Astrology And (Collective) Fears Of Terror At The Super Bowl

Outtakes and various other sundries…

black sundayZavela asks:

“The question is “do you feel that Super Bowl will end up unharmed”? “What do the stars say”? I am concern about safety of people incl. my family that will attend…”

Zavela, I have no way of knowing but I suspect there will be no problems at all. One day we may get nuked but since we don’t know when, where or ever if, it does not make sense live in fear and this fear in particular is especially unfounded.

There was a movie (maybe 2 of them) made about terrorist events taking place at the Super Bowl in the 70’s and ever since then this fear comes up in people’s hearts and minds each year. Will everyone in the stadium be killed? Will there be a stampede? I would wager, “hell no” and tend to win most my bets but it you more stable assurance check this bit of wisdom.

Pluto In Capricorn: Who Is Trendy Now, Baybeeee?

Astrology in real life

elsa in desertToday I had to tell a Capricorn rising that she was going to have to take out the powerful authority figure she admires because she is the reeeal powerful authority figure and with Saturn coming to conjunct her natal Pluto on the midheaven in a couple years, there is no doubt.

Is he the father? She is the father and I have to admit it was fun to do. And it smacks of Pluto in Capricorn, I really feel a buzz.

I feel a buzz because I know I am a person of depth (Pluto) and substance (Capricorn) and I think I am actually coming into style.

This happened once before you know you and it really through me for a loop. I am the kid in the picture there and none too stylish.

Anyway, I wrote this in 2001 about my last turn on top the wheel…

Trends In The Collective: Pluto In Capricorn = Less Sex?

Ask the collective

carrie jonesI ran across this thread on Maurice Fernandez’s message board:

Pluto in Capricorn - New Trend?

AquariusMoon posted:

“It’s just a promise I made until I get married. Where I’m at in life, the women have got to come with something else, not just the body, but the mind and the spirit. It usually trips them out, but that’s the way it’s going to be. I’m looking at the big picture,”

Pluto In Capricorn And The Move Towards Governance On The Internet

Astrology in real life

dc snipersIt was HQ who introduced me to the concept of governance on the Internet some years ago and I have become increasingly interested in it myself. I have also become interested in social physics… the science of society and everything I learn on that level is applied on this blog.

Now with an eighth house like mine, I am always aware of resources and I don’t mean money. I am far more interested in the ethereal, energy levels and so forth. I am interested in health as well and I like to see this blog chugging along.

While We’re Waiting For The Ball (Pluto) To Drop… What Would You Like To See Die?

Ask the collective

plutonianPluto’s shift from Sagittarius to Capricorn is sure to bringing new focus and sweeping change. What would you like to see be done like dinner?

Personally, I am sick of gossip and celebrity death and/or weight-watching. I don’t care what these people are doing. Real people are more interesting by far.

I am also sick of looking at everyone’s crotch. For Godsakes put your clothes on. What is it that makes everyone think they have to had a naked picture of themselves on the internet? I’m sick of it! It was something to see in 1980 but with the sea of flesh out there now, you’d get way more attention keeping your clothes on, duh.

Those are my main two - now you go.

Elsa, I am sick of…

Jupiter And Pluto Leaving Sagittarius For Capricorn: The Paparazzi, George Clooney, Dead Babies, Cocaine And The Shadow Side

Astrology in real life

george clooneyA couple days ago George Clooney spoke about the paparazzi breaking laws and putting celebrities in danger…

“What they’re doing is illegal, its high speed chases and they’re competing with each other. They’re not trying to catch me doing something stupid, they’re trying to create me doing something stupid. You don’t get to break all these laws and then say ‘I’m just doing my job.’ The guys that commit all these crimes are rewarded for it. It creates bounty hunters in a way. “

<snip>

“I am the son of an anchorman. I don’t want to restrict anyone’s rights. Take your pictures but don’t go 60 mph down a one way street. Don’t cause injury to people who aren’t involved.”

Britney Spears: Pluto In Sagittarius and the Shadow Side Of Publishing

My opinion

jupiterI just want to say that I feel it’s a modern day stoning when it comes to this girl. Has everyone forgotten it’s not nice to hit people when they’re down? What does this public want? To drive her to suicide? Death by press?

Personally, I will be glad to see Jupiter hit Capricorn. You can see why Capricorn follows Sadge. Things just keep getting bigger and bigger with no restraint. I am so tired of big mouths making their money on the backs of these young girls. Responsibility (Capricorn) in publishing (Jupiter) coming soon, I hope.

How Saturn in Virgo (Healthy Eating) Dovetails With Pluto In Capricorn (The Shadow Side of the Father / Parenting)

Ask the collective

salad kitsI was thinking about all this pre-packaged food and how it’s not so “Virgo” considering all the packaging. But it is Virgo when it come to efficiency and I’m thinking more and more of us will be looking for healthy (or healthier) fast food. And one of the reasons why dovetails with Pluto going into Capricorn.

With Pluto going into Capricorn, the shadow side of the father will come to light. And like it or don’t there is one and it’s huge, most noticeably in the fact so many fathers are absent. I think over half the kids live with single parents now (generally the mother) but the figure is misleading.

At my son’s age (8) there are some families still in tact, but by the time most kids reach my daughter’s age (12) they have been through (at least one) divorce. So what is the single mother to do?

The Virgo in their 20’s will say eat organic! Cook fresh food. That’s fine if you’ve got the time but what if you’re a mother trying to care for your children while you hold down a job? Good luck!

pre packaged saladSo for these people… mothers who call for pizza or rely on McDonalds for dinner, the availability of a packaged salad it a boon. Pre-washed lettuce, laced with chemicals is not organic lettuce not laced with chemicals but what should she do? Go to the farm? As it is she only sleeps 5 or 6 hours a night and it’s been going on for years…

Meanwhile where is Dad? Some of them pay child support and see their children but many do not. So while Saturn in Virgo pressures everyone to improve their diet, I think the availability of these “better for you” convenience foods is a boon and not just for parents.

With the shift to the earth signs we are all going to be working more than we have in the recent pass and it’s not such a bad idea to have your lunch thought out for you… portioned and ready to go.

What do you think? Can you see an upside to all this pre-packaged portion controlled food?

Saturn In Virgo In The News: No Health Care For The Unhealthy!

Astrology in Real Life…

virgoFrom drudgereport: NATIONAL HEALTH SYSTEM SHAKE-UP: POINTS FOR VEGGIES AND GYM; no treatment to those with unhealthy lifestyles…

“NHS should not treat those with unhealthy lifestyles’ say Tories” from thisislondon.co.uk

“Patients who refuse to change their unhealthy lifestyles should not be treated by the NHS, the Conservatives said today.

In a bid to ease spiralling levels of obesity and other health concerns, a Tory panel said certain treatments should be denied to patients who refuse to co-operate with health professionals and live healthier lifestyles…”

No surprise, is it? The Saturn crackdown has begun…
