I roared. ‘Oh come on. You do s0 like people. They sure like you. They like me too, I guess.” I paused to contemplate. “Yeah. We used to throw parties. You did, I did and we did together. I’m sure if we had a party people would show up if they could.”

The Moon in Sagittarius is mixed in the T-square with Mercury, Pluto and Uranus. Emotions are erratic and may tend to be overblown. In whatever case, they are deeply rooted and the family / the clan / the home country figures prominently.

Crackers said she may not have been able to tell if the sociopath was lying in the film and wondered if you could teach that kind of skill.  I think you can (readily) teach people to think critically but I had another angle on this she might have been touching on

After watching that movie, or part of it, I asked the soldier if he thought the psychologist knew he was being bullshitted.  He said  he didn’t know and neither of us were interested enough to watch and try to find out because the lying killer was so nauseating.

“Well they did think this. If was the brainy idea of the times and these poor parents.  The mothers, I mean.  They were told their kid was fine until they got hold of them.   If you’d have hugged your kid…  if you did not subconsciously hate your child, none of this would be happening.  The parents bought it for the most part for a myriad of reasons. This was accepted at the time, and there are people out there who still believe this. Yes. I know people who believe this right now, this year.  A person is schizophrenic because the family did it, they needed a scapegoat.”

“Emotional intelligence?” he asked. The soldier spent most his life in the jungle and missed a lot of this stuff.

“Yeah, emotional intelligent or EQ.  Someone wrote a book, it was all over Oprah and stuff.  It was about how you could be stupid but emotionally smart.  You’re not really stupid because you are emotionally very smart.”
