It’s a day for the intellectuals and they deserve it after being beaten for months with such profound emphasis on the earth signs. Rejoice in your ability to think and reason. Stay in your head and escape the mud and emotion for a change!

Dear Capricorn,

I don’t think you are overreacting. I would feel used myself which would give rise to feelings or mistrust that would be uncomfortable.

Now I am sure there are lighter fare folks out there who would read this situation otherwise.  You could be criticized or seen as a control freak for example but I see a pattern here and think your hit on this is correct: you brought her in too soon and I am sorry.

A couple decades ago my sister came up with this idea that transits of the planet the rules the chart are always beneficial.  This was innovative at the time because both my sister and I are Capricorn rising and the widely held wisdom at the time was that you were uniformly up a creek when Saturn came ’round.

Her basis was that the individual is naturally attuned to the energy of the chart ruler so had little problem aligning and while this makes logical sense I have never been able to draw a firm conclusion even though I always, always benefit by transits of Saturn as does my sister but here’s the question:

Is it because she is right about this, or is it because both of us have Saturn strongly placed and well aspected?  In other words, if Saturn were trashed in our charts would we still fare well? Libra has never been able to decide.

Is the chart ruler friendly to the chart… Period?

I have strong feelings about single parenthood and they are getting stronger every day.  There has been an enormous influx of male energy since the soldier arrived and the arrived full time and the benefits to my son are absolutely stunning.

As a woman, I have little knowledge of the secret lives of boys. I am finding out that it does not matter how sophisticated I may (or may not) be… I am not a man means I am not a man means I am not a man.

So now when the soldier shuttles my son and his friend between the houses he is privy to the fact their art teacher has a tattoo on her chest and the boys wonder if it goes all the way to her “thingies”. Think my son would ever mention such a thing to me?  ::smiles::

What causes deja vu and how does astrology fit in all this?

I went to court yesterday with this song in my head, “Hi ho! Hi ho! It’s off to court I go!” Not that I think court is fun… it is more like heading off to your own execution but since it’s inevitable and all…

I expected things to go well for a myriad of reasons. One of them was yesterday’s grand trine in Earth which aspect my chart nicely and sure enough…

Well if you go to court for one of those cattle call things where you have no idea when your case will be called and your case is called first - then this is luck, yes? But my luck was even better than that as my case was not actually called at all.

Instead all the parties had a pow-wow and decided we all agreed to this, this and that and as soon as the judge walked in the prosecutor has him sign the order… we have another court date in 90 days. And I have to tell you this felt like a payday. I felt I was being paid for my ability to get along with people which is a comment on the Aries/ Libra axis.

The verse (from Kenny Rogers, “The Gambler”) goes:

“You got to know when to hold ‘em, know when to fold ‘em,
Know when to walk away and know when to run…”

Fight or compromise? Which function is most in line with your nature? Got Aries? What about Libra?

“I was going to go hunt hunters at one time,” the soldier said.

“Yeah? Like what?”

“Well I considered going to Africa.  They hunt rhinos there and they don’t even kill then. They just cut off their horns and leave them to bleed to death.”

“I’ve heard of that,” I said.

“Yeah, well they go after those bastards. They drop you in 4 man teams and you go after the rhino hunters and I thought about doing it, know what I was going to say when I found one of them?”
