this time, and in a big way, because we’re talkin’ Sadge here.

So porn is always a hot topic on this blog. And sure enough there is another one of those questions coming up, but for those who are having problems…people married to porn addicts for examples, who are being told that porn is here to stay, well I think that’s right. However, I think its popularity has nearly peaked.

Right now it sort of the soup de jour. But when Pluto leaves Sadge…well, people will have reached a point of saturation. They will start to see that making a career of, making a life of watching porn and defending their right to watch porn will becom passÆ’
